It's honestly a bit sad how much my week would improve with $100. I could get dog food and some extra proteins for meal planning! If someone insisted I had to use $20 of it for fun, I'd use it on a game expansion I've been drooling over but can't justify the expense when I had to scrounge my pennies for a bag of rice and a bottle of dish soap from the dollar store. (They were on sale! Only cost me $1 apiece. I actually cheered like a goober when I found out and proceeded to get a second bag of rice as well!)

Planning to hit food pantry this week. My sister ripped me a new one bc I've gone back to skipping meals to be sure everyone else gets enough to eat. *sigh* is it still self-harm if you are honestly doing it bc it would hurt you more to see a loved one go hungry?

The first night Bilbo camped with the company he very nearly said something about it, but, having no idea what dwarves are and thinking it might be rude, he kept the observation to himself and decided that dwarves must be some kind of fungus. Do you know how fun it is finding out what the weather was like in August-October a few years after the witch trials? No, seriously! I know what the weather was like- ACCORDING TO RECORDED DOCUMENTS- from CENTURIES before I was born in a state I'd never been to, and was able go use it to create a supporting backstory behind why my story's curse existed! Freakin AI could never make me as happy as researching obscure data!
