could you draw Leucothea?
Underrated goddess frfr, really loved her bit in the Odyssey, I’ve actually been wanting to draw something with her!!
Unfortunately it is only shitposts on my mind rn </3
Jkjk have these sketches as I tried to think of her vibe
Poseidon has another wife too!!! Halia! :3
Her? If I remember well she's also called Leucothea, and i drew her once for another ask. I-i hope i'm not wrong
could you draw Leucothea?
sure
More Leucothea! I actually drew this the same day as the chibi one lol.🤍🩵🤍🩵
could you draw Leucothea? The ocean goddess who helped Odysseus?
Took a while but I finally came up with a design! Thanks for the rq this was fun 🫶🏾✨🤍 (her veil is part of hair which is part of the ocean which she uses to help Ody float :D )
could you draw Leucothea?
Ody feels Bonita :D
something i’m a bit cheesed about. The only odyssey adaptation i have seen where Leucothea is acknowledged, is the spongebob movie. David hasselhoff takes the role of deus ex machina that helps the hero come home safely. I wish she appeared more, she shows how even the smallest mercy can save a life.
Well not quite. I know there is one or two comics that have Leucothea there. There is also a cartoon adaptation of the Odyssey that actually includes her:
But it is true that the vast majority of Odyssey media don't include her either because of time issues or because they hardly follow the plot anyways.
But yeah is a pity for sure.
