bringing this back because it's pride month and people are saying i'm trying to "divide the community." motherfucker everyone in the queer and trans communities shit on transfems all the time and you want me to act like there isn't already a division? no one gets to pretend like everything's okay when the people who are supposed to be our allies are transmisogynists. everyone is already biased against us. do you know how sickening it is to see random people in my fucking community so easily and readily go along with any accusation against transfems, no matter how absurd or unsubstantiated? do you know how sickening it is that the people i'm supposed to lean on are the ones painting us as predators and monsters and threats for no other reason than "the vibes were off"?

i'll stop being biased for transfems when there's no longer a need. i'll stop when people actually treat us like people and not some fucking underclass they unfortunately have to include. hell, it would be a leap forward for aspiring allies to even so much as acknowledge that we're treated this way, instead of living in a fantasy that we're doing just as well or unwell as anyone else. so long as the status quo continues, the community is already divided. try working with us instead of pretending we're making shit up if you want me to stop being a bitch about it.

i think we should talk about degendering more as a very real form of transphobia. you should not be calling a trans woman "they" when she's explained her pronouns to you. you should not be calling her a "person" instead of a woman. she's not too gnc, she's not too androgynous, you're not "confused" about her identity, you're degendering her. I fear we've gotten to a point we've forgotten the very basics of this movement is "trans women are women" and "trans men are men", and not just "trans people are someone who's pronouns you have to memorize so you don't offend them." you see her as a man in a dress and it pisses me off

The Unknown Gay Bank Robbers

Starting in 1986 two men committed a string of 26 bank robberies, amassing over half a million dollars in stolen cash during their three-year spree. Their crime spree was one of violence intertwined with a tender romance.

The two men would walk into a bank at separate times, one a few minutes after the other, the second man would pull a gun and fire a single shot into the ceiling to attract the attention of all the tellers and customers. The first man would then take charge of the situation and order everyone down on the floor, keeping them all at gunpoint while the second went to the bank teller.

After they had got the cash they came for, they would share a quick but passionate kiss, pictured above, as what police and case experts believe was a final goodbye, just in case one was killed by the police during their getaway. They would always do this, with security cameras catching the intimate moment before the two ran, often hand in hand, from the building.

The lovers were never caught, it’s believed that the two of them either died in an unrelated crime or moved on to other things as the laws surrounding bank robberies changed and sentences became longer.
