In most versions of the myths Amphitrite fled from Poseidon to Atlas at the farthest ends of the sea; there the dolphin of Poseidon sought her through the islands of the sea, and finding her, spoke persuasively on behalf of Poseidon and convinced her to marry him. In my version, the dolphin only convinced her to come back and consider it and it was Poseidon that actually persuaded her.

He courted her for a long time, trying to woo her and as they talked and talked about it and got to know each other better she accepted ^^

Since Amphitrite doesn't have any(?) temples in her name and is generally not that present in most myths I hc that she's more secluded and prefers to stay in her domain rather than on olympus

Which is why she was so negative about this marriage at first , she didn't think she was fit to be a queen

She loves her kingdom and all of its creatures very dearly

She's said to be mother of sea monsters (besides the merman Triton that I drew here, plenty of fish, seals etc) and I think she would love them all no matter how monstrous they were

She listens to poseidon's rantings about odysseus and Athena(his forever nemesis) but she is much calmer than he is

Poseidon is very defensive about his wife he won't tolerate anything based on this post! (Actual myth!)

Amphitrite doesn't get upset about Poseidon's affairs they're very open about that

She loves her sisters very very much (also part of why she didn't want to become queen at first, she wanted to stay with her family)

Two tailed Scylla flanked by a Triton and a tritoness. Silver-gilt phalera. 300 - 100 BCE. Private collection. A phalera is a type of medal, a metal disc, award to Roman soldiers.

A dog’s head emerges from Scylla’s skirt and her two tails curl up on either side of her. The Triton on the left holds what looks like a conch shell in one hand an an oar in the other, and the figure on the right has breasts, meaning she’s a water nymph or tritoness.

Scylla with two tails is also common on ancient Roman coins. Scylla and sirens aren't that common on medals, the only other one I've seen is this two tailed siren medal from the 1400s.
