the she ra fandom is claiming to be so different to everyone else because we’re smaller or we hated the problems with vld and yet racism is at the very forefront of this fandom! we’ve got people whitewashing glimmer left and right, and bow constantly being shoved under the carpet in lieu of catradora, a ship of the two lightest characters.

and even then, catra herself evidently has darker skin (given it’s darker than adora’s in the art they share, and we are fully aware that adora is very white and pale) that is being played off as a light tan or is whitewashed completely when it’s easily considered a latine skin tone.

come ON people. live up to what you keep saying about the she ra fandom. nip your racism, subconscious or not, in the bud. you want to be different to other fandoms? act like it.

Do NOT REBLOG FROM REDKATHERINE. I don’t care how good of an artist she may be. She is a transphobe who has drawn gruesome images of boiling trans people alive, baking them into a pie, and this.
