Good morning Barcelona!
I woke up today and wandered down to the Englischer Garten. I watched the famous river surfers for awhile before heading to the beer garden at the chinese tower within the park. I enjoyed a liter of Weissbier before heading back to get some food and a quick rest.
After refueling I headed to the train station to meet a bier garten guided tour. The tour was a blast and a great way to meet new people. Quite a few of the people I met are planning on being in Prague at the same time as me. After getting sufficiently buzzed I managed to stumble my way back to the hostel and pass out.
In the morning I meet my new roommates and we all head out to go back to the gardens. It was a very nice afternoon and we layed down on benches for a siesta after another beer under the Chinese tower. The siesta was abruptly interrupted by a heavy downpour and we ran for shelter under the nearest tree. A friendly German lady who took shelter with us guided us to the nearest bus stop and we laughed our way back to the hostel in our soaking wet t-shirts. Good timing too because my head began to hurt quite badly from the night before. I think I will take it easy tonight and book my next hostel in Prague for tomorrow.
