Right/Left/Ambidexterity in Overwatch
So Iām not sure if anyone else has made something like this but eh. It came up in a fic and escalated from there. Most of these are hcās, and I give explanations for some of them. If you want to talk about some of these though just hit me up in my ask box! I am open to suggestions.

Since telling my Mum that I considered myself ace, I already noticed that she was a bitā¦ too interested, if you want to say it like that. Asking for āsignsā, or how being ace feels likeā¦ I tried to answer her to the best of my ability, giving her links to websites that would explain better as I ever could.
Today she said, very quietly, āDo you think I could be ace, too?ā

And my Mum, my strong, self-confident Mum, who never onceĀ has ever felt uncomfortable in her own skin as far as I know, beamed in relief. Relief.Ā
Ā Because she never knew. Because getting married young and bearing children for her husband (meaning sex) was expected of her. Because everyone gave her the feeling as if something would beĀ wrong or broken about her if she didnāt want, didnāt do that.
Because her whole life long, she thought there was something wrong with her.
Iām honestly torn between feeling happy and relieved for her, and angry that humanity has such trouble with showing some understanding to those who donāt fit in the boxes society has designed for all of us.
Update: My Mum was getting ready for bed when I noticed her humming loudly around her toothbrush and I asked her what the good mood was about.

And continued on with her brushing, humming a bit louder.

We naturally put millionaires and billionaires in the same general class of person, but the only reason to do that is because the words are similar. Since these arenāt numbers we can actually visualize, itās important to understand what a billion of something is. To travel a million inches, youād have to travel from the Southern-most tip of Manhattan and go to the Bronx. To travel a billion inches, youād have to fly from New York to Shanghai twice. A million seconds is a little over 11 days. A billion seconds is nearly 32 years. A million ounces is about the weight of a train car. A billion ounces is 4.5 Eiffel Towers. Use these to conceptualize what the difference between a millionaire and a billionaire is, and the absurd amount of wealth weāre talking about.
Millionaire: I can buy a fancy sports car, and a huge house!
Billionaire: I can buy THE SPACE PROGRAM
Concept: That scene in every 90s high school movie where someone shows the new kid around the cafeteria (āthat table is the nerds, those are the jocks, the goths, the cheerleedersā etc) except itās a medieval tavern and each table has a different d&d class.
Those are the arcane casters. They all sit together, but the wizards think the sorcerers are undisciplined cheaters and the sorcerers think the wizards are pretentious dicks. You donāt wanna get in the middle of thatāthe last person who tried got polymorphed into a toad. I guess he had a lot of debts he was looking to get out of, though, so he just rolled with it. Heās somebodyās familiar now, I think.
The bards used to sit with them, but they broke off a while ago to do their own thing. Look, I should tell you right now: youāre poetically gonna sleep with at least one of them. Itās happened to most of us, so donāt be embarrassed. If youāre lucky, you might get away with just a ballad to your beauty parodying an 80s rock hit.
The paladins are at the next table over. Religious freaks, but if youāre getting bullied theyāll have your back even if they donāt know you. You, uhā¦you might end up sleeping with some of them, too. Look, theyāre really good listeners, okay? Whatever.
The druids. Donāt even THINK of trying to sit with them unless youāre rocking a negative carbon footprint. Or if you can turn into a bear or a slow loris or something, they love that shit.
