Sorry, but if you really want to understand a topic or truly re-educate yourself, you really do have to get into longform content one way or another. There's no way around it. The stuff you need can't be summed up in a snappy 250 word answer.
youll also need to get used to sometimes having to look up vocabulary unbeknownst to you
The difference between "There used to be hot summers too,” and a climate crisis.
Look, we all know this is true. But there isn't a SOURCE for this, and the graph itself is basically illegible beyond "ooh colors". If we want to be good stewards of our informational resources, we need to cite our sources.
From a reverse image search, I found the website Show Your Stripes, run by the University of Reading in the UK, which is likely where the above graph originated. It provides temperature data for various regions of the world from approximately 1900-2025. For example, here are graphs for Canada, India, and Papua New Guinea:
All clearly show a sharp rise in temperature beginning around approximately the 1980s, which corresponds with the graph in OP's post. But now we know where this data came from, and we can verify its validity accordingly.
Ich mag ja an der DB, wie es uns alle gleich macht. Man sollte meinen, ein ICE Ticket zwischen den Wichtigen Städten Dieses Landes würde einen irgendwie pünktlich und mit Würde befördern, aber nein. Ein Armani-Anzug schützt vor Ungeplantem Gleiswechselkurzstreckensprint nicht.

2000s: Computers stopped screaming when we go online
2010s: We started screaming when we go online
2020s: We are always online. We are always screaming

One of the sassiest and most brutal things the German language does is use "noch" (still) as a prefix.
For instance, after the German national team's disgraceful exit from the World Cup this year, the news reported on how they arrived back in Germany with their "noch-Trainer"
(their "still-coach", or, in a better if more ungainly translation, "the guy who, as of the present moment, is still their coach... for now")

Maybe the cup needs a bit of time to rest and refill?
Maybe the cup needs to lock the fuck in???
