remembered these doodles of chars from my 98% og writing 2% Storm hawks/Bionicle fanfic story XD

haven't done anything with it for a year and want to get back into it on the side again

my mediocre attempt at sketching a night fury...kinda sorta vent art ig.

due to a combo of a recent rejection and that even tho i've been posting online for 20 years, i can't manage to even get commissions. if i was any good i feel like by now, i really should be able to get those. at most i've gotten scammers asking for comms, but never a real person.

Thought I was at least good at drawing dragons...and that i've gotten better at art over the years. lately doesn't feel much like it though, i can't even get many notes lately on things i spent weeks working on.

posting this on a side blog because i'd rather not have this vent on my main.

I really should give this character some love.

In essence, this dude's named Rowan, and a encounter with a mystery artifact gives him the ability to shapeshift into the beast form here.

He can minorly alter this form further, but only in relatively minor ways-the base form is always the same (four limbs, tail, head)

I should really work a little on the next chapter of his fic - original work. (Mystic Association: Ahuzotl on ao3)

so this is a re-upload from my Deviantart, in which I aim to explore what it would look like if Bionicle-verse creatures - in this case, Bohrok - evolved to be truly biomechanical.

(doing this partly because I want to. And partly to see how active the Bionicle fans are here.)
