Character Creation: Powers
All characters will have a certain set of powers at their disposal. Some will have more than others, while some will specialize to be stronger in a few. Keep in mind the number of points you have, and special cost cases.
General/Specialized Powers
These are common powers among Ecto-Beings, and most have some level of control in some number of them.
Base Cost: 1 PP (Liminals: 2)
Level Range: 0-3 (Primary Cores: 0-2, Blobs/Liminals: 0-1)
Level Cost: PP equal to the level per level
Special:
Primordial Cores start with Control Level 2 without paying.
Halfas start with Control Level 1 without paying.
A single blast of energy can be made before needing to rest, with approximate force of pepper spray.
Three or four blasts of energy can be made before needing to rest, with approximate force of an arrow.
Several blasts of energy can be made before needing to rest, with the approximate force of a gunshot.
Rest is rarely needed unless under unusually extended periods of blasting, with the approximate force of a mortar.

Special:
Primordial Cores start with Control Level 2 without paying.

Can create simple shapes which can withstand one or two light blows before shattering and require conscious focus to maintain.
Can create shapes with some detail, and shields which can withstand moderate blows before shattering. Some level of focus is needed to maintain, though more if construct is under attack.
Can create detailed shapes and shields, domes, or weapons which can withstand several blows before shattering. Only light focus is needed to maintain constructs not under direct force.
Can create complex shapes and large shields and shielding planes, which can withstand strong forces without shattering. Only light attention is needed to maintain the constructs, unless under strong and direct attack.

Special:

The being can lift small objects within a few meters of them and move them for a few seconds at a time.
The range of influence is extended to a few hundred meters, and objects that could otherwise easily be carried can be held or moved for a couple minutes at a time before rest is needed.
Objects within the range of a kilometer may be moved, and up to the size of a car.
Objects the size of a house can be moved as far as line of sight, and held for up to several hours if needed.
Base Cost: 3 PP (Halfas: 2 PP)

Level Cost: PP equal to the level per level
One duplicate can be created (total forms 2), and persist for up to five minutes, so long as no concentration interruptions occur.
Two duplicates can be created (total 3), and persist for up to fifteen minutes, so long as no concentration interruptions occur.
Four duplicates can be created (total 5), and persist for up to an hour, so long as no significant break in concentration occurs.
Seven duplicates can be created (total 8), and persist for a day, so long as the being gives some attention to maintaining them. A greater number of lower-quality duplicates can be made

The being can teleport a few feet at a time, and can only do this once or twice before needing to rest.
The being can teleport several meters away, and can do this a few times before needed to rest.
The being can teleport several kilometers at a time, and can do so several times before needing to rest.
The being can teleport several hundred kilometers at a time, and only needs to rest if doing so particularly often.
Portal Creation/Dimension Crossing
Base Cost: 7 PP (Primordials: 5 PP)
Level Range: 0-3 (Primary Cores: 0-1)
Level Cost: PP equal to level per level
Identifying the location for a portal takes several minutes, and the portal only lasts for a few seconds before collapsing. The being is significantly drained and needs to rest after opening a single portal.

The being has one other form they can switch between. Their forms can be shifted between a couple times before needing to rest.
The being may have up to two alternate forms they can switch between a few times before resting, or one additional form they can switch between many times before resting.
The being may have several forms they can switch between several times before needing to rest.
The being’s form is highly mutable and they aren’t limited to a specific number. They can shift several times before needing to rest, and don’t need to rest long before they can shapeshift again.
