with the new year rolling around both here in westeros and in real life, we admins have decided to bestow a task upon you all ! this task will be mandatory, so that means you must complete it for each of your characters. as we all know, namedays are the equivalents of birthdays in real life. according to the wiki, in the faith of the seven, newborns are named in a sept and anointed with the seven oils. ironborn children may be drowned on their nameday, honoring the drowned god.

for this task, we ask that you first, determine your characters' namedays – this way, we can start aging characters up as time passes in game. second, we ask that you elaborate on your characters' namedays in any way you'd like – whether it be describing traditions they partake in, describing how they do/do not fit their real life equivalent star sign, writing a blurb/self para of a special nameday they had, or even describing the conditions surrounding their birth. truly, the sky's the limit here ! go wild.

this task is due by the end of january, so everyone has plenty of time to work it out for each of your characters as soon as you are able.
