asuka would make a nice mermaid | asuka n aoi
Asuka couldn’t say she knew Aoi too well; they hadn’t interacted directly and the pilot had only seen the other around a few times, though she seemed nice enough. In a way, she reminded Asuka of a girl she knew back in Tokyo-3, Hikari.
Her expression gave way to none of the mild curiousity she felt towards the swimmer, instead she placed a delicate hand on her hip, assuming a confident stance. “Aoi, right?”
She wasn't about to say something so ridiculous like that lunch was her favorite subject, but it was pretty high up there in the best parts of Aoi's day. Ordinarily she just took food back with her on the way to the gym, but stopping to eat some of the heavier bits seemed to have gotten her some small attention.
"Yeah, that's me! And you're... Shikinami-san, right?" Weird. Aoi couldn't say she knew Asuka all that well, but she'd certainly heard enough to get a good opinion. Said opinion being that she seemed like a pretty cool lady. "Um, what's up? Did you need me for something?"
