Watching 13's era is dangerous because at any moment the camera could cut to Yaz and I could be so overwhelmed by how stunning Mandip Gill is that I forget to breath and pass out

13 just absolutely not connecting with the fam in the woman who fell to earth, but also being so entrenched in some of the most raw and personal moments of their lives and being inherently connected to that.

I always come back to her 'I'm almost going to miss you' as she tried to leave without them, after she took the time to go to Grace's funeral and offer Ryan genuine comfort.

She's present but she's not. She took to Ryan so quickly (the dad senses are strong with this one) but it took longer with Yaz and Graham. She didn't Want to feel for these people and she never wanted to be close to anybody in any way (something that informs her entire life).
