Sorry for the delay in posts, in between Finals and trying to finish DGB before winter break, I've been super busy. However, once I officially release DGB to the public, expect a torrent of zombie apocalypse behind the scenes content.

How long has this game been in development? Also, I'd love to hear more about the core mechanics at play!
Sure thanks for asking! I've been developing Don't Get Bit off and on for about a year now. As for the mechanics, I'm putting the finishing touches on the first version as well as fleshing out the graphics right now, so expect a full rules document posted on my page in a week or two.
No two bodies of water look the same, just as no two survivors (player characters) in Don't Get Bit, my Zombie Apocalypse Ttrpg, are the same. I was working on game mechanics for staying hydrated and cleaning water, and I found these photos I've taken to provide a little inspiration.
A few graphics for Don't Get Bit, my zombie apocalypse ttrpg in development. The zombie face on the right I'm hoping to use a lot in rules and promotional documents. The tools and weapons on the right are neat and I can certainly see them being used in a variety of places.
Some doodles for Don't Get Bit, my Zombie Apocalypse ttrpg in development. Primarily just figuring out the interaction between skin tones and decay, blood, grime, etc. Proportions are whack but that's kinda whatever, the fun thing about zombies is you can mess them up as much as you want.
Set up a kofi page because commission work is not for the weak. Don't expect anyone to see this or tip anything but if I get this blog actually going this might be helpful to have set up. Anyway, DGB content coming out today, so keep an eye out

Captured a lot of colors in this photo from the sunrise this morning. I've been pretty busy figuring life stuff out lately but DGB and photography content is in development. Anyway, thanks for all the likes and reposts on my posts, it's pretty awesome.
Even more close ups! I figure I should just post as much as I can, especially early in my blog, just to get traction and such. But yeah, these photos in particular don't relate much to Don't Get Bit, but I promise DGB content is on the way
A few more photos I've taken -these ones are all kind of close ups so it feels right to group them together. Photography has been one of my biggest inspirations for Don't Get Bit, my zombie apocalypse ttrpg in development, because unlike in a high fantasy or sci fi world, Don't Get Bit happens right here on earth, and I think that's pretty cool.
Work day today. Trying to get a preliminary design on the Don't Get Bit character sheet, complete with some graphics.
Some straggler pics from my travels. (Ft. My shadow in the bottom image) Hopefully I can translate these vibes into my zombie apocalypse ttrpg Don't Get Bit.
The church ~
More inspo pictures I've taken across the Midwest in my pursuit to capture the vibes of Don't Get Bit. These ones are darker and less green than in my other post because a zombie apocalypse has got to be dark and dramatic because if not is it really a zombie apocalypse??
Inspo pictures I've taken from my travels across the American Midwest. This is how I want Don't Get Bit (my zombie apocalypse ttrpg) to FEEL. So much zombie material is focused on big cities but I've always found something so creepy about silent small towns.
Handful of logo assets for my zombie apocalypse ttrpg Don't Get Bit. will likely get reworked at some point but for now I think they'll suffice. Not sure how prominent I want the machete design to be in the game's branding and typography but that's something for future M to worry about
