自2004年起活躍於紐約夜生活圈的DJ Tikka Masala（she/they）是一位來自布魯克林的DJ、製作人和藝術家。她曾是Henrietta Hudson的駐場DJ，這家酒吧是紐約最早一批以女同性戀為主題、由酷兒團體經營的酒吧之一。她擅長在舞池中營造社群氛圍，融合跨越地域、時代和流派的多元音樂，並能敏銳地捕捉現場觀眾的情緒。嘻哈、House、經典雷鬼、世界電子音樂、南亞民謠和古典音樂傳統都激發了她的創作靈感，她不僅將這些音樂帶到夜店，還帶到了白宮、Performa藝術中心、麻省當代藝術博物館（Mass MOCA）、雅各布之枕舞蹈節、布魯克林博物館以及世界各地的俱樂部。
Working in New York nightlife since 2004, DJ Tikka Masala (she/they) is a Brooklyn-based DJ, producer, and artist, and was a resident DJ at Henrietta Hudson, one of the first sapphic-oriented, queer-run bars in NY, creating community on the dance floor, mixing a range of music that spans geographies, time and genres and responds intuitively to the audience at hand.
Hip Hop, House, classic reggae, global electronic music, South Asian folk music and classical traditions inspire her sensibilities which she brought not only to night clubs but places like the White House, Performa, Mass MOCA, Jacob's Pillow, The Brooklyn Museum, and clubs all over the world.
