When your padâs on crooked but you donât realize it until after you leave a public bathroom
4 simple steps to a believable cast.
At the heart of every novel, short story or fanfiction are the characters. Whether they be good guys, bad guys, major, minor, based on real people, works of fiction, background, foreground or anything in between- your characters make up your writing and knowing them, inside and out, is the key to making them believable.Â
1. Looks.
While it may seem obvious the look of your character is vital to how he, she or they are envisioned by the reader. If the character does not have a particular look in your mind then it will be ever more difficult for the reader to imagine them as being real people. Think about it, no matter how hard you try you cannot imagine a person without a face and that is exactly the principle we are putting into play here.Â
Iâm not saying you have to describe every single character in detail for the reader to get it, not at all. Iâm saying YOU have to know how they look, every detail, right down to a little scar on their right hip or a mole on theirâŠnevermind. This is also vital for knowing your character, inside and out, which will later help in their development. If you know the superficial details then it will become easier to know the deeper ones.Â
However, when it comes down to it, these characters are, for all intents and purposes, real people and every person is flawed in some way. Nobody has flawless skin, flawless hair and a flawless body unless they have been Photoshopped and, unfortunately you cannot Photoshop real life. (unless your piece is set in a time when real-life Photoshopping is a thing that can happen- in which case, you can). Try to bear this in mind when creating a character, everybody has insecurities and this includes the people you create.
Hint: If youâre finding it difficult then think of an actor who you would like to play your character were it a film, then try to describe them. This will aid in describing real people and may help the reader imagine them.Â
2. Interests.
Everybody has interests and if you donât then Tumblr is probably not the place for you. Whether it be writing, singing, dancing, fashion, gaming, reading, fitness, music, cheekbones with legs on the BBC, gardening, interior decorating, just lounging around in your pants watching RSPCA Animal rescue (cough cough) or anything in between, we all have something that occupies our time and the same goes for your characters.Â
In order for your characters to even seem remotely real and believable they have to have things to do when theyâre not saving the world/ wiping out humanity, just like any other normal person would. For example I know someone whoâs novel features a Vampire who enjoys playing Tetris in his spare time. Interests make your character three dimensional they make them real to you as well as the reader. If you canât imagine a character in their spare time, or envision them living their day to day lives outside of the novel then the characters are not strong enough yet and need more work before they can be placed in the scenario of your choice.Â
Once again, you donât need to explain every iota of this to the reader, or even write much of it down. If its there, and you know its there, then not only will the reader pick up on that but it will be much easier to write the character into the story.Â
Note: It is worth noting here that the character should have interests relevant to them. Its no use giving a character born in the underclass of society an interest in fine cuisine or a collection of rare gemstones, interests should come with the character and time, age and social status should be noted when writing.Â
3. Motives.Â
Why did the chicken cross the road?Â
Lets face it: the answer is never to âjust get to the other sideâ and if it is then that is a really badly written chicken. Why does he want to get to the other side? whats over there for him? why does this chicken even grasp the concept of roads?Â
Okay, so that may seem a bit of a stupid time to have an existential crisis over a chicken but my point still stands: Nobody ever just does things for no reason and the same goes for your characters. In order to make them believable then you need to know why they are doing what they are doing? Why is your protagonist the one to step up and defeat the villain? Are they getting paid, or just the only one brave enough? Are they trying to impress someone, or just rise above what they have been labelled as? Is your antagonist trying to blow up the world for fun or do they believe in a greater good? Do they just not like your protagonist and would much rather see his head on a spike in their front lawn?Â
These are all questions you need to ask yourself before you write your characters into the plot of your story. Why are they doing what they are doing and what are they getting out of it? If a character has no motivation then they will fall flat and confuse the readers. Out of everything so far the motive of the character is the only one I advise you completely narrate throughout the story. Maybe not all at once, maybe not clearly but at least leave clues and hints as to why, let your readers have to turn back pages and go âOH, SO THATâS WHY THEY DID THATâ and help yourself feel like a cryptic genius.Â
Note: If they are completely insane and just doing what they are doing for a laugh this still counts a motive. They may not see sense or reason but âdoing it for funâ is still a motive for doing something and it should still be documented that this is their reasoning.Â
4. Other little bits and bobs.Â
As we all know, real people are not built up solely on looks, interests and motives or else science would be well on their way to getting me that robot butler, but its these three things which are the core of any believable character.Â
These are the roots to making them seem real but there are other things you need to consider to make them live and breathe as you write them. As writing down every single detail would take forever and make this post go on forever, I have decided to give you a checklist of questions to answer when writing your character (Not all of these will apply to your writing so just answer the ones that do). These are just a few, feel free to add your own and go into as much detail as you want: the more detailed the character the more deep the character.
Where do your characters work when theyâre not saving the world/ destroying it? Whats their main source of income? Why do they work there? Do they enjoy it? Why?
Where do your characters live? Is it a nice neighborhood or a run down apartment? Why?Â
What are the names of your characters parents? (Remember, these are real people too with lives they have lived, remember that while writing them) Why did they give your character the name they have?Â
If your character was not born to mortal parents, how did they come about? Where did they come from? What is their purpose?
If your character has a mythical ailment (eg. Vampirism, Lycanothropy) how did they get it? Who turned them? How old are they? How have they adjusted to life?Â
Where do your characters come from? Do they still live there? Why did they move?/ Why did they stay?
Does your character dye their hair? Why? Where do they get the dye from? How do they afford it?Â
Where is your characters favourite place to go? Why?Â
How many relationships has your character had? Why did they end? Do they miss them?Â
Is your character allergic to anything? How have they coped if they are? How severe is the allergy?Â
Remember, these are just basic questions to help you round off your character. I hope this helps you create a cast both you and your readers fall in love with.Â
Love,Â

Next step on your path spread
This spread will help you move forward along your path by showing you the next step you will take. It will also show you what is going to hold you back, and what is going to push you forward. The spread can help you in introspection of your path, and is a good tool to find out where it will lead you next.
1) What does the next step on your path focus upon?
2) What is going to push you forward?
3) What is going to hold you back?
4) What will you learn from all this?
The beginner witch's starter spell kit
So I know most of you just starting off feel pressured to go and get a load of equipment to use in spells, and while I still believe itâs not strictly necessary to have spell ingredients and tools and words and intent alone are enough to suffice, I can understand wanting stuff to make you feel more witchy and to help you visualise stuff better etc.
So here are the bare basic things I recommend đ
đđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
âš a quartz crystal
Why?
- Because they are self cleansing - you never need to spiritually cleanse them
- because they are neutral - you can charge them with any intent you want and they will be able to carry them
- they can be used to cleanse - use it to cleanse yourself, use it to cleanse any other items you have
- they help transmit energy - perfect for helping you send energy to something or someone else
- they receive energy - perfect for channeling energy
- they amplify energy - use them to increase the power of anything else you are using in your magic
- cheap af
- completely innocuous - no oneâs gonna look at it and think you must be a witch
Where?
Like literally fucking anywhere - go into a gift shop and you can probably find a Quartz crystal even if itâs on the end of a keyring or if itâs part of a gemstone chip bracelet, sometimes in the gift section of bookshops, in the birth stone section of a card shop, in most seaside gift shops, in museum gift shops, as a free gift on the front of a mind, body, spirit magazineâŠ.
đđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
âš a feather
Why?
- itâs free af
- depending on the bird it can represent different things - Google bird meanings and omens etc
- represents the element of air
- use in cleansing spells by wafting around (yup. Simple as that - think feather dusters - cleansing!)
- comes from birds - birds fly- use in astral travel spells. Birds nest - use in home spells. Birds are free to roam where they want - use in freedom / release spells⊠Pretty damn versatile if you ask me!
- bonus - pretty, soft, fluffy
Where?
Literally walk out your front door, thereâs probably one waiting for you right there. If not, try the back door.
đđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
âš a stone
Why?
- again, free af
- represents earth element
- comes from ground and therefore can help you in grounding spells
- the phrase âsolid as a rock?â - use in spells that help you stabilise and settle down in life
- what can stones be used for? Building bridges, paths and buildings - use in spells that help you cross metaphorical bridges, that help you find your path, to help you lay foundations etc
Where?
Again, literally anywhere
đđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
⚠water (including some sort of bowl, jar, bottle, whatever⊠To hold said water)
Why?
- free
- represents water element
- use in cleansing spells
- water represents emotions - use in any spell that deals with emotions
- still water is calming, use in calming spells
- bonus - research different types of water and how to use in witchcraft because sea water, rain water etc can all be used for different things but as a standard simply use tap water
Where
- sea - collect rain - river - the tap????
đđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
âš a battery operated tea light candle
Why?
- discreet and small - easy to hide away if necessary
- no need for lighter or matches
- safe af
- lasts longer than a real candle
- represents fire
- usually really cheap for a multipack
- most come with realistic flicker effect
- can get in different colours so can be used as an alternative to spell candles
- bonus - if youâre willing to spend a little more you can now get them in the style of church candles or taper candles and some of them have a sensor on them which lets you âblow them outâ
- can be used for enlightening spells, passion, energising or any kind of candle spell
- nice to look at when meditating
- looks great in a candle holder
- safe to use as markers for you circle if you want to work within one and wonât matter if youâre clumsy af like me and knock it over
Where?
DIY stores, home stores, gift shops, clothes shops with home sections⊠Practically EVERYWHERE at Christmas⊠Most likely a pound / thrift store?
đđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
đž Can I just point out you now have an item to represent all of the elements? How fricking awesome is that?? You can use any kind of elemental spell now! Yay!đž
đđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
âš salt
Why?
- use in protection spells
- use to cleanse
- cheap
- use in your bath to soothe sore, aching muscles, or to soften dry skin or hard nails
Where?
- any food shop
- most likely your kitchen
đđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
âš black pepper (corns or ground)
Why?
- great for binding spells
- use to absorb negativity
- cheap af
Where?
Again, food store or probably already in your kitchen
đđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
âš a notebook
Why?
- to jot down spells, your research, correspondences etc
Where?
Pretty much anywhere. You donât need to spend a lot of money on it. Chances are after practicing for a little while youâll settle down more into your own personal craft and realise a lot of the stuff you wrote down wonât be relevant to you and your beliefs any more and then by that point you will have been able to save up for a nice new fancy one and you can copy over the stuff you want to keep đ
Take it from me, there is literally no point in spending loads of money on your first spell book, you will definitely out grow it.
đđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
âš either a cheap multi-pack of different coloured cotton reels or ribbon
- use for string / ribbon magic (a very easy form of magic for beginners)
- use in binding spells
Where?
You could go to a craft shop but honestly, just go to your local pound / thrift shop or market to pick one up for ÂŁ1. Craft shops will no doubt charge you more than you have to pay
đđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
âš some form of tiny draw string cloth pouch or the fabric to make one
Why?
- use for making charm bags with
Where?
if youâre lucky you might be given one when you buy your Quartz crystal - people usually put crystals in little drawstring pouches, a lot of jewellery from eBay come in them too
đđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
So there you have it!
At the very most all youâll be buying is a notebook, salt and pepper if you donât already have it, a Quartz crystal, some cotton, a battery tea light and a tiny bag.
You should easy be able to get that for under ÂŁ10 especially if you buy everything you can from a pound store!
If you want to start practicing divination, you could always get a pack of playing cards from there too and learn how to divine using them - that knowledge is only a Google search away!
How easy (and cheap) was that?
Youâll probably find that as you go on, the longer you practice youâll probably add to your collection over time and then youâll start making the occasional bigger purchase as a treat, you might want to buy some tarot cards for exampleâŠ
But this should be more than enough to start you off! đ
And you can keep them all hidden in a little box under your bed and no one needs to know anything about it if you donât want them too đ

- gemstone chip bracelets (you can break the bracelet and use them as individual stones- even better if you happen to find something like a chakra bracelet with more than one type of stone!)
- hair (use as a tag lock of the person youâre casting the spell on, could even be your own if you want to making a healing poppet for yourself)
- photo of someone (to direct a spell to that person)
- an item that belongs to the person youâre casting the spell for/on
- key or a ring you already own on a necklace chain or piece of string (free pendulum!!!)
- playing cards (can be used for divination)
- herbal tea bags (can either steep in water for a potion or open tea bag and use contents dry. Get a multipack with different sorts in it!!)
- imagination and intuition!! (go with the flow and donât solely rely on things youâve heard other people using in their craft or the strict âofficialâ correspondences- apply your own meanings to everyday items- whatever those items represent to you personally, is how you can use it in your craft- everyoneâs craft is personal and practicing using your own imagination and intuition helps you develop more as a witch and will eventually lead to you relying less on books and other people. Let your own magic shine through!!)
*** feel free to add to this list if you have anything to add!! ***

Ever wonder how big wolves are and why running from them is a really bad idea?
This had me so fucked up the first time I worked at the zoo. Because honestly they just look like big German-Huskies when theyâre not wild. They look like big puppies. And then⊠they get close to you⊠And itâs suddenly kinda fucking terrifying. Like âoh this is the animal that used to scare people shitless.â âThis is the animal that used to run through nightmares and poems so much.â And you suddenly fucking get it. As cool as these animals are far away, as important as the animals are in their natural environment, as much as we need them to survive⊠theyâre still pretty fucking terrifyingÂ
can you believe these things became our friends
And then people domesticated them and now sleep with them in their beds.
Weâre not a species meant to last
Iâd actually argue the opposite!
We took these super efficient killing machines and befriended them and now they love and protect us as much as we (ideally) love and protect them
Cats basically domesticated themselves so that they could share in our food, medical care, and affection
In urban spaces, prey species know that thereâs a higher likelihood that humans will help you if youâre stuck or injured than them killing or maiming you
Itâs just, over time we see trends of our species overcoming environmental pressures that would and do lead to extinction in other species by sharing and forming close bonds with other sentient organisms and just kinda⊠aggressively community-bonding our way out of it?
For a long time thereâs been this pervading idea that we, as a species, are just innately violent and terrible and âsinfulâ and itâs been that violence that let us survive (see the hunting hypothesis of human evolution). But thatâs not what we see
We are, at our core, a species that looks into the face of something other, and thinks âI wonder if they want to be friends?â so long as the individual isnât actively trying to kill us. Sure, tons of people do awful things every day, but for every terrible act or thought on this Earth, there are a dozen acts of kindness that people do casually for complete strangers
So yeah. We looked at these massive fluffy monsters with the sharp claws and crushing jaws rooting in our garbage just beyond the campfire and thought, the way no other species before or after us has done to the same extent; âThey look friend-shaped!â
And they were. And that is how we got to be the dominant species on this planet
âThey look friend-shaped!â
I wonder if dogs bark in their head
REBLOG TO BE IN THE COVENđ
To all witches that follow me, please reblog this if you wish to be in a network with yours truly and whoever is interested! Iâve decided to make a sort of online coven, everyone is welcome! Itâs an eclectic network with the intention of learning off each other, so this means it DOESNT MATTER if you are Wiccan, Christian, a chaos witch or an earth angel; the more variety, the more knowledge to share! Blessed Be Iona
ITâS HAPPENING! I finally have access to a computer for the first time in an eon, so iâm currently adding everyone to the coven! You will all need to check the email address you have used for your tumblr to find the link to join the network, as Iâll be putting in your urls! Iâm really really excited to get to know u all :)
ok i think i emailed everyone, if you didnât get a link, send me a message and Iâll give you another one!
it is pretty hard to find solid statistics on wolf attacks, but as far as i can tell, wolves in north america kill way way way less than one person a year, which means that forces more deadly to us than wolves include: dogs, ice fishing, and getting crushed by a falling flat screen tv.
âŠfurther complications to trying to write non-ridiculous angst into a werewolf story
âyou donât understandâŠiâve done things under the full moon that i can never take backâŠone time i ate a squirrelâ
âI SNIFFED MY OWN BUTT. THE INDIGNITY HAUNTS ME STILL.â
âi have pooped in the woods and now must go brood about it. donât try to follow me.Â
âŠand seriously, be careful around your flatscreen, it is probably heavier that you think.â
European wolves (before they were hunted into extinction in most areas) attacked humans purposefully a lot; itâs in the historical record.
North American gray wolves have a natural fear of humans and attack people very rarely, really only when threatened or starving.
So like, imagine, like, a divide between people who got infected with Old World and New World lycanthropy. One makes you this dangerous beast that sees humans as a viable food source an another makes you perceive humans as a threat. Imagine people getting it wrong!
Some shady paranormal group capturing a werewolf to use as security but it just runs away when people trespass.
Some hunters go deep into the woods to murder a werewolf clan for their pelts but it turns out theyâve isolated themselves so deeply because they have the European strain and none of the hunters survive.
New werewolves are so confused because the websites give conflicting advice:Â get yourself to your nearest national park when youâre about to turn and just let yourself run free; if you try to cage yourself the claustrophobia and the smell of people will make you panic and you could really hurt yourself or someone else.
vs
If youâre anywhere near human civilization you must make sure you turn in a closed space that you canât escape from in wolf form or youâll definitely kill someone. Just try to take a nap during the full moon, OK.
And theyâre like, WHAT DO I DO WHICH ONE DO I HAVE?
updated position: at the end of the day, there are, in fact, a number of possible compelling werewolf problems.Â
case in point, the global werewolf cultural divide!
on the subject of the global werewolf cultural divide, another update, per wikipedia:
Wolves from different geographic locations may howl in different fashions: the howls of European wolves are much more protracted and melodious than those of North American wolves, whose howls are louder and have a stronger emphasis on the first syllable. The two are however mutually intelligible, as North American wolves have been recorded to respond to European-style howls made by biologists (x)
thatâs right guys: wolves have accents

âYou Cannot Touch Herâ Curse/Binding
This curse is particularly for people who have done harm in the past, and as such already known to be a potential threat. The idea is to keep the person from speaking to or approaching the one youâre trying to protect, and to make them feel watched and judged for their past actions.
You will need the following:
A jar big enough to hold a poppet
Some kind of poppet - I used a wooden one with the offenderâs name written on the bottom. A photo could also be used
White out
A black candle
A mixture of black salt & cayenne pepper
A sigil of your own design meaning âYou cannot touch [name or pronoun]â
A permanent marker
Light the candle and white out the mouth of your poppet. Roll the poppet in the mixture of black salt and cayenne pepper (black salt tends to stain so keep this in mind). Place it in the jar and seal the lid, leaving the poppet inside under the gaze of dozens of eyes. Write your sigil on the lid. During or after all of this, say the following aloud or think it to yourself (change pronouns accordingly):
You cannot touch her. You cannot speak to her. Think of her and bring this curse upon you. May your tongue catch in your throat if you dare to reach her. May you burn and ache if you come near. May you feel eyes upon your back each time you think her name. Theyâre watching. Iâm watching. May you forever question the gaze of others - Do they know the things youâve done? I do. I curse you. I bind you. You cannot touch her.
Stash the jar in a dark place, like a closet or a cabinet (I donât recommend burying jars). Let the candle burn until it extinguishes itself.
So I did a WP post on this, but wanted to post some images here of a political version of this curse jar, just in case it was relevant to anyoneâŠ
Some images of the jar and poppet style that I used:
If you want a copy of the poppet to print out and use for yourself, you can go to the WP post to grab that.
For the wording, I modified it to this:
You cannot touch the marginalized people in our country. You cannot hurt the marginalized people in our country. Think of them and bring this curse upon you. May your tongue catch in your throat if you dare to hurt the marginalized people in our country. May you burn and ache if you come near. May you feel eyes upon your back each time you think hurting anyone. Theyâre watching. Iâm watching. Weâre all watching. May you forever question the gaze of others â Do they know the things youâve done? I do. I curse you. I bind you. You cannot touch anyone.
The Domestic Garden Witch: Pocket-Sized Green Thumb
So maybe youâre a college witch with limited space and money, limited to the one window in your dorm. Or, maybe youâre a witch without extensive backyard space who wants to start up a magical garden. Perhaps youâre a kitchen witch who wants the freshest herbs right at her fingertips.
For many witches, having a garden seems to be a bit of a no-brainer. After all, plants and magic go hand-in-hand. Plus, when thinking of a witch, itâs hard not to think of a cottage in the woods with a little vegetable garden out front. Unfortunately for the majority of us, our cottage in the woods is a tiny flat, and our garden out front is a windowsill with limited space.
This is when it comes time to embrace your craftiness and bring your garden indoors! Not only does it place your garden in a convenient location, it also allows you to freshen the air, recycle what would otherwise harm the earth, and embrace your witchy green thumb!
An Excuse to Have More Wine!
Okay, so this is a cute and somewhat family oriented garden. It breaks away from the more meditation-oriented garden from last week, and strays away from the initial intensity of terrariums. But it sticks to the simplicity and ease of care that you would have with any succulents!
With midterms and various other tests plaguing our college witches, thereâs sure to be plenty of wine being consumed in order to ease that tension. (Or, if youâre like me, your excuse for having a lot of wine is the fact that you âcookâ with it.) Regardless, corks are often seen as nothing more than a tedious obstacle blocking your way to the delicious and happy-inducing fermented grape juice inside the bottle. Well, to most folks, anyway⊠Iâll leave the significance of corks in wine bottling to one of my kitchen witchery posts. So when all is said and done, many corks end up just being thrown away by the end of the night.
Succulents come in a range of shapes, colors, and sizes, from the massive saguaro to the tiny rock plants. But what makes them so easy to care for is the fact that often they can easily root from clippings and they require very little water in order to survive.
Corks, meanwhile, are great at maintaining low levels of moisture for extended periods of time, providing an ideal potting source for succulents. As such, it only makes sense to bring a bit of green into the home by using the corks as a pot!
You Know the DrillâŠ
All you need (aside from the wine) is a cork, a drill with two bits (a quarter inch bit and a smaller bit for making a leading hole), potting soil, a little bit of aquarium gravel, and some clippings from small succulents.
Using the smaller bit, drill a leading hole into the cork, being careful to avoid drilling all the way through it. Then, use the larger bit to widen the hole so as to turn your cork into a miniature pot. Add a little bit of potting soil, followed by your clipping. Add a little more soil and gently tamp it down to secure the clipping into place, and decorate with a little bit of aquarium gravel. Itâs as simple as that!
A common use for these plants is to glue a magnet to the back, allowing the succulents to serve as living refrigerator magnets. For me, I see these adorable little succulents being great gifts or even cute decorations for the small dorm room.
As Iâve mentioned, not much care is needed beyond watering every ten days or so. You can use a dropper to administer the water, or carefully use a small spoon to apply water.
How Can I Witch This?
Succulents vary greatly in their magickal uses. Jade plants are exceptional for inviting wealth into the home, whereas agave is great for attracting sweet and positive energies. Coordinate your plants with what your intent is. The cork itself can be decorated with runes, sigils, symbols, et cetera, or can even be studded with crystals!
If youâre going for the magnet idea, you can take a green spin on the concept of crystal grids, and instead create a succulent grid right there on your refrigerator, using the intent from the plants to attract the energies you want much in the same way as you would arrange crystals!
As mentioned before, these little plants make for great gifts, and therefore can be used as spells for others, as well. Aloe for healing, or jade for prosperity, et cetera.
If youâre trying to practice discreetly, these plants are a great way to do so!
And lastly, you can place crystals in the bottom of the hole youâve drilled to correspond to the intent of the plant or to encourage health for the plant. This is a great way to practice a little bit of garden witchery in a very small setting!
Play around and get creative with the different ways that you can work with these little succulents to brighten your dorm or window!
May your harvests always be bountiful!
Blessed Be! )O(
Drown In You Guilt Curse
Intention
This is not a little curse to do on someone who pissed you off this is a curse for someone close to you who had catastrophic effects on your life. someone who hurt you in so many ways that you will never be the same again. This curse is to project the suffering they caused you back onto them , it is fueled by anger and hate. In a sense this is a guilt curse .This curse is based in your own pain and suffering so it can not be sent back on you if the person also practices magick. They canât curse you with pain you already know.
What You NeedÂ
A poppet/doll made to look like the intended target.
A container or jar larger then the poppet/doll
Another container/jar preferably something biodegradable this container will need to be buried at some point)
Black paint or food coloring
A picture of the target , works better if its a picture of them before everything went bad. A picture of them when you still considered them a friend/whatever they were to you
A fire safe dishÂ
Lighter or matches
Red chalk/paint (Preferably something easily washed away)
A candle that is a color or scent that makes you happy. Or just use pink/white as a default.Â
Steps
Make your poppet. Make it as close to the personâs current appearance as you can. Button eyes the color of their eyes, yarn the color of their hair, cloth the color of their skin, ect ect . Put it to the side
Fill your first container with water and pour in some black paint/food color to tint the water black. Put this to the side
On your space or a piece of paper on your space draw/paint in red sigils for guilt, pain, suffering, whatever you feel matches your intention.
Take the picture and start to rip it into smaller and smaller pieces. With each rip say things like âYou will feel the pain you made me feelâ âyou will suffer as I have suffered â âthere will be no forgiveness for your actionsâ  âI will never recognize you as a friendâ âI will not look back and remember what you were, what we wereâ and so on and so forth, basically saying anything that you feel applies to the situation and the pain they caused you until you canât rip the picture anymore. Most of this process is to erase the memories that make you want them back, the memories that make you miss what you had and thatâs why you use a picture from before everything changed
During the picture ripening process allow your anger, hate, resentment, and bitterness to build up and give you power and energy.
Once youâve finished ripping up the picture light the remains on fire, this might take a few tries. Wait until the fire builds up and is at its peak.
Take the poppet/doll you made hold itâs face far enough above the fire so that itâs not burning yet and say anything along the lines of âi will never recognize any good in you, there will be no recognition or forgiveness because the pain you caused me outways the goodâ or anything you feel applies. Then lower the poppet/dolls face into the flames burning away your positive recognition. You will never recognize them as a friend/lover/whatever. Be careful about this part, donât brn yourself or set your house on fire.
Lift the doll/poppets face from the fire and slowly sink the entire doll/poppet into the container of black water. Saying âMay you drown in your guilt, drown in my painâ Toss the burnt pictures remains in the water was well . Let it sit in this container for as long as you feel necessary
Transfer the doll and most of the water to the second container (leaving some water in the first container and seal the lid. Make sure there is enough water in the container to leak out and wash away your sigils. Charging and activating them. If there isnât drip a little of the water on them yourself.
Place your hands on either side of the container or hold it in your hands. Begin to recall all the ways this person hurt you. With each memory visualize a black thread/rope/chain leaving your body and wrapping itself tightly around the container. Do this until your run out of negative memories.
Seal the contained with wax from the pink/white/what ever represents happiness to you candle. This is to seal the pain and hate they have caused in you with happiness. If the wax starts to char/get ash in it and the wax begins to turn black/grey itâs fine because this can represent your happiness being their misery.Â
Barry the container and pour the rest of the water from the first container on top of the spot. finally say âthis curse is final and can not be brokenâ It wonât make sure it will absolutely never be broken but it might help.
This is particularly sweet because that wolf almost undoubtedly didnât have a pack. He was lonely. And then he wasnât lonely: he had all the weird little squished stunted-development wolves and their weird bipedal not-wolves!

witch tip: use grain salt and dried lavender. Mix it on your mortar and whisper the protection spell of your choosing. When you have a fine powder, spread it on every corner of every room, the door and windows. This will bring peace, protection and clarity to your home.
