As they approach the nearby houses, Zelda can see missing shingles and broken signposts strewn across the walkway.

"Oh, finally!" a familiar voice calls out as soon as the roar of the creek is behind them. A slender man wearing a shocking pink bandana waves lazily from beside the house on their left, and Zelda knows who he is without even having to ask. "I thought we were going to have to go looking for you!"
