Just finished my fanart of Kimi No Na Wa. / Your Name.! I wasn't able to draw for a long time due to school and the like but now I'm free to make more fanarts in the future. Hopefully I'm not too late in making a fanart of this beautiful movie (cuz it came out awhile ago).

Kimi No Na Wa. / Your Name was such an amazing anime movie and it’s probably the best movie I’ve ever see in general! And I’ve pretty much fallen in love with the story, characters, soundtrack, and everything about it! Anyways, here is my current work in progress of Mitsuha Miyamizu. I’m trying to depict a certain scene in the movie which is probably the single greatest anime moment I’ve ever witnessed, but I’m not going to spoil it.

I’m so triggered right now.  Gohan was, and is, the best written character in the series with Vegeta as a close second and anyone who disagrees can fight me on Namek for 20 episodes. He was a bitch only during the years Chi Chi raised him and he wasn’t allowed to train or do anything really.   He got over that in his very first character arc.

I’d say he had a slight relapse around the time of the Android and Cell sagas.  It took about 6 episodes of Goku cheerleading him on from the afterlife before he manned up enough to kill Cell.

A small child not wanting to kill is not bitch like behavior.  It’s literally child like behavior.  And some of that time wasn’t him not being “man enough” to kill Cell, he straight up said he wanted to “have some fun first”.  He ignored Goku’s pleas for him to finish Cell and started torturing him instead.  Because SSJ2 is harder to control than SSJ1.   When Cell returned it took him a while longer but that’s because Cell, having both Goku and Vegeta’s genes, was empowered by the Saiyan blood because of the boost they have right after recovering from a mortal wound. To me that’s the best part of Gohan’s entire story, definitely not something I expected to hear called bitch like lol.  It’s amazing even in SSJ2 that he was able to defeat cell, obliterating every atom in his body, while Cell was powered up in his perfect form. 

Also if you are talking about the original series and not Dragon Ball Z Kai then you have to consider they added tons of filler dialogue and even filler plot lines throughout the series that wasn’t in the original Manga and wasn’t supposed to be part of the story simply because the Manga was being written at the same time and they got ahead of source material. I rewatched Kai recently and definitely didn’t see any bitchy behavior from Gohan during that period.

I think he had already killed on Namek, though, (or at least knocked Frieza’s soldiers unconscious and left them at the bottom of a lake) so it’s weird that it didn’t bother him then.  That’s true, he had that Vegeta moment and nearly fucked up everything.  I don’t know if the pep talk he needed from 16 was filler or not.

I’ve never watched much of Kai.

No the pep talk he needed from 16 was crucial to the story and still included but the difference between the situations was Cell hadn’t killed needlessly but rather was threatening to if the world didn’t provide him someone more powerful than he was.  That’s definitely evil, but Gohan still thought he could be reasoned with.  He told him “We don’t have to do this, I don’t want to kill you” and Cell pushed further.  We also got the single most important piece of dialogue for his character of the entire series which was (paraphrasing) “I don’t want to fight anymore,  I don’t like fighting like my dad does”.  I’ll give you he was immature, but he wasn’t being a bitch.  He was just innocent and thought Cell could change but in the end he didn’t even care about that anymore (”I cant forgive you for what you’ve done”) and just wanted revenge for all of the people he killed.  Friezas soldiers wiped out inhabited planets indiscriminately to be sold as real estate to more powerful races so even child Gohan could understand that it’s kill or be killed with them.–

Oh I was joking too, I hoped it was implied by the offer to fight on a faraway planet in a fictional universe but I should’ve said it.  Sorry about the miscommunication.  I should warn you though, while I’m here, that if you’re new to tumblr expect a lot of people who aren’t joking to get very butthurt about jokes relating to fiction and pop culture because people on Tumblr take shit way too seriously in general.
