Summary: “Whenever you see this, think of me. Remember that we were here. Remember we were us.”
He curled his fingers around the clip but didn’t take his eyes off of her face, and reached up, gently brushing back a strand of her hair. “I always think of you.”

Summary: "Oh dear, you look cold," Queen Cersei said softly, floating next to her. "Come, come. Let's get you inside."
The Queen led her into the dark cave, offering her a seat. "Now, then. I'm told you're here because you desire to be with your Prince?" She flicked her hand and an image of Prince Jon erupted from thin air. "Hmm. I see now... Quite a handsome fellow."
Sansa couldn't help but smile at the sight of him. She'd wondered how he was faring after the shipwreck and ached to check for herself. She was relieved that he seemed alright.
"My sweet summer child, you have it bad," Queen Cersei informed her, a smile in her voice.
She blinked. "I -- what?"
"You're in love," she clarified with a laugh before swimming towards a tall shelf in the corner. "I know exactly what you need."

Summary: “Always sleepy, huh boy?” Jon asked the dog. In response Ghost’s eyes fixed on the net that was being pulled up and over the side of the boat. Jon smiled, but the smile disappeared from his face when he heard a desperate gasping cough coming from behind him.
He spun and looked for whoever could be making that sound, that sound he’d heard when someone almost drowned, of water needing to be expelled from the lungs. It wasn't until he glanced up that he saw red hair and a pale arm tangled in with fish and netting.

Summary: Everyone dies, she is right. But legends survive, and these days is weird to even think that Captain Jon Snow is a human being and not a nighttime-story told in order to scare the idiots who want to sail and still believe that they can own the sea.
OR Sansa waits, Jon comes back, and the world whispers about a captain blessed by the waves and the mermaid who loves him.

Summary: At first she merely watched him, swimming only close enough so she could see him as he swam with sure strokes, his legs cutting through the water in a way that fascinated her. They fanned past each other, moving apart, then together, only to move apart again, and Sansa felt some hidden part of herself struggle to do the same. She was frustrated when her tail only flicked and sent her shooting away from him. Her own body had never felt so wrong before. Her life had never fit so poorly.

Summary: “And weren’t mermaids a myth to you before you saw what you see now?” Ned asked.
Jon swallowed, his eyes returning to the red hair floating around the mermaid’s face. She smiled brightly as their eyes met and turned herself upside down so that her tail pointed skyward while she continued beaming at him through the glass. Ned chuckled. “She’s in a playful mood today. I think she likes you.”
Interviewer: At one point Greywind characterizes Ghost as the quiet one who was "one of them but not one of them." Since the direwolves seem to reflect the children, does this characterization of Ghost mean that Jon is somehow a part of but still separate from the people around him?
George: Oh yes, I think that's always been true. Even in Winterfell, as a kid before the wolves, Jon was the bastard. He was the odd one out. The rest of them are all brothers and sisters. He's only a half-brother, so he's not as closely tied to them. In some circumstances he could share everything with his brothers, he could train with Robb and all that, but then another circumstance would come up (like when the king came to the castle and they were choosing who could sit at the high table) and he's not welcome there. So he's of them, he's part of the family, he's part of the siblings, but he's a little bit apart too. Ghost is very similar to that. He's the albino, he's the one who makes no noise, so he's related to the other direwolves but one apart as well.
