I wrote The 7 Minute Phone Call because email was slowing down real deals
I just released my latest book, The 7 Minute Phone Call.
I wrote it for one reason: I kept watching important conversations get buried inside long email threads. Deals stalled, timelines stretched, and people who actually wanted to move forward ended up misaligned because communication got slow and messy.
A short, structured phone call fixes that.
Not a 45-minute meeting. Not a rambling “quick chat.” A focused call that gets to the truth fast, clears confusion, and ends with one obvious next step.
If you want the official release announcement, it is here:
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/dr-connor-robertson-releases-latest-051000371.html
Why I believe in the 7-minute call
In real estate, hospitality, and business conversations, I have seen the same pattern again and again.
When something is unclear, email makes it worse.
You get five people copied. You get walls of text. You get delays. Then someone misreads tone, assumes intent, or stops responding because they are overwhelmed.
A short phone call changes the entire energy.
It brings the conversation back to reality. It gets answers in real time. It creates momentum.
What the book teaches
This is a practical framework, not a motivational book.
Inside, I break down how I run these calls so they stay short and productive:
How to prep before you dial so you do not waste the first three minutes getting oriented
What to focus on during the call so you do not drift into side stories
How to close the call with a clear next step so you never leave it as “let’s circle back”
The point is not to talk more.
The point is to communicate in a way that keeps deals moving without turning your calendar into chaos.
This is not a “close them on the call” method
This is not about pressure. It is not about tricks. It is not about scripts.
The goal of the 7 Minute Phone Call is clarity and forward motion.
When you get clear on what is true, what is needed, and what happens next, closing becomes the natural outcome later. The call is simply how you stop bleeding time and miscommunication right now.
