hi not a blorbo submission but instead a question! is it perisex-typical for the urethra to be right up against the hole? like its not inside but theres my urethra, and then immediately behind that is a small bump, and then immediately behind that is the hole. any diagram i see online has the urethra in the center which is like. not what i have. i think. god i dont know maybe it moved or something because i swear it was not that far back last time i looked lol

I believe that would be considered (vulvar) hypospadias!

If you're confused because "Well it *feels like* it's coming out the middle when I pee", same here and it turns out I have extra skin that the urine hits and deflects the stream anteriorly (forward). If your stream threatens to hit the rim of the toilet bowl, maybe needing you to angle your butt out to not do that especially if your thighs (and thus vulva) are spread out when voiding, you might have an Anteriorly-deflected Urinary Stream (ADUS) too.

i recently found out that i have vulvar hypospadias. and i was wondering is there a difference between vulvar hypospadias and vestibulovaginal hypospadias? or are they different terms for the same variation? is vulvar hypospadias when the urethra is lower than typical but vestibulovaginal hypospadias is when it’s touching or in the vaginal opening?

i’ve read a bit about ADUS and i have like the opposite problem??? it goes all the way backwards?

Vulvar hypospadias is a colloquial term for the various types of hypospadias that occur on people with vulvas. There are a few different names, according to one researcher it goes vestibular, vestibulovaginal, and then vaginal. Vestibular is the one where it's lower, while vestibulovaginal touches/borders the vaginal introitus, and vaginal is completely inside (PUGS).

I have heard of some people with ADUS having many different streams depending on how they're positioned, sometimes going all the way back or on their butt. However, I can very much imagine a way that the urethra is angled in such a way (due to, say, being slightly lowered or indented into the vaginal canal) that would cause it to shoot back. I don't have any term for this but I would be inclined to believe it stems from VH!

There’s a lot of single-family zoning in the center of our cities, and urban planners, civil society, and city leaders are questioning whether these zoning rules make sense. We’re missing dwellings that can house more people and are more affordable, such as duplexes, triplexes, and ADUs.

I don’t think tiny houses on wheels will soon become a widespread form of housing, because they aren’t yet permittable. But media coverage of them has helped to spur more interest in small housing in general. These factors are positioning ADUs to become a popular movement.

One great way cities can add density to neighborhoods is by permitting “accessory dwelling units,” sometimes known as “granny flats.” Right now they’re illegal most places, but they’re starting to catch on. When they are built, they are usually built where a detached garage would go, or as a second story over a garage.

hi I hope this isn't bad to ask you but would you happen to know anything about urethra placements and such regarding intersexuality? I'm pretty sure that I do have labial fusion in some way, but I've also kinda realized that I have a lot of trouble going to the bathroom. Like, even if I am fully on the seat I somehow end up with accidents where I end up peeing on the floor or on myself and I literally don't know why. my only thought could be the placement of my urethra is actually not proper, and it's either too low or too high that when I pee it doesn't come out correctly. I've honestly never gone to the gyno nor really stared at my bits before so I wouldn't even be able to tell. I don't need a diagram or anything crazy like that, just want to know if this sounds like some weird urethra placement via intersex variation. (and for some info, I'm under the impression I most likely have N/CAH)

Not a placement thing. This is called anteriorly-deflected urinary stream, or ADUS. TL;DR extra skin around the urethra that deflects your pee stream more forward and up. I've lived with it Forever so I know how to position myself subconsciously and have been lucky enough to previously live in houses that have large toilet bowls, but recently I too have accidentally pissed *over* the toilet seat and on my boxers.

But vulvar hypospadias is often associated with some hyperandrogenic variations like (N)CAH. However both of these can usually be seen if you find your urethral meatus (opening). I say usually but ADUS might not be immediately noticable (if at all?) and I could just be particularly observant, and if your meatus is just straight up inside your hole (called a persistent urogenital sinus by that point, but it's still technically on the hypospadias continuum) that *might* be a bit harder to visually catch lol.

Anyways I repeat my advice once more that applies to anyone who reads it, PLEASE become more comfortable looking at and touching Down There TM. Listen I get it you might think it's Gross and Icky you might have trauma related to it you might have this that and the other reason to be uncomfortable looking at your junk and butthole. But you need to try bare minimum, and you might need to try A Lot to get properly comfortable or even get the answers you want and that's okay— it took me multiple tries and many many pictures and videos to properly locate my urethra and see what that bitch looks like, learning how to move My Flesh around to properly visualize stuff AND how to manipulate the stream, etcetera. It is healthy to know your body, you will learn so much about yourself and it will help immensely in many aspects related to it.
