there’s this one city in poland that stops for a minute every year. at 5pm every year we stop, we think, we pray. it’s been 73 years since the warsaw uprising. it always gets me emotional when i think that people my age didn’t think twice, they just started fighting for their freedom. they were brave enough to forget about death. they didn’t care about stupid things we call problems now. they cared about their country, about freedom. their freedom and our freedom. thanks to those heroes 73 years ago, we’re here today.
