Just because Hermione said that Ron has the "emotional range of a teaspoon" doesn't make it a fact (and if I remember correctly she said it "nastily") . I applaud fanfiction writers who understand this thought.

Also, just because Hermione told Harry in GoF that Ron was upset with Harry because he was jealous, again, does not make it a fact. Her words actually seemed to make things worse between them since Harry was on his way to make Ron believe him before she meddled. Thank you fanfiction writers who recognize this as well.

(Just want to add that I love Hermione, including all of her flaws. She is my favorite after Ron. But her word is not fact especially when it comes to emotions.)

I've been reading A LOT of fanfiction where Romione is the side couple (I can't get enough of them, it's a problem). Lately, that has meant reading Drarry fics. I don't like Draco but will take one for the team for good Romione 🙂. And I want to point out that there are some Drarry writers that show respect to Ron and to his friendship with Harry and I appreciate that! That being said, it gets really old when Ron is like the "villain" of the story in a way. Everyone else either immediately or soon accepts/forgives/befriends,etc Draco. Then there is Ron who acts like such a jerk that Hermione even starts to "reconsider their relationship" and Harry says the awful line "don't make me choose because you won't like the answer.". And very rarely in these stories is any empathy shown to how Ron feels. It's frustrating. Why do some writers feel its necessary to villanize Ron to make Drarry happen?

NOTE: This is just a rant as a Ron and Romione fan. I'm not trying to tell Drarry writers how to write their stories.

So in my never ending search for good Romione content I have started reading stories where they are the side pairing instead of the main couple. And so far I've discovered that Hinny writers write FANTASTIC Romione ( at least the ones I've read so far). So thanks for that!

So far I have 6 Romione one shots(?)/ficlets (?) in various stages of "nearly finished.". I have always had a problem with finishing things I start due to a mixture of distraction/obsession over a new idea and just plain wanting it to be perfect.

I really want to start sharing them soon though because, even if my ideas aren't anything new, they might be the mixture of flavors that your palette has been craving. And it is fun to write them. Also, there just isn't enough Romione!
