hi, welcome to my new poll blog! inspired by blogs like @doyoulikethissong-poll and @haveyouheardthisband, I decided to make a blog dedicated to polls about how well-known and well-liked specific drag performers are on tumblr!
we are not here to judge your drag. drag is art, and art is subjective. I know people get heated about what they love, especially online, but please remember that I am, at the end of the day, just some guy. I am not the ultimate arbiter of drag as an artform, and I have other things to do than run this blog all day.
SOME GUIDELINES:
(these are subject to change as necessary!)
do not submit more than one artist per form!
you are allowed to submit drag kings and uncategorized performers as well as drag queens!
you are not only allowed but encouraged to submit performers who aren't from rupaul's drag race, as well as historical performers and local/indie performers---just keep in mind that my ability to implement your suggestion is based on how much information I can find about them online!
if you're unsure of whether or not a performer/historical figure counts as a drag performer, feel free to send me an ask about it.
that being said, I have a rather liberal definition of drag and probably WILL accept your submission if I think it's funny/interesting enough.
I cannot feasibly research all of these performers. my polls are intended to measure the popularity of these performers, not a statement on whether I endorse any of these people's actions
