Weirdest irrational fear? being caught on fire but not realizing it until it's too late, like say you're leaning over a candle, and your shirt sets on fire and before you know it, YOU'RE on fire.
Coldest temperature you've been in? -46℉
Hottest temperature you've been in? 105℉
Underrated artist? Frank Watkinson

Weirdest fear: Dark hallways- Not the dark, dark hallways. Years as a FNAF kid convinced my lizard brain there's always something waiting there. I'm 21 and haven't played the games in 5+ years so clearly, they conditioned me. Wild!
Coldest temp: Zero degrees. I live in Texas, so extremely cold temperatures are rare.
Hottest temp: ~110.
Underrated artist: Eric Olsith- He's got like, 8k subscribers on Youtube. He does covers of different songs on YouTube and has an otherworldly voice. I am taking you personally by the hand and asking you to listen to a single cover. Please.
First movie: No idea. Apparently I loved The Little Mermaid as a toddler, so we'll go with that?
Water: It's finals season so I'm caffeinating, lol. Only had sweet tea, mountain dew, and I'm just finishing a blue raspberry Celsius so I don't fall asleep while I'm studying. I'll probably die from diabetes before I graduate, honestly.

When did you guys decide to get a wheelchair?
Hey, y'all. I have FND with intermittent foot dystonia and some leg instability. (I stumble quite a bit) I'm a college student and need to walk about 3 miles a day to get to classes. My FND has been stable but I'm dealing with my first true flare up in about a year. It's been rough- I tried walking to classes and even just wearing shoes hurt, let alone the walking itself. Got really tired after, and I'm asking myself (again) whether I should get one.
Rn I'm using forearm crutches, which helps, but they're not enough support. Probably about a pain level between 3-5 even while using them.
I've asked myself quite a few times over the years whether I should pull the trigger and just get one for flare ups and long distances, but I figured I should ask other people for their input.
Medical professionals seem pretty adamant on not using them if that can be avoided- which I understand, of course. My flares aren't frequent, though, and this is making it painful and more difficult to just get through the day. I definitely don't have the money for a custom one, so I was going to build one through Erik Kondo's blueprints. Any advice would be appreciated, happy to answer any clarifying questions.

What do you get when you add YouTube seed money, state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques and a consumer-first sales model? A wheelchair th
"For [Tanner] Green, the chief engineer at Not a Wheelchair, this is one of the thousand complications standing between his team and a rather lofty goal: upending the manual wheelchair marketplace.
If you’ve heard of Not a Wheelchair, it’s likely because of its owners, Zack Nelson, the star of the 8.8-million-subscriber YouTube channel JerryRigEverything, and his wife Cambry, a para and manual wheelchair user. The Nelsons got into the mobility equipment business a few years ago when they released The Rig, an electric, adaptive off-road device with a simple yet robust and functional design priced significantly lower than anything else on the market. Now, they’re bringing that same ethos to manual wheelchairs.
Not a Wheelchair aims to offer a base-model, custom manual wheelchair at a similar or better quality than most of the insurance-approved wheelchairs in the U.S. for $999.
Yes, that’s just under $1,000 for everything — wheels, handrims, tires, side guards and rigid, angle-adjustable backrest included. And the company plans to have a turnaround time of weeks, rather than the monthslong slog that it typically takes from order to delivery.
When I first heard about this, it sounded awesome and a bit far-fetched. It’s hard to find a pair of quality wheelchair wheels for less than $500. Same with a rigid backrest. How were they going to offer both, plus a custom wheelchair frame without compromising on quality? I drove to their headquarters in Utah to find out...
So how does Not a Wheelchair’s base model chair stack up to other options on the market? I hate to sound like a preacher, but … it’s totally reasonable! It hits the mark of being at least as good, if not better, than the majority of insurance-approved wheelchairs in the U.S.
Touring the factory, I saw other prototypes scattered all around the facility. There’s a beefier, four-wheel drive version of The Rig that the company just launched. There’s a track wheelchair that’s still in development. It’s clear that Not a Wheelchair doesn’t intend to stop at a simple, manual wheelchair. Inexpensive components, more advanced electric off-road devices, power assist, it’s all on the table. “We’re just really excited to see where this leads,” says Green."

my little brother’s unbelievably awkward cat for your viewing pleasure. I told him she always looks like she’s in a really uncomfortable social setting she doesn’t know how to get out of. He told me “that’s because she is in one whenever she’s around you”
also I got a tattoo partially re-coloured today and they bandaged me in veterinary wrap like I'm a sick horse
Not gonna lie, that made me do a double take.
Not because of the vet wrap, it's great stuff and I keep some at home myself for first aid purposes.
But because that colour is considered euthanasia green in a lot of vet clinics here including mine and we ONLY use it for animals we are euthanising. We will literally continue restraining a squirming dog or cat while someone restocks the drawer if we open it to find only the euthanasia green vet wrap than use this because we consider using it for a healthy patient to be a bad omen...
they're going to put me down? :(
Figured tumblr would appreciate my salmon painting
i dont think i ever posted this here but i adore the idea of splicing together bumper stickers
I love love love fang blennies because they can unhinge their terrifying jaws to reveal giant venomous teeth

I knew poinsettias "faked" having big flowers by just turning some leaves red but I didn't know the real tiny flowers in the middle looked like such idiots
Oh my god this person found a leopard slug with its eyestalks fused together??? One super long stalk but it still has two eyes on the end. That's the cutest thing in the entire world. And then it had a ton of babies but JUST ONE baby inherited the mutation!!
*I throw a weighted blanket down along with copies of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Nintendogs (One of the old ones bc they're the best), and a couple of other games and give Sans a hug* You know you're allowed to want stuff and take care of your brother, right?
(Papyrus squeals in the distance about the new video games.)
I like drawing, singing and acting! I don't really have a favourite colour, although I prefer pastels. My childhood is hard to remember, but I do remember some parts.
I'd rather not trauma dump, but they say with the medical condition that I have now is caused by a strong build up of stress. So I'm basically stuck with non-epileptic seizures, but life ain't that bad no more! Just a lot, yk? Hospital is boring lmao, better than screaming match's tho :p it is what it is
(Life can suck sometimes, but what matters is that you got over that hurdle. And that means you're fully capable of getting over the other hurdles that life throws at you! Stay determined ❤️)
