pleeease as a kin who has VERY high kins and likes to be referred to as them/thought of as them, do NOT treat most kins as just their source. It can be incredibly dehumanizing and can also cause extreme dysphoria if they’re not like their source.

Treat kins like real people first and foremost, not just the fictional characters we are.

No, like literally this ESPECIALLY for my canon divergent ones it’s so heartbreaking when people talk about a popular ship relating to me that isn’t true AT ALL for me.

I've been listening to the mechanisms recently and it made me think.

What will happen to Ortho when everyone he knows and loves passes away?

Will he take over guiding STYX like some weird robot patron?

Will he do the Lilia thing and travel around and learn new things to fill that void?

Will he settle down somewhere and just dissappear from public life?

Or will he just decide to stop pretending? After all, he was never real to begin with. He was just a robot made to look and behave like Idia's dead brother.

Fictionkin is weird sometimes

Like I’m specifically the Puppetmon from the first season. I remember Metalseadramon and Apocalypsemon. Me wanting “friends” was my whole reason for joining them. Why Apocalypsemon just took me as a little Tanemon and forcefully digivolved me into a Puppetmon.

But I also remember being reborn in the daycare area and finding a tamer for me??? I only remember she was a toy maker and I hardly went into a rookie, champion or ultimate form. Which I don’t remember at all rn.

How did I get a happy ending that doesn’t make any sense!!!! I was EVIL I WANNA BE EVIL WHY IS THIS WOMAN MY TAMER HOW DID SHE FIND ME WHO IS SHE WHAT ARE MY OTHER DIGIVOLUTIONS WHAT SHOULD I DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
