Send š¤ and I will write more about an NPC in my museās life.
It was another late night. He stepped through the doorway to her estate, careful to remove his shoes first. She hated it when he tracked mud and grime through the building and got it all over the floor, and tonight the last thing he wanted to do was irritate her when both of them were tired.
So. Weāre fine. The world is insane right now and Iām still not sure Iām not still in the coma??
detectiveastroā:
Rosie looked up and grinned her little baby-toothy smile at the sound. She giggled in amusement, then put the wad of grass she had collected to her mouth in imitation, though no sound was produced.
He couldnāt help but smile at this, finding her copying him absolutely adorable.Ā

āItās good to have a love for the outdoors.ā He nodded.Ā āOnce sheās old enough we should absolutely take her camping and hiking.ā
āI couldnāt agree more,ā Adrien grinned. āI think sheād like that. As would I.ā
He smiled a bit.Ā āIām glad Iāve found myself a family that loves the outdoors as much as I do.ā
āWell, I may have more time on my hands now. I havenāt been on a good hike in several years.ā
Adrien blush slightly at Demarcusā designation of family. He could hardly contain his delight. He looked at Rosie, who looked up at the two men with a wide, toothy little grin.
Demarcus looked back down at Rosie and took a seat next to her in the grass.Ā āAre you enjoying yourself, Rositsa?ā
Rosie nodded her head, still smiling. āYes,ā her little voice stated matter-of-factly. She hadnāt been speaking for very long, but she had already picked up a few words. With that being said, she plopped herself down the grass to pluck some of the blades beside her.
He picked a larger, wide piece of grass and pulled his mask below his chin. āWatch this.ā He placed the blade between his thumbs, put it to his lips, and blew. It made a whistling sound.

š- A memory about one of their loved ones, happy or sad
Demarcus has only a few foggy memories of his mother.
He recalls a time when he walked huddled to her side through the streets of Athens, draped in a coat that was much too big in order to conceal his wings and scales. She had a hand firmly placed on his shoulder, to anchor him to her. The street was loud and crowded, but that one hand made him feel safe. It would be much later when he realized how bad things really were for them, but the memory still felt happy despite all that.
In the midst of the chaos, he looked up at his motherās face, world-worn and tired, but filled with love.
āS'agapó mitĆ©ra,ā he said in the hushed voice of a child.
His mother smiled and replied,Ā ā S'agapó, Demaraki.ā

He took a moment to look around, the smile reaching his eyes even when it couldnāt be seen with a mask on.Ā āItās quite lovely. Reminds me of some of the countrysides Iād explore in Europe.ā
Adrien hummed. Heād never been to Europe, but he could imagine the similarity. āI like how quiet it is. I mean, the real place isnāt this quiet, of course, but itās serene. I used to sit out here for hours.ā
āThatās the thing about this kind of magic. It leaves out a lot of the little details but gets the whole picture right, at least thatās how Miss Archer explained it.ā
āIt feels a lot like a dream,ā Adrien mused, looking around.
He nodded. Spending so much time in Miss Archerās own world he could find the giveaways a bit easier, but that didnāt take away any of the magic for him. He slowly reached for Adrienās hand now that Miss Archer had left the three of them to themselves.
Adrien noticed and took his hand, smiling softly. It had been a long while, and a lot had happened in the time they were apart.
Rosie pulled away to plop down on the ground and play with the grass and dirt around her, content as could be.
Demarcus smiled a bit more as Rosie started to play.Ā āSheās easy to entertain, isnāt she?ā
