Oh we got some Jedi Master Palpatine AU...

Antithesis of his canon counterpart. He's not concerned with power and cares deeply for people. Trained both Maul and Anakin to be knights before denouncing his title and rank out of a sense of duty to raise his newly discovered family (Rey) who he was forbidden from training; essentially becomes a ronin in the outer-rim and ultimately switches places with Rey when it comes to dark side influences.

He'd still be a menace even as a Jedi (Doesn't care for rules or dress-codes much and still likes to rage-bait.)

Very Non Traditional views; often butts heads with other council members

Eccentric, stubborn and unorthodox; believes the Jedi order needs to evolve and loathes the bureaucracy of it all

Spiritually the class clown

Aggressive duellist: notorious for being a relentlessly fearsome sparring partner; specialist in Juyo and Jar'Kai; dabbles in Vaapad

Popular with the younglings for his sense of humour and passionate storytelling; is often teaching their group classes or recounting ancient fables to them

Is on the council but somehow always in trouble with the council; doesn't care

heres a list based on how likely i think star wars characters would pay taxes

1. c3po would worry about them and file them right on time or early

2. Mon motha is paying taxes so the empire doesn't find her suspicious (she's lying on the form though)

3. Chewbacca would sometimes pay his taxes

4. Obi wan would pay them if he had too and wasn't hiding

5. Padme would pay taxes i think before palpatine came to power if she was alive after i think she wouldn't

6. Breha and Bail aren't paying taxes or are committing tax fraud, they've done both

7. Lando may or may not pay taxes we don't know, he was most likely to pay taxes when he was on bespin but didn't any other time

8. Luke knows what taxes are but doesn't pay them, he claims his jedi order is a non profit or something OR doesn't get how new republic taxes work (also 90% sure in a comic he like was mad about how much jabba was taking in taxes and tried to do something about it)

9.Han isn't paying taxes but claims him and Leia file jointly

10. Leia is not paying taxes and everyone knows she's not but nobody is going to make her, she doesnt have a planet why should she pay taxes??

11. Qui gon isn't paying taxes under the claim "jedi don't have to"

12. Anakin isn't cuase Qui gon didn't

13. Palpatine doesn't cuase he thinks hes better then taxes and shouldn't have to actually pay any bills

14. R2d2 burned his tax form as c3po watched horrified

always funny to remember darth vader is anakin skywalker. the adrenaline junkie chucklefuck who used to dive head first out of speeders and built a pod racer in his yard when he was like six is now upper-middle management for the evil empire. half of his appearances in the original trilogy are Meetings. vader spends like 80% of his time dealing with bureaucratic bullshit. status updates. team meetings. holo-Zooms. budget rundowns. anakin betrayed the jedi and caused the fall of the republic and his punishment is being CC'd on every email forever. and you know what. he would hate that. the punishment fits the criminal

an extremely funny side effect of putting vader in very single sw media post clone wars is that his track record for hunting down and killing force users gets progressively worse. correct me if i’m wrong but i’m pretty sure maul: shadow lord takes place only a few years after the empire takes power and anakin can’t even take down maul, the dude he literally replaced. absolutely hilarious. palpatine you fucked up big time. can you imagine the zoom call afterwards
