which makes the requirements for success even more unattainable. it’s not just enough to be good looking or personable. you’ve got to have that IT factor. oh, tiktok is definitely the new girl on the block as far as exposure goes. and since people have seen what monetary gain can be garnered from it—they’re all trying to go viral. exactly. when you realize just how little these social influencers enjoy their life, you start to reevaluate a lot of things. yes, king, get silly! haha.
Especially if you can’t afford all the fancy equipment that makes your dog shit content at least look nice. It’s just trial and error and hoping what you make resonates with enough people for you to garner a following. Yeah, meanwhile I’m just doing my thing and having a great time because I’m doing stuff I want to do, not what I think will make me popular. How silly do you want me to get?

that’s amazing, i have the same connection with my ex, tom. he’s so helpful behind the scenes and we just have a good friendly connection at the end of the day. i’m glad we can both have such good connections remaining with our exes. i honestly just enjoy the friends i have and when we hang out somewhere outside in the world, people come and talk. otherwise, i do also meet people though things i work on.
I’ve never understood how people have bad breakups. I mean, I get that they happen, but I don’t think I could ever go through one myself, I just don’t have it in me. I have a lot of work relationships, and my friendships bleed into my work, too, because my work is my life. I suppose it’s a way for me to feel like my friendships can be productive as well as emotionally beneficial. And yes I realize how clinical I sound. It sounded better in my head.

Thank you, Alex! I wouldn’t have been able to make it as good as it is without a huge team of incredible people behind me. People who were onboard with my crazy ideas from the get go and could make them come to life. I do love a good wig...

You are welcome to take it. I get accused of being short, but the average height of guys is 5′9, and I’m 5′10 so I’m actually tall. That sounds like the start of a horror movie, and I’m ready.

is that so? that’s actually really cool to hear and i’m sure it makes the fans happy to see that you do that. i think that’s cool and i never really got fans to do that much but i do try to include them as much as i can. til i’m back home to relax? i’m enjoy touring with a band, not playing any music, just on the bus with the band and watching them preform backstage and all that jazz. i think that makes sense and i definitely admire putting out so much of your own money to make something so great. i saw the trailers recently and i seriously admire them. i can’t wait to watch it when i’m back home with my cats. do you think you have enough to hire a celebrity guest if you’d like? just curious.
Yeah, they seem pretty pleased when I pay the slightest bit of attention to them every now and then. Oooh, a roadie, huh? Bet that’s a lot of fun. The money’s just gonna sit in my bank account anyway - I’m not a materialistic guy, and I’ve got the house and the car I want, why would I need anything else? I care more about contributing stuff to the world than taking from it. I don’t know, maybe. I wouldn’t wanna hire somebody just for the sake of having them in my project, but if a part fit them, then why not spend a little more? I’ve had some really big names in my previous projects, but they’re YouTube big names, rather than mainstream, and I kinda like it more that way.

I guess, you could say that about any field you enter into. no one is guaranteed success one hundred percent of the time. and some people are just luckier than others. as sad as that is to say. but I wish all content creators peace and posterity, because it isn’t easy doing what we do. I think they will. since we could all use a little silly these days. oh yeah, that’s gotta be it.
That is very true! And the more people want to go into the same field, the harder it gets to make it. I remember when I was first starting out and a lot of people still didn’t really know what a YouTuber was - now it’s the cool thing, along with TikTok. But a lot of people don’t realize so much of it is luck, and being absolutely relentless in making content. I’m the King of Silly, I got you.
