My manager once told me that I don't come across as a person that could be internet famous and I've been thinking about that for a while, for months mulling over my own understanding of that because I too feel the same way. I really, really value things that feel personal and intimate, things that are solely mine and no one else's which for me, are the things I experience and how I interpret them. To share my feelings, my thoughts, my intensity through a platform like Tik Tok that is fleeting and too digestible feels wrong, morally. The idea of monetizing my existence, and by monetizing I'm not only referring to money but attention, validation, etc... makes me nauseous. However, I do love to share things. Everything I share is almost like a project, it has to be for me to feel fulfilled otherwise I might as well keep it private. All this to say if I abandoned my moral compass during my solo trip last year and posted a documentation of my trip I might be Tik Tok famous by now lol
