The image of you fist pumping brought a smile to my face, just so you’re aware. Honestly though? I don’t mind hearing about that kind of stuff. I like learning about new things, even if it isn’t something I’ll pursue myself. Besides, I have like the third most accurate tv show’s knowledge to help me follow along. I could definitely see you being a neurosurgeon. You have that ‘I could stop a brain bleed or remove a tumor’ look about you, which is very reassuring.

I’ll do my good deed for the decade an ignore that innuendo as much as I can. It’s actually a ball python, so it’s a pretty decent size. I mean, I’ve only had Lumix for five years, and he’s expected to live until thirty, so I’m assuming he hasn’t stopped growing yet. Sure, fair enough, if you want morbidly average college stories, I’m your guy. Once you get bored, though, I’ll be happy to rent you Blue Mountain State or 22 Jump Street.

That is very valuable information indeed, I’ll be sure to store it if I’m ever in a rush to get a grin out of you. Be careful when you say that, I might just bring over one of my textbooks and teach you all about operating on the human brain if you’re really that interested. However, I’ll take that as a compliment, since it’s still better than having a “serial killer that you meet in an alley at 2 AM” look, I suppose.

Do you have steady hands? All of my medical knowledge comes from watching Grey’s Anatomy, so who even knows how accurate that would be. What would your specialty be, Sir? I think that’s an excellent field to go into. Hard, but definitely rewarding

Expensive schools usually do end up being excellent, unfortunately. My college experience itself was nothing unusual, honestly. A few parties and good friends along the way, but mostly lots of studying and coffee. My roommate didn’t make me get rid of my snake, even though he very easily could have, which definitely made it that much better. I’d suggest you rent one of those cheesy college movies and live vicariously through that instead, you’ll be better off.

As steady as they come. So long as they don’t play some jazzy 60s music - I might have to start fist pumping along. Though actually, I read somewhere that Grey’s Anatomy is something like the third most accurate TV show when it comes to that stuff, so you might not be that far off. Ideally, I’m aiming for the specific field of neurosurgery, but I’d be almost equally content with cardiothoracic. I’d go into more detail about that, but I’d like to save you the trouble of being bored to tears.

I looked into Stanford for a while. Not exactly the cheapest school to go to undecided, but I figured I could probably get some scholarships and figure the rest out as I go. 

So you’re planning on become a doctor? That’s far from bleak, actually. Do you know exactly what you’d want to do? Even if we are among a generation of over-thinkers and planners, that doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing if you know what you want.

No, not the cheapest, but that shouldn’t discourage you. Money is obtainable one way or another, in the end. I almost didn’t apply to Yale because of how insane the price of it was, though I am glad I did. Sure, I’m currently drowning in student loans, but I these two extra years should help at least with saving up.

A surgeon, specifically, though that might change as I actually go through med school. It should be a pretty good career to pay off the expenses of actually studying to get there, I figure.
