I love seeing everyone posting various bits of fan art of the new TMAGP crew and watching Sam get the Jonathan Sims treatment of character design, i.e. every character's looks are up to interpretation except this one character, everyone knows what they look like.

Me, pre episode 4: I have to be careful not to compare the entities from TMA to the ones from TMAGP, it's very possible that this universe has different rules and classifications for their version of the fears, and to presume both universes follow the same steadfast rules would be close-minded of me and could seriously diminish my enjoyment of this new story.

Ok, so, I recently listened to the season 3 Q&A and we are all very familiar with the whole Jonny "Half the Characters are Named Michael and the Character I Play is Named After Myself" Sims method of character naming perfection, but during the interview they mention that there is no character named Alex, a point that Alexander J Newel himself is very proud of and a standard he is very keen to uphold, and from what I can remember that seems to be true throughout the series.

But.

I was just doing some random researching on some names I liked and I ended up looking up the name Sasha. Apparently it's a unisex Russian name meaning "Defender" and is the shortened version of the Greek name meaning "Defender of Man": Alexander or Alexandra.

Sasha is short for Alexandra.

Sasha has been the real Alex all along.

and I have no idea if either Jonny or Alex are aware of this.
