Tauriel wasn’t going to trust what Dori said about his brothers. If they were in Mirkwood they were already causing her enough trouble. She didn’t need it to become worse. How had they slipped past her and her guards? “Possibly,” she responded to his question. Tauriel took his spiked ball weapon and glanced around where they were standing. “Where do you think they would go here? What would they be interested in?” she asked.
Handing the weapon over and frowning slightly. "They only went out for a hike. This is the nearest forest we live to and they've been gone for sometime so I'm just worried. I don't know where they would have gone, but I do know it's easy to get off the trail." With that Dori let out a small gasp in worry. "The spiders! What if they got them!?"
