I love soft Sasuke and I believe there should be more of that side of him showcased (my boi's had enough trauma)

I wish we could have seen more of Sasuke's redemption arc and especially the bonds he had to restore (and deepen) with Sakura and Kakashi (not to mention Naruto bc he already has a really deep bond with him).

sns fucks me up to a degree i cant even verbalize anymore. i just sigh out of nowhere like im yearning for a long lost lover but really im thinking about the way sasuke only accepted naruto's affection & care once naruto described it as pain, because the one thing that sasuke understands is suffering. so when naruto tells him that it hurts to think about what sasuke went through, he finally gets it

what destroys me even more is that after all this, naruto refuses to give up on him and watch sasuke die, and he adamantly makes it clear that he would still chase after him no matter how often sasuke goes against him, but that he is convinced that sasuke wouldn’t do that anymore.

sasuke, who asks what makes naruto so sure of that, just starts crying when naruto talks about how sasuke still isn’t getting it.

sasuke, who barely ever cried in all of the 700 chapters, was moved to tears by naruto’s love for him and the length he was willing to go for him. because of the absolute trust naruto had in him.

he cried because he felt loved.

it’s even worse when people approve shikamaru’s revenge and not sasuke’s because we’re talking about shikamaru’s sensei who was killed on duty, so there was actually no legal reason to avenge him x state sanctioned genocide done by sasuke’s own blood

if i read one more stupid take about how sasuke is an emotionless and cold bastard i’m going to commit some crimes, did you read the manga with your eyes closed???

how has it gone past your head that sasuke’s entire character resolves around him feeling TOO MUCH and thus going crazy and trying to avenge his clan/brother

he loved his family too much, and then he loved his brother too much, and then he loved his relationship with naruto too much (the only thing keeping him from being completely alone) like… sasuke feels more than 80% of people on that series y’all must be blind

every once in a while i think i'm normal about sasuke and naruto but then i remember "can you kill me calmly sasuke" and "you were my goal" and their young selves holding hands in their minds and "i'll bear the burden of your hatred and die with you" and "it wasn't meaningless" and usuratonkachi and sasuke asking naruto to define friend while looking angry and naruto not being able to and sasuke crying because naruto loves him and sasuke sacrificing himself for naruto in land of waves and naruto going feral when orochimaru so much as mentions sasuke and them being so in sync in the war and naruto just needing to see sasuke in five kage summit to make up his mind about what to do and sasuke protecting naruto in the war and naruto saying to jiraiya he'd rather stay a fool his entire life if being smart meant giving up on sasuke and i realize i am a fool too for thinking i could ever be even remotely normal about these two
