So this thought hit me like a brick: WC could also have a Twitter.

This is going to be a bit of a shift, but we can make it work. If WC does a website etc., updates will be posted here. Obviously it would be much harder for WC’s typical dynamic of profiles/long posts etc. to work on Twitter, so other content will be determined as soon as the dynamics of Tumblr vs. Twitter community start making sense.

It really does suck the fun out of everything when you try not to abandon your book baby for the new idea. Especially if the new idea is something (in this case dystopian) you would be more drawn to be interested.

Probably worst part about being newbie writer is trying to decide which publishing way you go.

Both has so many pros and cons that it can be emotionally really exhausting to try and pick which things are important to you.

For example for me creativity is important and I have heard too many (for my liking) stories where traditional publisher has decided cover that doesn’t fit with the story or where the synopsis is misleading or they make the author do changes that destroys the story completely. So based on that I would reallly wanna go self publishing route.

But! I have been bullied in a past to the point that I have depression so the stigma around self published books/authors gives me anxiety which I’m not entirely sure I can handle. Also I’m not sure if I have money to hire editors and all that bc honestly that shit is expensive. But it also is something I definitely don’t wanna skip bc heh... Foreign writing in English 👌 hello typos and grammar errors.

OK, so I decided to make a bookish “Tag” to kind of introduce myself here. I found it on one of the booktube channels I watch and … yeah Would you rather… 1. Read only trilogies or stand alones? - Trilogies. I would go mad if I only get one book per world.. nope. 2. Read only female or male authors? - Female, but I rarely pay attention to the author as I pick the book unless I discover it bc of the author. 3. Shop at Barnes & Noble or Amazon? - Amazon. I love bookstores (I live in Finland so no b&n) and I do spend a loot of time in them.. However, I am poor so I gotta go with the cheaper option 4. All books become movies or t.v. shows? - Shows bc movies just can’t put all the details in it. It is impossible. Like in THG there was no Madge or the major, I’m not even starting with Divergent. Still low-key mad that Uriah wasn’t in the first movie 5. Read 5 pages per day or 5 books per week? - 5 books per week. 6. Be a professional reviewer or author? - Author. 7. Only read your top 20 favorite books over and over or always read new ones that you haven’t read before? - New ones. I have 28 books on to-read list atm and it just keeps growing 8. Be a librarian or bookseller? - Bookseller. 9. Only read your favorite genre or every genre except your favorite? - I don’t really read out of sci-fi/fantasy so I gotta pick the first option 10. Only read physical books or eBooks? - I have to say eBook bc for some reason I read more on my phone. I think it’s bc I often read right before I go sleep and I don’t have a reading light or anything so phone just is easier for me. But I still would buy the physical copy just bc I love them
