So dad’s drunk now, all day, everyday. He just wakes up, eats lunch, goes to bed and wakes up again only for food and beers.

I haven’t seen grandma in 2 years at least. She doesn’t remember me now, but i feel like i could never forget her and i could never forgive me for not reaching out when i got time.

Sister is in Europe, living her best life. Got a new boyfriend and they went to Italy together. Good for her. At least she doesn’t have to deal with all of this.

I spent this last weekend alone in my apartment. Just cleaning and doing nothing. Waiting for the work week to come back and make some use of me again.

And mom’s trying her best, and she knows I’m trying too but for God’s sake I just wish she could have someone else to love her too, someone who would appreciate her. Not someone she has to take care of. Someone who would actually take care of her. And I can’t be that, not right now, not in this state of mind. I try to, but I have feelings that I need to work through, pain i need to heal, and a heavy loneliness i can’t seem to shake off.

And then there’s me. And I’m feeling way too empty for someone who always felt way too much way too soon. I’m no longer “too much”, I’m not even sure I’m even here anymore. But as long as she needs me I’ll be here. As long as I’m useful. As long as there’s someone i could help even if they don’t want me to...

So yeah I’ll answer dad’s texts... And I’ll text jokes and help my sister find her favorite movie, and I’ll go on long walks with mom and but chocolate covered almods for her because that’s what makes her smile.

But damn I wish i had someone to take care of my wounds too.
