"Don’t usually even try. As long as it doesn’t break any laws." He realized he’d drifted off for a moment when Bridget turned and ordered her coffee. Doctors really shouldn’t be allowed to look like her. Because she was damn gorgeous. It didn’t seem fair in a way. He raised his eyebrows and said, "You really didn’t have to do that." He took the card and then placed his bottle of water on the counter with the simple order, "Large coffee black." Before turning back and saying, "I owe you a coffee at the very least."
"Sometimes it's fun breaking certain laws." Bridget was only speaking of minor ones that wouldn't lead to much trouble, but the rush that came with attempting left her adrenaline pumping. "I know I don't have to, but I want to." She smiled up at him and after he was done ordering she paid the woman, taking her coffee and food. "How about you owe me something stronger than coffee?"
