I'll add that the initial post wasn't even calling Hbomb out for underpaying her, it was this vaguepost venting about being interpersonally poorly treated:

The posts about being underpaid came after Hbomb made his post, and after the dogpile was well underway. I think it deserves to be republished here, because it really is a dreadful instance of an artist being undercompensated:

Hbomb's post would be indefensible either way, but I think laying out the order of events illuminates things even further. Patricia Taxxon would be well within her right to call out being underpaid at any time, but as it stands she brought it up after Hbomberguy and his producer* contributed to the harrassment campaign against her. I would bet money that this is why Lily Alexandre deleted her post - because it validates Patricia's claim of underpayment that she posted in response to Hbomb pedojacketing her.

What we have here is a woman being piled on for the crime of venting that a man - who she did not even name - treated her poorly. "Lefttube" my ass.

[Also, while Patricia's account is currently deactivated, it is archived thoroughly on the Wayback Machine. I've seen people asking "posts are deleted, what happened" and I'd direct them to Patricia's words on the matter.]

Hbomberguy's post was deleted quickly after being posted, but r/youtubedrama got hold of the situation and someone made a post there that's just a vile cesspit of lolcowing. Hbomb's producer, lingrush, intially requested that the Reddit post be taken down, saying that the Bluesky post was deleted to avoid "piling on a person with mental health issues," but went back on this and repeated the claim that Patricia is a "genuine safety threat."

does anyone in the philadelphia/south new jersey/delaware area have the room and desire to take care of one of two cats that we can no longer take care of. we were originally taking care of them for rover purposes but then the mom could not take them back and surrendered them to us.

one of them is an old lady named china who really just wants to sleep all day in a sunbeam. and the other is a smaller recent-adolescent named bowie who is extremely skittish and will hide from you as soon as he sees you. we do not have the room or income to handle them long term so i figure i would reach out in case someone that follows me does, or knows someone who does.

so, here is the situation.

Slowly, my household has been able to crank our monthly bills down through judicious use of Beans and Rice. i thought we were in a good place and that would be the last i would need to bother the internet for donations in a while.

then, my cat got very sick forever. last week (plus a couple days) we discovered she has very early onset hyperthyroidism, which means she has small tumors inside her thyroid glands that are causing her metabolism to skyrocket - we noticed her getting dangerously thin about two weeks ago and now she is 4 pounds. we have medication and lots of delicious yumular cat food for her, but;

each vet visit is 500 dollars (minimum two vet visits, we've already had one), and insurance does not want to cover it fully because she had high thyroid levels before we got her. medication and extra food is an expense we have not prepared for in the realm of 100 dollars a month or so. and local radioactive iodine surgery will cost us anywhere from 1,500 to 3,000 dollars that we absolutely do not have. while radioactive iodine treatments have an extremely high success rate, even if insurance fully approves the treatment that puts us 300-600 dollars on the hook that we can't afford (we're on razor thin margins as it is), but if we don't, then over the course of her lifetime the medication and extra food will cost us vastly more.

this is not my usual "call to help a transgender person pay her paychecks". we simply cannot afford treatment and if we can't afford treatment she will waste away and die. and i really would prefer that not happen, because she's four years old and deserves to have a long full life.

hello everyone the previous reblog chain was getting a little too long so i'm reeling everything back here. here is the sequence of events so far;

We went to a cardiologist to consult before what should've been a fairly routine I-131 procedure.

The cardiologist informs us that my cat is in decompensated heart failure and her heart is beating at half the speed it's supposed to be, and will be like that forever.

She also has extreme inflammation, tons of fluid around her heart and lungs, and could basically fall over dead at any moment.

After two months of persistent heart medication, her heart is now, as of the latest checkup yesterday, normal size, normal shape, and with zero fluid - what has been called to me "compensated heart failure". That means we are tentatively okay for I-131 surgery, but we will have to wait and see if there are further developments with her heart, thyroid, and kidneys first.

Additionally, the surgery will require her to be off her thyroid medication for two weeks, which could decompensate her heart again. That is to say, everything is very touch and go right now.

And each one of these visits costs like $500 dollars that my pet insurance is refusing to cover whatsoever. Like I pay you fuckers for anything, right???

Here is the total as it stands. All of the money raised so far has basically been spent on the respective vet visits and we are solidly in the red on vet visits now by only a couple of hundred dollars rather than several thousand. And the I-131 treatment is still looming on the horizon, if it happens at all (if it does not, I will update the total accordingly).

So! I said I would do a yuri shirariel and here you have it! I think on doing a follow-up piece inspired by the Light Novel ending, cuz it brings even more yearning (I still gotta read it however, I was kinda hoping to see if either the anime would continue or if the light novels would start being translated to here, but no luck). For now this is quite the casual piece of Shiro sad because miss Demon Lord is occupied, she probably will end up doing something (chaotic) to feel useful and receive praise. I like to think when she isn't being watched that she express more openly her emotions and opens her eyes (i think on the LN it isn't like that sadly, gotta read it again)

This one was also a experiment on using 1) Plant Milk - Hemp II 2) A more complex style. To be honest the variation of Plant Milk and the style are not my favorites (I will probably return to flat colors with Walnut), but I did like the final result! Doing a not so popular anime/manga/ln brings some challenges: Shiro was somewhat easy with the exception of her braided details on the dress which I had NO idea how to describe despite reading both the Tag Groups wiki page on Danbooru and even trying to research this piece of cloth; and Ariel was just... impossible, probably because most art of her (even official) is always with Shiro it was kinda messy. And for those problems I was saved by the Loras made by Chichiue on Civitai for both Ariel and Shiraori. Normally I prefer to work without LORA, both because it's a extra variable to bring me problems and to attest the quality (besides stuff like origin of training data and all that) and it can break a little in styles too different from the source, BUT it worked quite well.

Life Cycle of a Peridot

Hi, so there's my Tiny Gems AU again. I love these little guys so much. Think of them as a mix between plant and insect (inspired by ants and leaf sheep. If you don't know what a Leaf Sheep is I implore you to search it now! :D)

This is kind of a gemling Au but not really since gems still emerge from walls and the diamond are the only ones with essence to make them (like queen bees) Young Gems need to eat materials that have minerals related to their gem, but after that they only need sunlight to live. Gems are still immortal but commonly fall prey to falling boulders and large organics. They just get gobbled up. (Our Peridot is spoiled though, don't worry about her.)
