The following images are a two-page comic illustrating the post. It starts with Katara, Aang, and Sokka. Katara is in the middle with the two boys peeking over her shoulders. Smoke, fire, and bits of debris fly through the air. Katara says, “What. Happened?!”
Then we see Toph and Zuko standing around a fire pit which has a spit over it. On the spit is a tiny bit of something that’s incredibly burnt, and also on fire. The fire also seems to be the center of an explosion site. Toph waves cheerily and calls out, “Hey, guys!” as Zuko shakily says, “Houh so. The food burned a little bit?”
“I said ’watch the food for a moment’ how did this happen?” Katara yells. Toph holds up a finger and says, “We’ve never stepped in a kitchen and have only one eye between us. So if you think about it… Whatever happened here, and it’s best if we don’t get into specifics… is kinda your fault?”
There’s a flashback panel to 10 minutes earlier. Toph and Zuko are lounging by the fire, which has a bowl hanging over it on the spit. Toph says, “If we need to cook it at 350 degrees for 15 minutes… then it should only take a minute at 5,250 degrees.” Zuko says, “I can do that.”
Back in the present, Katara looks at them with a pained grimace. She’s silent for a moment, then says, “Omelette bootcamp starts tomorrow, you little punks.” Indignantly, Zuko exclaims, “Fine by me! I welcome the challenge!” Then Toph leans over to Zuko and asks, “What’s an omelette?” Zuko replies, “I was really hoping you would know.”
At the end there’s a bonus panel, titled “Bonus: Zuko Alone diet.” It shows Zuko gnawing on a piece of jerky and holding a handful of nuts. He’s labeled “dried meat & nuts.” Then there’s an inset panel labeled “Ba sing se”, which shows Iroh happily stirring a pot. This panel is labeled (Iroh cooks). /end ID]
