Mothers day...need I say more?
Mothers that think you have an eating disorder if you don't eat as much as they want you to.
Well Day 13 was pretty bad, but because I caved in during dinner.
I had this unsettling feeling in my stomach, like it had to be warm for some reason.
I tried to fill it with hot soup, but nothing seemed to work, so then I just kept eating a lot of rice.
In the end the calories piled up.
People don't realize this, but sushi is actually rather high in calories! Just one piece of salmon sushi is at least 70 calories! AHHH!
Breakfast: Some mac n cheese from annie's
Lunch: Mother's day lunch, comprising of two pieces of unagi sushi, two pieces of salmon sushi, about 2/3 cups of white short grained rice, about 2/3 cup of my grandma's potato salad, one garlic shrimp, and a small piece of strawberry shortcake with half a cup of cookies and cream ice cream.
Dinner: A lot of kim, or roasted korean seaweed laver, a bowl of miso soup, and about 1.5 cups of generic rice.
Snacks: 160 (the ice cream)
This brought my total to about 1600 calories, YIKES!!! At least I was really full :3
I showed a lot more self restraint today, even though I thought it could have gone better.
I wasn't hungry during breakfast, so I opted to wait until lunch to eat.
For lunch I made my own creation! I really wanted noodles, and I have a bunch of instant ramen noodles just wanting to be eaten. However, I know how bad it is and how much fat and calories it has.
So instead I made soba noodles and ate it with my madras lentils from tasty bite!
I wanted to eat the lentils anyway, so I decided to use soba noodles instead of my ramen.
I had a melona bar after since they were just lying around. I know right, bad idea!!!!
I also had a few wafer rolls since I was stuck at home all day with nothing to do.
For dinner I made my own creation again.
I got a small amount of rice (about 1/3 a cup) , a couple pieces of broccoli, and an egg.
I put them together in a bowl and then microwaved it for 30 seconds.
I then added some soy sauce and hawaiian salt for flavoring.
I then had a 100 calorie low fat ice cream bar since I just needed something sweet!
I'm happy that I didn't succumb to the yummyness of instant ramen!
So lunch was about 788 calories with all of the snacks
And dinner was 335 with the ice cream.
This brought my total to about 1100 calories today which is a lot better compared to my other days.
I hope I can do better this week, but I have a lot of projects due ><
