“You are, as always, very kind,” he replied with a genuine smile, one he rarely showed to anyone besides his fellow dragons. “I am sure I speak for both myself and Feldrurth when I say we appreciate your offer very much. Should you ever wish it, I am sure we could manage without you as well, at least for a few days. After everything that has happened, we all deserve a little vacation to ourselves.” 

“I think we should all gather together somewhere safe and have a feast for the ages, where no one can find or bother us.” She chuckled lightly at her wishful thinking how she hoped they could all retire somewhere but there was still much work to be done for the pair of them. “I thank Your Grace, it has indeed been stressful, but now we have peace though who knows how long that will be.”

Delphina let out a bright and bubbly giggle as she felt the woman’s arm lace into her own. Someone walked by with champagne flutes. Del picked one up and hummed. “Do you want one too?” She raised a brow. “Oh I forgot to tell you my name didn’t I? Sorry about that, I’m Delphina.” 

Xingshen helped herself to a glass as she holds it in the air to toast. “Delphina. What a beautiful name, I am Xingshen.” She introduced herself before taking a sip of the champagne.

“Ugh, you have like such a great body” Andie groaned at the dragon, leaning down to run her pierced tongue over the dragons nipple before taking it into her mouth and sucking firmly “Please….Let me focus on you” she whispered against her. 

Xingshen let out a soft purr as she leaned back in the seat, making herself more comfortable as she pulled the gorgon toward her, landing a kiss on her now exposed shoulder. “Do as you please..” she breathed.

The dragon gave a smirk as Xingshen threw the knife and it hit the target “You’re better than some of the others in this city thats for sure.” He mused “You need to work on your stance, if you plant your feet firmly and line up the shot you’ll do much better” He offered, only then giving a noise when she pressed her forehead against his- his eyes closing for a moment.

She poured her love and respect into the contact, keeping their heads pressed for a moment before she moved away, her smile still evident on her face. Xingshen followed his instruction, picking up another knife as she lined up for her next shot. “I’ll try it your way.”

“Mm, you read my mind…” she purred and only then gave a low purr in return before she then busied herself with pulling the other dragon along in the direction of her nesting area that others would simply call their bedroom. The red head undid her dress and allowed it to drop to the floor, without stopping n her tracks she simply stepped over it and continued to head in the direction of the bedroom- completely naked.

Xingshen letting out a delighted purr immediately followed her lead, stripping out of her own clothing, kicking the pile to the side, her naked figure now on display as she followed Feldrurth to the bedroom.

Chiara smiled widely when she saw Xingshen change into the dragon form. The mermaid smiled brightly and she clasped her webbed fingers together, her eyes full of happiness “Look at how beautiful you are!” She almost squealed at her, coming closer to the huge creature.

Xingshen bent down, bringing her blue snout to the mermaids level, brushing her hand gently as a token of affection, blowing small puffs of smoke which wisped around her, she watched the others reaction to her, finding it strange that the other wasn’t frightened of her.

Eldrit busied herself running a couple of errands, managing her time carefully while the meeting took place so she wouldn’t be late. She was back just in time to see the doors open and she stood to the side politely, waiting for the deputy to emerge. With a little smile, she went up to the other dragon and nodded. “Absolutely, madam deputy. We can go wherever you’d like.” She clasped her hands behind her back as she followed the Elder. “Did you have a fruitful meeting? Please do not hesitate to tell me if there’s anything I can do to be of service.”

Xingshen walked over to the younger dragon, pressing her head to hers in the tradtional greeting. Though she was a traitor, she was going to give her the same respect she would give to any members of her kind. Pulling away, she offers her arm to her. “This way.” She gestured as she began to walk. “So tell me Eldrit, do you prefer the human tongue or do you remember the tongue of our ancestors?” Xingshen asked formally.

“It is rather difficult to betray the Master that gives me all of my powers.” He looked down at his hands, wondering what kind of being he would be without his gifts. It was all he knew and while there were moments where seeds of doubt had caused him to question why he persisted in a duty that never seemed to pay off, those thoughts were as fleeting as the tides. “Losing my wings would be akin to losing my family and home. I am sure you understand that sentiment.”

Xingshen nodded, she could not imagine what her life would be like if she could not fly or transform into her dragon form. In her human form, she felt less connected with the world and unlike her true self. “Of course, I understand completely, I would be lost if  I could not transform and take to the skies. When I am like this, I feel naked.” She chuckled lightly.

At Xingshen’s offer, Yongyi chuckled. “I did consider it, but you know me. The only orders I obey are from,” he pointed up to the ceiling. “While I appreciate your trust, old friend, I am not sure I will make a good soldier for you.” Good soldiers were loyal and followed orders and rules without question. Yongyi lived beyond the mortal realm and wasn’t as restricted by the city’s rules in the same way.  If God asked him to break the laws, he would do so without question. Friend or not, there was no guaranteeing they wouldn’t be on opposite ends of the battlefield. They were both mature and experienced enough to know that it was a consequence of not being their own masters.

Xingshen chuckled at her friends response, always wondering how one creature could be so loyal to one almighty being. Dragons believed in no gods, to them they were the almighty being. “Of course, I understand that my friend. I would not expect you to betray your.. master above.” She paused, smiling at him. She did not know what she would do if they found themselves on opposite ends of the battlefield, she did not think she would be able to kill one of her oldest friends.

“Well, you’re someone that I care for and greatly respect” She purred, turning to cup the other dragons cheek, giving a reassuring little purr at her. “I want you to view the city as home here with myself and the others, you’re so wanted” she murmured, pulling her inside with her. “Shall we have a drink before we retire for the night?”

Xingshen closed her eyes, a soft purr leaving her lips as the dragon Queen cupped her cheek before pulling her inside. “That sounds perfect, should we make ourselves comfortable?” She asked as she looked around the beautifully decorated room.

Magnus gave a bright smile when he saw the older dragon and came over to her “I wouldn’t dream of it Xingshen, you know I admire you way too much to do something like that” He mused, giving a low chuckle at her. “It’s good to see you out and about” He mused, then offering her a knife “My lady, would you care to join me?”

Xingshen grinned as she reached for the knife, throwing in her hand as she looked over at the target before throwing the knife, the knife hitting the outer ring of the target. “Damn, not as good as you my friend.” She mused as she walked over to him, pressing her head to his in greeting.

He returned her greeting, pressing his own forehead against hers with a gentle touch. “I had no doubts that you would handle things, yes. You are very capable, and we are lucky to have you.” While the city would still stand without her, it would surely not look the same. “I am well. Tired,” he admitted. “But I suppose that can be said for all of us, after everything that has happened recently. I have been thinking of taking a short holiday from my duties here on the council, spend some time with Feldrurth. It would do me well, I think.”

Xingshen nodded in response. Though she was closer to his mate, Xingshen still held a great respect for Kain and though any death of a council member was terrible, she was grateful that no dragon had been harmed.. yet. “I think you definitely both deserve it. I am sure they can manage without the pair of you for a couple days. I am happy to help where needed as well of course.”

Delphina watched the machines as well. Her smile growing even wider as she turned back to the other woman. She noticed how her eyes seemed to sparkle as well. “Should we go try them?” She offered extending her hand to the other hopeful she would agree. It looked like fun, and Delphina always enjoyed company. Especially at a party. 

Xingshen laced her arm through the young womans motioning for her to lead the way toward the noisy machines. Xingshen was curious to see how they worked and how one acquires the riches contained within. “Lead the way my dear. It looks fun.”

“You should allow me to see your dragon form more often, I’m sure that I would be filled with a wave of muse upon seeing it?” Chiara hummed, her tone naturally flirtatious as she spoke- afterall she’d admired Xingshen for so long, it had been difficult not to fantasize. 

Xingshen smiled at the other, moving back from her. “Ask and you shall receive” She said briefly before bursting into her dragon form, her blue scales, standing out among the reds on her body. She moved her snout toward the other, bending down to the others level, her deep blue eyes looking back at the other.

Andie felt her confidence waver at the strength and energy of the dragon. Yet it was a feeling that excited her. “Hey, I’m all about not waiting” she reassured and immediately came came closer to carefully smooth her hands up the woman, her hidden eyes fixed to the woman’s chest when the shirt was unbuttoned. Andie felt her excitement build and her nails only became claw like as she moved to boldly cup Xingshens breasts.

Xingshen’s scales began to show as she leaned back in the chair, watching the other take her breasts in her hands. A soft moan escaped her lips, as she reached forward, clawing at the others clothing with her own hands.

Eldrit couldn’t help the proud little smile that crossed her lips at the deputy’s comment on her name, “Thank you, Miss.” The invitation took her by surprise and the sand dragon’s blinked in confusion as she processed the other’s words. “Oh. Oh, I’d be absolutely honored, madame deputy. I will just take my break and be free to accompany you.” She followed the Elder to the meeting room’s door and gave her a bashful smile. “Likewise, Miss. It would be my pleasure. I will be right here as soon as your meeting concludes and not a minute after.” She promised, unable to keep the excitement from her voice.

The meeting passed with a bore, the dragons mind clearly elsewhere as she tapped her fingers impatiently against the table, waiting for the meeting to finish. At its conclusion, she rose from her seat immediately, exchanging polite pleasantries before departing the room. As she stepped out, she saw the younger dragon waiting for her, seeing that she was true to her word. Approaching the other, she moves beside her, watching the other council members depart. “The meeting is done, now the rest of my afternoon is free. Shall we go? I have a favourite café nearby that I like to frequent.”

“Oh yeah she’d totally lose it probably, but who cares. I’m hot, you’re hot. It makes sense that we hang” she purred, trying not to get herself over excited. “Hey, I am down for having sex in your car. I am not at all above that…” she gasped, coming closer to the dragon “But we can always continue stuff at the house too…” she hummed out.

Xingshen reached out, wrapping her arm around the young gorgon, pulling her close as they reached the limo, the driver opening the door for the pair. Xingshen slid across the seat, leaning back on the seat, unbuttoning the top button of her shirt. “Of course, I just don’t feel like waiting and I am sure we will have the stamina to go again when we get to my manor.”
