something something, look at my doctor. he's a dog and I'm cooked
Mathis is a fun little foray into "what if werewolf, but instead of being brutish or outdoorsy in any way shape or form, the ferocious violent instincts of a werewolf were stuffed into a high society byronic lush of a doctor-surgeon who moonlights as an assassin and prides himself on being stealthy, precise, and exceedingly controlled"
Bit of a Jekyll and Hyde situation. He has to fight daily to suppress his more feral instincts (the salivating and stomach-growling during surgery has been... interesting) and perceives himself as an urbane gentleman who's above the baseness of the Wolf. But, at the end of the day, he's also an extremely shitty person who needs very little justification to kill someone and enjoy doing it, and is never terribly far from a scenario where he's happy to let his inner beast out to play.
He has stupidly straight posture even when he's in werewolf form, if that gives you an idea how uptight this man is
(he's even slouching uncharacteristically in wolf form on this character sheet because it IS difficult, he often stands straighter than that as a wolf)
