Bonus awesome photo: Stop the match, Gary Cahill's hair needs a touch-up.
Brother: I’m pretty sure Eva's assistant was just fixing Cahill's hair.
Here's USA's Jermaine Jones hair from last night's snowy World Cup Qualifier against Costa Rica.
Sir Bobby’s Combover
Bobby Charlton scored 249 goals in 758 games for Manchester United. In the 17 years that it took for him to achieve those statistics, he won three First Division titles, the FA Cup and the European Cup, scoring twice in the final against Benfica and lifting the trophy as captain. He survived the Munich air disaster to win the World Cup with England at Wembley Stadium, and in 1994 received a knighthood.
He also cleverly disguised his baldness by flipping his hair over to one side of his head. He is a truly remarkable man.
GIF by Matheus, the man behind 8-bit Football. Words by Max Grieve.
YES. 8-bit hair.
I know Georgios Samaras has already been featured, but this was too good to pass up.
Here's Brazilian footballer Neymar. Sort of. Well, it's his wax figure. I love that the artists included his mall bangs and sort of faux hawk.
Bonus hilarious photo: The greatest hair combination at the FIFA Ballon d’Or gala: Miroslav Stoch and Carlos Valderrama.
Almost haircut enemies.
Hahahahahahaha
American Clint Dempsey who plays for Tottenham once had adorable indie rock hair. It's taking me back to 2003 and makes me want to find my legwarmers and listen to The Postal Service.
German footballer Marcel Schmelzer for Borussia Dortmund is sporting the rare dude double headband. I'm not sure if it's securing his hair or for making the girls at Urban Outfitters jealous - because he pulls the look off better than them.
Michael Ballack former German National Team captain and player for Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Bayer Leverkusen had some awkward hair times too. As much as I love him (and I do - I even wear #13 when I play) this down the middle with a mock turtleneck is another reminder that the 90's were a weird time for everyone.
Brazilian footballer Vagner Love for Flamengo had some seriously awesome blue hair in this picture. He changed his hair over the years, but what's rad that is his hair color of choice is also reflected in his player for the FIFA video games.
Ah, the last day of November or "Movember" for those participating. English footballer Michael Bridges who plays for the Newcastle Jets shows off his moustache (and puts everyone else's to shame).
Greek footballer Georgios Samaras for Celtic is sporting the combo: down the middle with a headband! Yes!
French footballer Bacary Sagna for Arsenal is another member of the Blondes Have More Fun club. Down the middle, but no headband. So close!
Watching the Ajax and Manchester Game and noticed Siem de Jong, because I thought he looked like Joel McHale (from "Community"). Further investigation showed that from a distance he totally does, but also Ajax captain went through that phase of parting his hair down the middle (with no headband, sorry). It reminds me of a guy I went to high school who had blonde hair and parted it down the middle, so we referred to his hairstyle as "The Golden Arches."
Watched the Arsenal and Schalke game this morning. Austrian Christian Fuchs caught my eye on Schalke. After a quick search, I found this picture. I saw another picture where he looked like Ryan Reynolds (which is delightful). I don't know what to say about these headbands. I wore them in 1998, but never after. I see a lot of footballers wearing them off the field. Maybe I'm missing out on something.
Caught some of the highlights of the Jamaica and Antigua and Barbuda highlights. I saw Quinton Griffith from Antigua on the national team with some bright hair. This picture was from a while ago, but it was still doing some good things. Tonight looked like was excited for Halloween - and I'm ok with that.
