December New & Full Moons through Journaling
This December, like a celestial encore, gifts us two New Moons...again. Let’s explore the themes they bring to our stories and the call to scribe our dreams.
First New Moon: Sagittarius (November 30/December 1)
The New Moon in Sagittarius aligns with Mercury and its ruler, Jupiter, both retrograde. While retrogrades often invite reflection, the forward motion of the Sun and Moon meeting Mercury fosters fresh ideas, particularly when filtered through Jupiter’s expansive, albeit oppositional, lens. The key here? Flexibility in vision—plan big but hold room for adjustments.
Venus’s soft sextile to Neptune and trine to Uranus introduces an air of whimsically, undivinable, creativity. The influence of these outer planets encourages dreaming beyond logic, inviting innovation and inspiration.
This lunation is ruled by Mars, placed boldly in Leo. Mars, the planet of action and courage, urges us to dream with audacity—but to hold off on immediate action. Mars will soon retrograde (December 6), signaling a time to revisit and refine.
Journaling prompt: Write unfiltered dreams as if they are already your reality. Craft the life you want with fearless honesty. Let the retrograde energy guide revisions later. Your dreams are seeds; nurture them before you act.
(Symbolically, we say the planets have turned because of the visual representation but...I don't stream of consciousness is stream of consciousness)
In your initial writings, they are meant to be real dreams. That is how this works. Write the life you want beyond the life you have. Be really honest while lying to yourself and write as if you have it. The planets will make the edits and carve the path for what is attainable and what is to come.
Full Moon in Gemini; Story telling and rest.
My early teachings of the December moon were that this is the Moon where we acknowledge that all has been collected and it is the time to share stories & what we have.
The Gemini Full Moon illuminates the art of storytelling and curiosity. This lunation encourages reflection and sharing, making it a perfect time to recount what you’ve learned and gathered in the year.
Venus, now in Aquarius, separates from Mars and moves toward a harmonious trine with Jupiter and the Moon. Jupiter, though still in retrograde, offers a chance to reframe mistakes and missteps, turning them into wisdom.
Mercury, Gemini’s ruler, remains retrograde but diligently oversees this lunation. With its influence, we’re invited to organize our thoughts, research, and articulate our stories with intellect rather than emotion.
Journaling prompt: Share your year’s journey through the lens of storytelling. What wisdom can you extract from your experiences? This is a time for curiosity and exploration, not for grounding or finalizing.
Second New Moon: Capricorn (December 29/30)
The Capricorn New Moon closes the year with a sense of grounding and focus. Mercury, now direct, collaborates with a direct Moon ruler, Saturn. Though loosely squared, these two anchor us with practicality and patience.
Saturn tempers Jupiter’s tendency to overinflate, demanding structure and accountability in our plans. The Moon, uncomfortable under Saturn’s stern gaze, teaches us resilience and the value of routine.
Journaling prompt: Reflect on the structures you want to build for 2025. Where do you need discipline, and where can you allow grace? Consider movement—both physical and metaphorical—as a way to embrace change with intention.
The Moon is so uncomfy in Saturn's realm, and this chilling freeze will put your routines and body into concepts of new ways to ground, New thoughts on patience, and looking to New acts of movement.
This December is a time to balance dreaming with refining, to share your story while crafting the next chapter. The planets may challenge us, but they also invite us into co-creation.

I just need a space of expression at the moment. Trying to focus on work right now is surreal.
Though this space was not created for general expression, none of my online spaces of the last decade+ have been.
Im a traditional astrologer. I have a degree in religious anthropology. The form of astrology that I provide to clients is not what you read in beauty magazines of hear from pop astrologers on TikTiok. I function in natal classical before it became a parlor trick, later canonized to be pseudo psychological based on unethical elitist models. I spend a lot of time with Mundane and Electional Astrology because of a few reasons. My Aunt introduced me to astrology in the 90's to coup with premonitions--and interpersonal experiences, which where not exactly average. All that being said, I am angry and heartbroken, and embarrassed. Since the early 2010's I have been embarrassed of the direction that the astrological community has gone--this also comes from learning about western astrology on a historical bases and that everything that I knew was centered on a post Victorian model and kind of gross.
This doesn't mean that I stopped studying or practicing, it only means that I did not do it publicly.
Novice Astrologers do not understand the dynamic of political astrology--and most are not studied in mundane astrology and so take the narrative from those that are. More importantly there is an particular energy that comes with making predictions on these topics that current trend astrologers have not been in the community long enough to know of.
"I told you so"s for clickbate is just yucky. And that has been the ball passed around these last days.
I also look at predictions, but when I see something that is traumatic do I keep it it my pocket for the tragedy? No! It makes me sick. I share it with my community of supporters but not beyond that because knowing things before they happen historically and in my own experience doesn't play out they way that folks are capitalizing one.
Bending Spoons: A spicey brain take on current events & Uranus in Gemini
Texting a friend days ago,
I'm just tired, spoon less, and need to mine time or maybe bend spoons You need to hire Uri Geller It feels very Uranus in Taurus, but it will pick up *proceeds to look up Uri Geller's natal chart* He has Uranus in Gemini!!!
Some of this may feel very Tin Foil Hat. Astrology can turn a conversation in the spirit of jest literal so fast. Themes are the proof of patterns. and the more I looked the more my heart sunk. Whereas more than one thing can be true my reality has been infiltrated with death at all ends. Something I am able to process--but the level of information streaming in is beyond the precipice of overstimulating why trying to stay afloat in late stage capitalism.
Initially, I though this would be a fun little overview of the a life's manifestation of Uranus in Gemini; in the quill of being a spoon less wonder.
Geller was born in Jaffa (Tel Aviv) to a man that was a member of the Hagenah--the organization that transformed into the IDF in 1948. Finding this ironic connection out the gate as thread of where some of daily energy goes was curious. The correlation of Geller's work beyond bending spoons on TV for silly entertainment--we have Project Star Gate and the tie to the Soviet Union. Which when talking on modern history and astrology the land giant never gos unmentioned.
Lets break down Geller's chart a bit;
1h Scorpio: As 4, Chiron 5, Jupiter 18, Moon 19, Venus 19
2h Sagittarius: Mars 9, Sun 27
3h Capricorn: Mars 1 - Lord of the Nativity
8h Gemini: NN 10, Uranus Rx 19
10h Leo: MC 7, Saturn 8, Pluto Rx 13
12h Libra: Neptune 10
Its the kind of chart that makes you go YEP
Half Way Marker
This year has been unmatched with shock and disarray. When I said this year would be harder just different I was able to imagine the sensational feeling that this would really be.
Everything is falling into the timing, I do mean everything--and I will continue to drive home that those in power do in fact use astrology and so should the people.
I find myself being more driven to write about the reflections of astrology moreover than the predictions I have, maybe this has to do with Neptune and knowing about is and is to come? I used to try to hustle making horoscopes when the market first starting being flooded because that is what the majority want--even though I find general horoscopic astrology boring.
I love building relationships with my clients, talking with them about the nuances manifesting in their lives from the sessions that we have had. Aiding them in navigating what is in store for them from the beginning, middle, and end. But this year has further created a halt in the heavy work. Riddled with lose both personally and socially. Witnessing hope followed by storms.
This year will continue to be halfhearted pursuits and gaslight streets for most especially the way that the world org is treating the global majority. When the storm finally reaches the shores it will be long and taxing of our autonomy.
A temper of time; Saturn storms are monothliths of maturity and a best kept secret. No one knows what causes them in their deep rooted sequence.
I have started using my Ko-fi, go check it out there is lots to come--in ways I haven't offered before
in the nest of eclipses
What determination can be found between Pisces and Libra? If it seems dreamy, it's because it is—on the surface..
Libra floats upon the surface of Pisces. We may consider Libra the force that moves cotton-candy clouds along the skyline.
Eclipses exchange events for time to move forward. Change in life often requires a leap—or sometimes a push—like the Fool stepping off the ledge.
Astrologers can predict the event, the area of life it affects, how it unfolds for you, and the emotions it may evoke. Knowing of the fall doesn’t mean that we don’t have to
Libra in definition
Libra, a sign of daylight's positive charge, is both hot and moist. It ushers in the autumnal change in the Northern Hemisphere, while in the South, it marks the time of bursting spring. Fluidity and dynamic expression embody Venusian softness, artistry, and touches of beauty. Chatty and distinguished in eire. Libra exists in the realm of the tightrope walker—a delicate balancing act of fortune.
Pisces in definition
Pisces, a sign of the night's negative exchange, it’s both cold and moist. A chilling fog with technicolor specters, it molds the winter's melt of longer days into mossy beds and algea groves. The combination of sensitivity and variability creates a spectrum of expressive sentiments that are receptive and in the moment. Jupiter's gifts of boundlessness encourage the idealism needed to manipulate dreams themselves.
New Cycles Start With An End
Lunar eclipses traditionally mark the culmination of an ending, as they occur during the full moon. On September 17th, we experienced the first Pisces eclipse of the next ecliptic exchange, setting our path for North Node amplification in 2025. The North Node is traditionally ruled by our benefices—Venus and Jupiter. The energy of this mathematical point attracts and pulls in, symbolized as the head of the dragon that radically consumes. There is intellect here, but it’s a heartless intellect.
In the house of life that Pisces occupies, this marker revisits the same two-year theme that triggered changes in your life from 2006 to 2008. This eclipse brought you back to the chapter of 2008, but for who you are today. If you're too young to remember that dreamy peak, look to see which house Pisces governs in your chart.
Mercury Cazimi
Revealing secrets and spilling the tea is Mercury's specialty. On September 30th, we'll gain insight through revelations from our chatty celestial traveler as it descends into the heart of the Sun. This Mercury Cazimi brings bursts of insight and balance, occurring at 8 degrees in a tight conjunction with the South Node. Days later, the eclipse follows at 10 degrees. As the messenger of the heavens, Mercury will share the crux of the matter for this Solar eclipse, purifying our channels of communication for the new beginnings taking shape.
Solar Eclipse and Nodal Exchange
October 2nd will mark a total solar eclipse in Libra at 10 degrees, falling in the second decan ruled by Saturn in Pisces. I adore the layering of this eclipse—if one can, in fact, love an eclipse.
On eclipse days, it's always best to take it easy. Don't do anything if you don't have to. Amplify your self-care and take time to check in with yourself.
This eclipse ushers in elements of a spooky atmosphere. While we may enjoy this aesthetically, experiencing it as a lived reality is an entirely different matter. Generally speaking, this is not what we typically associate with Libra. However, let's examine why I'm making this assertion.
You already know what the North Node in Libra has been adjusting in your life to bring forth into life. And solar eclipses are here for the radical starts. Your time line of reference points is around Oct 24, 2023 & Mar 25, 2024.
The energy is swift and precise, aiming for longevity, though you may not fully grasp its effects until later. Venus, isolated, functions like a sticky-sweet goo adorned in Scorpio's black lace—spiky and damp. Mars, its ruler, is also actively in fall, creating a truly unsettling night of dysregulation. For some, this energy is easier to navigate because their natal chart contains placements and aspects that make them familiar with such intensity.
The eclipse occurs in the 2nd Decan of Libra, influenced by Saturn's presence in Pisces. This combination of energies evokes imagery reminiscent of atmospheric horror films like "Dark City," but viewed through a softer lens. The enjoyment we can derive from this stems from understanding the terrain we've been navigating. We're now receiving a kickstart, while the South Node channels away the excess energy.

The Jupiter Saturn Square Dance
Think back to December 2020. By then, we had become accustomed to lockdown, and the myriad holes in society had become glaringly apparent through the lens of Uranus in Taurus. The spiritual community was abuzz with excitement over the lofty, evolutionary ideas surrounding the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in Aquarius.
Why is it that whenever Aquarius is mentioned, it's romanticized as a lofty ideal, reminiscent of the Woodstock hippie era—where people "cosplay" poverty while unwittingly perpetuating the very systems they claim to oppose?
It's easy to forget that Aquarius is ruled by Saturn. While Aquarius has a different tone than Capricorn—quirkier, perhaps—it still bears Saturn's influence.
We're all familiar with the powerful impact of a Saturn square. The most significant of these occur when transiting Saturn squares your natal Saturn.
Squares mark the first and third quarters of a cycle, acting as a test. Multiple squares can occur before and after the halfway point of the opposition.
Squares create friction, while oppositions present challenges.
It's important to note that all planets have this cyclical relationship with Saturn, just as they do with each other.
When it comes to these two giants, Jupiter and Saturn, their interactions are so profound because they shape generational arcs. These aren't daily occurrences, but rather pivotal moments in life's sequence.
Let's journey back to December 2020 (this is why I encourage journaling, if you have the luxury of time to do so).
The conjoining of the 2 of them in the home of Saturn, making Jupiter a guest. We really can think of rulership's the way we think of homes and the tolls + comfort that we have at our disposal. Jupiter being in Saturn's home of innovation means that Saturn is the Lord of this space meeting an a more or less isolated space with no aspects. The weeks prior are just as important for what the themes were presented to you and what markers are meeting you now.
In my time zone the peak of conjunction did happen at dawn—this is going to have its own instillation, but I'm getting ahead of myself.
In the big picture and why the hype about the “Great Conjunction”
This conjunction marked the motion of a 240ish year cycle of the two grea t teachers making conjunctions in Air signs moving away from the Earth cycle we have all been accustom to—ok cool, but what is this motion for the lives we are actively living on the micro level?
Bringing in the Apocalyptic narratives. This has been more or less a theme since the Byzantine Era, our great teachers being those that are the furthers we can see with our eyes or of the Ptolemaic system,: as well as being the slowest moving. It is from this time via Arabic texts that we have record of profound effects happen upon the earth when these slow and steady giants make a conjunction. Due to the sequence of Saturn and Jupiter these conjunctions happen within triplicity.
This lens of change marked the changes in Kingdoms and Religious Rule, traditionally noted as changes in laws and sects; as we can note the timing in similarity to Pluto returns.
If I recall correctly what the conversations in my sphere involved having trust in community like I had not seen it before which is very fitting. There was deep reflections around our foundations and shifts in focus on a practical level—there was also the beginning of a surge in the spiritual community and spiritual psychosis like I hadn't seen it before.
Air signs are those of the intellect, bright ideas and the application of thought lead creativity.
Jupiter is expansive generosity fuels the process of growth and then there is Saturn bringing in the discipline and structure keeping that abundance in check. These two together instill the necessity for tangible results. Jupiter balances out Saturn’s cause of anxiety in scarcity and limitations and Saturn culls for healthy development so there isn’t the excess of subpar or mediocre development.
When fruiting trees are stewarded the fruits produced are of higher quality,
The dance of the tight rope
In 2020 this was the constant, the back and forth of finding balance between Jupiter and Saturn—growth and reorder, rinse and repeat as we finished up that earthy scented shampoo moving onto something more heady.
Now
As of today, we're a few days past the exact formation of this square. Our great teachers will be dancing around in orb to one another until the next exact square on December 24, 2024.
We’re still riding the full moon in Aquarius, ruled by Saturn retrograde in Pisces, which in turn is ruled by Jupiter in Gemini—and Jupiter, being in detriment, is quite uncomfortable, as if running on a low battery. This month is full, really the rest of the year, of backtracking, and yes, we're all tired. It began with our chance to slow down, be quiet, and observe. Now we're like exhausted dandelion seeds caught in the winds of change. Jupiter in detriment, ruled by a retrograde Mercury, squares a retrograde Saturn, creating a chilling atmosphere in Pisces. This truly embodies how all of the planets are showing up in the theme of not knowing where to land. As Saturn inches closer to Neptune's naturalistic dissolution, we're struggling to trust the sands of time as they form fragile glass bridges. Sometimes its ok to do what we know and what we can when we are floating along. For some this is where it is at on a personal level, but for others and the global diaspora this really isn't in—but this is where we find hope. We are living these changing tides which is our reminder that things can in fact change.
We are all navigating an unprecedented atmosphere, and it's worth noting that our world is indeed novel, even as we echo core themes of our ancestors.
This square of Jupiter and Saturn is met with a T-square of Venus, unfortunately I don’t see this as much of an attribute in aiding Jupiters tempering of Saturn. Mercury is retrograde.
Mercury ruling over both Jupiter and Venus. Jupiter is poorly conditioned and though Venus is neutral and finds an an ease of organization in Virgo like a hospitable guest—this isn’t enough to stretch the tight collar of Saturns restraining disposition.
Further telling the story of Mercury at this time; they are under the rays of the Sun. Begging their scorching decent like Icarus.
As we follow the Mirroring relationships of the conversation being held by the celestial divine, Saturn is the the home of Pisces. The icy unseeing atmosphere that Saturn creates with the co-presence of Neptune.
We know squares bring the friction of the 7 rays. Squares are a challenge in what is being witnessed. I see this as the benefice’s asking Saturn “uhhh wait, its not winter…hold one we might need that…what I want that…” Saturn coldly and compassionately always being the “No, its for the better…”
What is being challenged here through the energies of; abundance, desire, restriction and sprinkled with miscommunication?
What houses are these transits happening in? This ill provide you with the themes of this aspect. For depth and particulars check out to see what I have available!
You will have the coming months obverting and witnessing these manifestations in you life as the Rex Dance f Saturn ends and Jupiters begins.
Since Saturn has been Rx the fears of duality and inconsistency have been the revisiting motion.
For our next trick our continuation of thought and dream meeting challenge is met allying Mercury.
The square of the great teachers with the addition of Mercury in mutual reception to Jupiter attributes to the presence of the problem solving what is being attempted at this time. Jupiter and Mercury are quarreling witness about what Saturn is constricting. Jupiter and Mercury both being in detriment find themselves nervously laughing, while shifting in their seats that provide the opposite type of comfort from they preferences. Jupiter’s optimism is as good as those that don’t like the taste of cilantro but love taco’s—the air of Jupiter in Rx at this time falls deep in hopeless abundance under the pressure of challenge that Saturn is showing at the head of this table. Saturn sterling reassuring that, “its ok that all of this has died, it will grow back stronger.” Mercury also in Detriment finds the atmosphere of thought to lofty to digest and the pearls of icy fog too many to count.
Jupiter is not good at grief, and Mercury understands the decent into the underworld. Jupiter disregards what comes after a bubble pops and would rather take shots with Neptune to deal with Saturn in a stupor. How Saturn works is in the show up, how do you show up and are you consistent. The critique continues during the duration of the cycle—they don’t do instant gratification.
Within this exchange Mercury and Jupiter understand each others discomfort and aid each other in a strong connection.
Consider how your natal Mercury manifests in exchange's, as they travel they carry the word along.
Note: Neptune is still co-present with Saturn, making much of the restriction seem imaginary or not clear.
Horoscopes Here Let me know if this resonates or if you have any questions!
-K
Mercury went direct yesterday, and Venus moved into Libra today. I don't know about you but it is noticeable in the minute to minute motion of how we are interacting with others.
Our desires for rest will feel fuller in the evenings for the coming weeks. Though the challenges of jupiter and saturn are still scraping away at our ideas of growth and where this is necessary-more to come on this movement in my future deep dive on the relationship of the great teachers.
What is Venus bringing for you in Libra?
Most prolifically Libra! You! Your mind and self are feeling in it hard in the best ways since this is the lord of your nativity. It's ok to push out what doesn't align with you. The things that have shown themselves to be unbalanced and not show up in ways that fill you-and it won't take anything at all any you part. Venus is here to check in, fill you, and lock in that glow up. Heading into Libra season, it's time to shine and leave the decision-making for another day-we know you don't like making choices anyway, so embrace it! And for those night charts you are the evening star ♡ Accept what is being offered to you, the scales can be balanced later.
Capricorn, yes, you work hard through this area of life, and yes you will now see that it is noticed in the tangible. Any negation you make in the area of life that you are seen the most will land in your favor during this window.
Aries this can be in the vain of mending a relationship hiccup that formed in the last few weeks, Venus is here to help. You can also find yourself receiving business opportunities that have been in standstill or decisions finally being resolved in your favor.
Cancer, Venus will be passing through your house of family and ancestors. If you have an ancestral practice or want to start one, lean into this area of life. Spend time with the living and dead. Venus offers material things, yes, but also the sparkles of life that are found in connection and laughter.
Scorpio, spend some time in your head. You're used to this, but let yourself not try to control the outcome. The parts that you have been muling over, feeling insecure about and can't put your finger on will be relieved--it won't make sense how because you have to be ok with not knowing what the problem was to begin with. Sometimes, the best answer is none at all. All the deepndives in the world won't give you the answer that you want.
Aquarius, the grant comes through, the passport resolved, the book arrives, the immersion begins--and if you're the type, your debate game is strong. If you've been trying to figure out how to make that trip happen or want to do something to pursue higher knowledge, it's going to materialize.
Leo, your communication is on point, and daily life is receiving some ease. Yes, you can accept that compliment genuinly and little treat. Spend time with your siblings or friends who understand you and let you feel a little down... because you will be coming back up, and they will help you receive this.
Taurus, what you oversee in work and health is receiving a boost. Not in speed, but with your ruling planet passing through this area of life, you know all too well how things can just be there when you need them. Also... you may be getting a new pet. Usually, this is more of a Jupiter thing, but with the pet distribution system, this is a favorable time.
Sagittarius, the area of your life that will be receiving Venus's gifts are through your communities-irl or via social media. Not in the way of growth or numbers but in the way of gifts and pleasures.
Gemini! Oh Gemini, Venus finds their joy in the fifth house. Grab onto the creativity. Maybe you have been having an artist block. Venus is here like your own personal superhero to get you to wiggle those fingers to create. You might also be receiving a fling or rekindling.
Horoscopes can only be based loosely on your rising sign. Astrology is a delicate and complicated assessment of the world that happens for you.
I have readings open if you would like a fine tuned arc of where you've been, where you are, and where your going.

July 2024: highlights on Neptune and Pluto
*horoscopes for the impacted below
When I listen to most discussions about the outer planets, they are interpreted similarly to the personal planets. They are not and I think a lot of how this notion can be dissolved for them to get the credit that they deserve. The language of them having signs that they rule modernly helped but is still wrong. This is why delineations are often half right when it comes to them—they are generationally social or involve a group rather than the person.
Every month this year has brought a different flavor of change and will continue to do so. This year challenges the social concept of free will and how it has been propagated by politics, religion, and modern psychological thought. How are you coping with today's reality? How are you holding onto hope?
How Neptune will manifest for you in lived experience is the culmination of almost the last decade and the dissolution of constitution that Neptune brings. The melting of the acid trip when hitting retrograde reveals the reality of what is left. Neptune stationed retrograde on July 2nd, 2024, at the last possible moment of 29 degree and 55 minutes, marking a critical point. …joining Saturn’s (Rx) co-presence to make a lulling siren's song lighting a crescendo into a rude awakening of brittle reality.
As Saturn and Neptune meet the glass of the hour glass will dissolve, there is no reason to try to separate the pieces during the next Mercury Rx, they are all made of the same material.
July is embedded in this stormy symphony with the addition of pressure from Pluto(Rx) and Mars meeting with a square around the 11th to 16th adding the undertone of petty paranoia to the realism we are witnessing around. Before you jump into the deep end end make the consideration that illusions are just that and urgency will not bring you the escape route you are wanting. Not to mention the Mars Uranus conjunction—which I really don't want to talk about, because I’m doomy and gloomy enough…Algol ooooffffffffffff, in another post, maybe.
I consider this Neptune movement the highlight of the year, ushering in what is to come in the things that make so much of humanity human and also, unfortunately, inhuman.
Key points of interest revolving around the organization of belief.
On a personal level, Neptune's influence reaches the core, highlighting the parts of you that contribute imaginative qualities to the ticking of the social lens. When retrograde, it catapults you out of escapism and grandeur, making you more lucid. To read more on a loose picture of what is to come you can find that here
Why do I presume that these 4 rising sign will be experiences this transit in the most prolific ways? Because Neptune has been in one of your angular houses. Angular house hold the space for prominent areas of life; the peaks.
Pisces; you sense of self, mind and body. Your reality check formulates byway of you, darling! Who are you?
Gemini; public image, the worlds stage, and life’s legacy. What ethical pillar is surviving the winter storm? What is left is what can grow. You just have to start taking action and stop overthinking it—the simplest form will grow into the greatest function.
Virgo; other people, relationships, contractual agreements. Oooeee, I’m sorry? I know you tried, you really have. But all the lists and excel sheets and planning in the world couldn't have held onto what you have been trying to make real. Now, see what is left, sometimes it is as cliche as “it was to make room”
Sagittarius; ancestors, home, parents. Is your home feeling crowded or your location feeling like it hasn't been of service to you? Are you leaning further into tradition to get a foot hold? The next foundation won’t shatter, if you can let this one go—the wayward way will serve you, don't try to wield it.
Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius; you have other things on the main table, the things in your forefront will make sense in a glimmer—just stop questioning how backwards they seem and keep collecting inspiration.
Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn; you are at transitional points. The decrescendo of your social presence in the world is shifting. It is time to let go as the sands of time have been pulled with them to dissolve. You can see what is gone and with this the denial in grief can be rectified to ease your transition into the next great plain.
For more you can reach out for a reading or if you would like your sign didn't get the attention comment and let me know!
Continued thoughts: July 22 post Full Moon Cap x2 conj Pluto Rx et al... I was going to continue my ongoing conversation on the fall of modern spiritualism, but this is more pressing... The US Empire’s actions in urgency are a continued joke as the empire crumbles. This is the direction and stance: consumption over people. The cozier you have been, the slower you are, and then there are those who want destruction for their white Jesus (circling back to Neptune and Modern Belief movements).
I have my own perspective and opinions, but I want to note what I've been seeing north of the border—a reflection of privilege set back a decade or more. You know, Canada allegedly got its independence in the 1980s, yet they're stuck in the US 90s? It's actually quite curious. And I don't mean in the way the US has had a 90s resurgence into recession core (cough cough Saturn cycles). It's like Narcissus seeing his reflection. In a broad overview of course without chattel slavery as well as a very different legal and social lens of indigenous presence and rights.
Pluto’s Final Squeeze
What gem will we receive from the hands of Pluto in the coming days? For some, blood diamonds pouring out of rifted skylines.
What gem did you receive from Pluto in Capricorn? What areas of life were impacted by the siege of tradition? (The house that just went through an overhaul). What themes were presented back into 2008 or major events struck in your life and how have they transformed for you?
When being an Astrologer is a Burden -- revisting thoughts on the great teachers
To note; I absolutely adore being an astrologer--it wouldn't be the only consistent thing of my life if I didn't. Yesterday, I made my way to having a TikTok dialogue with a mutual after what has seemed like a very very long time.
I began on with a simple thought on the sadness and burden of what it is to have foresight in the current geopolitical environment at large. Having known it was coming and because of the drowning down out of our current social model there is no warning that will be taken seriously.
Jupiter is in detriment in Gemini.
Where Jupiter finds Joy in the 11th this will be much easier...for months I have been wanting to talk of Jupiter and addiction and that the personal attribution should be removed from the narrative of Neptune...that inflation or an over abundance of something is not a "good" things and so on.
I had mentioned some things in these videos organically because my Gemini Rising often needs to talk things out. That Jupiter and Saturn balance each other out. I am not sure why I hadn't made this connection in the past. It is often communicated that the benefices damper malefics or cancel them out--but this never said with me in observation.
Sure in practice the quality and so on gestates the epitome of their articulation but as a general motion both are needed for higher understanding and growth--maybe I have just metabolized this and it was always understood.
They are the middle or graduating point into the larger social lens--the impersonal spaces that we navigate. More on this to come--I needed to produce this in the election window!

Rarest Sun Signs? Does it matter?
Scrolling through TikTok, occasionally an astrology video pops through. My algorithm has been seasoned over the last 7ish years and I avoid astro influencers and hot takes since astrologers in droves decided that 3 months is an appropriate time to proclaim proficiency--vetting in these spaces isn't really a necessity. From a studied lens, we can tell. It's not to say that there aren't amazing young astrologers but as with everything there are much less than there are floating under hash tags.
So, a video popped up proclaiming that the 2 Saturn Ruled signs are the least in population. And that there isn't much information on Capricorns by Capricorns because of this.
Ok, sure, I can get on board with this mildly, though different sources state different things on birth rate months--a sun sign does not an astrologer make.
I think that more of what this is, is that the studied astrologer doesn't constantly talk about their chart. Wouldn't the viewer get bored if every post gave the astrologers natal chart as credentials.
I would be far, I'm more curious if this hot take would be around Saturn placements--though this isn't where we look at in the chart to see if astrology is a defined practice. We look to Mercury and the 9th house. Secondly, possibly, Jupiter and the 3ed house. In my experience as well as study--the condition of the planet, esp Mercury and what is articulated through the houses.
Defining everything through the lens of sun signs is to a detriment. I think that it is the result of erasure. The result of capital interest and depth psychology. Its entertainment and further washes the study and credibility of Astrology.
To circle back yes there are astrologers with a cap Sun, or even with a stellium--I am one.
Astrology hot takes are like cold readings--they have a time and place to capitalize on the desperate and insecure.
post january in post modern astrological musings
January felt so long.
i keep reminding myself that the time hasnt sped up yet.
were still on a country road but now we have to pee with no rest stop in sight.
trying to bridge the pursuit of every day life when our thoughts are elsewhere.
trying to navigate, 'what more can be done' in listless thoughts.
within personhood of the year unfolding.
there has been so much death and illness and accidents this month--all around. if you have had bouts of misfortune please don't minimize this because of what is happening globally.
folding in can bring moments of relief.
every month for the rest of the year is going to bring forth their own themes and notes of foreshadowing in the years to come.
information has and will continue to pick up, though not in speed or clarity. in the grappling of general awareness.
fear has shifted like a light switch back to what we saw with the taste of Pluto in Aqua and we still have a skip back into Cap to come.
so, keep it simple. things are not simply wrong or right. in all things we can move sometimes in a 'bad' way for a 'good' cause.
we have to remember how we move. conditioning can bring about movement in opposites.
Uranus in Taurus is leading the food crisis and labor movement, keep educating yourself in these points. keep making connections in the ways of mutual aid.
keep taking the time to understand labor rights and how to organize for them. this will be more impactful than occupy in time.
dream big, and i mean delusionary big, the last decade has been filled with spiritual elevation & delusion--so run with it now that Saturn is in pisces, ground out the dreams of humanity.
come june, there will be a point before a release of what we have come to believe and what the beliefs that shoot persecution like arrows have created--universal law & universal ethics are not mutually exclusive.
there are beautiful dreams that will find Daddy Saturn's approval there is also pressimistic practicality, and nighmares of quicksand--maybe only parts will be solidified but those parts WILL be solid.
we have to remember that sometimes subtle conversations held in compassion can be more powerful than a sign.
we have to remember not to shame others for not knowing or not being able to strike or make it to a march...or what have you.
look at what we are doing and keep encouraging this instead of pointing out who is not.
New Moon in Capricorn: Intl Hearing of Isreals Acts of Genocide
Is this a coincidence? No, not in any way + to add to my thinking that this was intentionally planned for quiet, unobserved detrimental viewing...noting the BBC was silent and did not air the first hearing.
The Moon in Capricorn is uncomfy, cold, and meloncholically longing.
The power shift of the unseen being seen...is unfolding. I want to say I'm sorry to those who are just becoming aware of so much, I know that it's overwhelming--I also know that these words mean nothing. On this end of the lens it's nice to be able to talk about it, to remind you that you are not alone in feeling that hard and cold--in not knowing what to do when the numbness sets in.
More on this to come, maybe. Let me know if you would like elaboration in the comments. Or go check out my post 2020 astrology. Much is loosely mentioned in the large overview.

January '24 your (only) moment to ground it out.
By the end of 2024, you will find yourself wondering where the time went. As we delve deeper into the events of this year, the pace will accelerate, although we won't be at full speed just yet. We are only at the threshold.
January is the month for you to ensure that your foundations are solid. There is a common belief that a new calendar year signifies a fresh start for everyone. However, I challenge this notion. Your true new year has always been and will always be your birthday, marking the activation of a new phase in your life.
I have been contemplating how to present this information in a more easily understandable manner, as it feels like the curtains to the true presence of the great and powerful Oz have been drawn back. And in this case, Pluto...
Pluto will be moving into Aquarius again this month but in Sept will skip back into Capricorn until 2025. So January, your time to get that shit in order as we step into a year that begins the pursuit of defining an era.
Big Points:
Our Fair Merc Stations Direct Today!
Mars moves into Exaltation in Cap on the 4th
New Moon in Cap on the 11th
Both the Sun AND Pluto move into Aqua on the 20th (my friend Copper and I have been having discourse about this over on Tiktok)
Venus moves into Cap on the 23rd
Full Moon in Leo on the 25th
Uranus (FINALLY) Stations Direct & Fair Merc conjs Mars on the 27th
What is it that you have been working on? This is not the time to come up with new ideas only to have them crushed by Saturn in Pisces. By the time Saturn meets and passes Neptune, the illusions and delusions will crumble, and what remains of the last decade will be more than just a passing trend.
How can you use this information? by rising sign: at a very base level what planets are transiting where for you
if you want details let me know your rising sign in the comments!
I have limited availability for readings through this month email me for information (in comments). If you would like to look at your year ahead we can chat based on your timeline and my availability.
Next up! The new eclipse cycle...Aries, Libra, and Comets Oh My!
Saturn in Pisces: A Gothic Atmosphere
Forewarning: When talking about Saturn, it is rather hard for me not to be biased. Daddy Saturn has quite the hold on my life, so it always takes me a lot of time to find the right words.
When it comes to time, we don't have a choice. However, I will say that this year will be different from the last.
Maybe a breath of fresh air? I'm curious to know which glass castles will fall and which fantastical worlds will be built from the shards of Saturn in Pisces. While it may seem odd to pair fantasy and Saturn, my mind immediately goes to the dissolution and post-Soviet Union era, the rise of fascism, the Moonies, protests in Palestine, The Hobbit, freedom fights, and Magick Knight Rayearth — all things that have inspired me in one way or another. These events and much more happened in modern history during Saturn in Pisces. Although Saturn is not typically associated with revolution, there is much to consider within this binding giant when rules and ideals in universal ethics are involved. Is there a Prometheus theme in Mary Shelley's "A Modern Prometheus," or "Frankenstein"? It's quite possible. AI is being highlighted through conversation and public interaction, as well as the development of androids. While the conversations about AI in astrology are more encompassed within Pluto in Aquarius, I think that both of these placements are necessary.
"Frankenstein" was written during the summer of 1816, when Saturn was in the last decan of Aquarius, and published in 1818 with Saturn in Pisces.
Beyond myth and creation stories; Prometheus is a fascinating inner satellite or moon of Saturn. It orbits very close to the planet's F ring, which is one of the most striking and intricate features of Saturn's ring system. Prometheus has a unique and dynamic relationship with this ring, as it interacts with its particles and even 'steals' resources from it. The process by which it does this is called 'shepherding,' because Prometheus acts as a shepherd of the ring, carving out gaps and channels in its structure. In fact, scientists believe that Prometheus is responsible for some of the most intricate patterns and structures in the F ring. Despite its small size, Prometheus plays a crucial role in shaping the environment around it and helping us better understand the complex dynamics of Saturn's rings.
Frankenstein & Prometheus in myth, are both individuals driven by curiosity and a great desire to bend the rules of reality--to create life.
Saturn in Pisces is the Gothic Atmosphere, melancholic and lonely. Not quite dystopian though in the cases of the works of Phillip K Dick or Dune we can see this. Making the energy itself complicated, and seemingly eerie--its icy fog.
Allowing yourself to be human is necessary. Self-limiting behavior results from rejecting others from your vulnerable spaces. This is where you need to establish boundaries and face your fears. Continually rejecting others in this space can cause you to lose touch with your emotions and make you more prone to losing control, which is not what you want.
Saturn wrapped up the business of the last several years, having spent time in two Saturn-ruled signs. Saturn feels gentler in Pisces than in its previous places of rulership. The last few years have been isolating and alienating. Global restrictions have quelled our ideals of the world, our climate, and humanity. Saturn in Capricorn says no, but can take in all that disappointment and grief to make something beautiful. Saturn in Aquarius takes all the parts from disappointment and creates a monster that only Pisces can love.
We have learned that happiness comes with less. It was a redefinition and refinement of our values that brought us to this realization.
Saturn put pressure on Jupiter in their home sign before moving into Aries, which caused feelings of nihilism and a loss of faith in expansion. Perhaps you felt this too? We may not fully understand this part of the story until Saturn moves out of Pisces. Neptune's influence can add confusion to w Saturn brings, making the structure more unstable. Saturn is known as the superior malefic, tearing down what is not structurally sound and revealing what should be. This process challenges our convictions and requires us to let go of things that have passed their expiration date.
With Jupiter in Taurus now they can see each other. Meaning Jupiter can check in on Saturn while they are residing in their home and gives the allowance of resources and softens Saturn's cold tendencies.
If you are currently experiencing your Saturn return, your world will be deconstructed, or collapsing over the next few years. While the period of Saturn's return is often considered to be the hard part, the years that follow are actually where the real challenge begins. This is when maturity sets in. If you were learning about the world during the Bush administration, as Saturn in Pisces was, you may be disillusioned and eager to generate change in multiple areas, as you can see the roots of the problem. We understand that you care, and I predict that your Saturn return will teach you how to express this and why you have to as a generational point.
This is the time when you become an adult in some ways. Through the lens of Saturn, the maturity of adulthood begins, and you start moving halfway into the sun phase of your life around age 32. Seeing lived experience requires reflection to be understood.
How will this impact you personally? Saturn is the way of structure itself, let yourself dare to dream what this looks like for you through the theme of your house of Pisces.
And remember, Saturn rewards hard work.
InJoy
