Confession: I never understood why people hated andromeda so much. To me it felt like I was replaying ME1; kind of ehhh, not the greatest game ever, but setting up for an amazing new series
My thoughts exactly.
Confession: I thought Andromeda’s faults were charming, and to be frank, I liked it a lot more than I did any one of the games from the original trilogy. The three games as a whole are an incredible experience, but any one of them, on its own, without the other two and ten years to give it context and a nostalgia factor, would be underwhelming. I’m so disappointed in the fandom for not even bothering to give ME:A a chance to become the springboard for the future of the franchise that it was meant to be.
My thoughts exactly!!!
Quick!!!!
Someone with awesome editing skills and free time!!! If you like Mass Effect Andromeda make an AMV with it to Taylor Swift’s Shake It off!!!! It’s a fantastic middle finger to the nay-sayers!!!
And the part where she's talking about ed bringing a new girl around is Bioware and Anthem!!!!

Yeup. Netflix did exactly what I was afraid they'd do. Death Note is out and quite honestly the only thing good about it if you look at it as an adaptation is Ryuk was awesome. L was good to a point but it's like American movie makers don't know how to do subtlety anymore. Death Note is a series based around two people trying to outsmart the other to put it very simply. The version Netflix has presented is a half decent interpretation at best because even if you don't know the series you can't really connect to the characters because they're largely bland and boring and generic. Seriously, why can't movie makers pay attention to the damn source material?
Dear Netflix...
If you're going to do an adaption of an anime series, especially one as favored, as Death Note, spend the time to do some proper fucking set up. I am only 13 minutes into this bull shit and can tell you didn't think about how the characters worked in the series and just shoved them into the typical roles reused in various horror movies. That shit doesn't work for this series. And the gore factor is straight up american slasher. We'll see how this turns out.
That is about how i feel right now with the no dlc announcement.
Disappointment
This is going to be a silly thing to be disappointed about to some people but I seriously hope people in the fandom read this and agree. I am disappointed. I am disappointed in Bioware for not going forward with DLC for Mass Effect Andromeda. While I can understand why as the game did not get the reception they thought it would I also think it has a lot to do with the fans they were trying to please. I feel like a lot of fans were comparing the game to the first trilogy as a whole and hyping themselves up so much that when it didn't meet whatever high expectations they had they blasted the game. Here's the thing. You can't compare Andromeda to the first trilogy as a whole. It is the start of a new story ark with characters we haven't met yet which we haven't formed attachments to. By the end of, hell, Mass Effect 2 you have your favorites and your pulse is racing to finish the game and save the galaxy. You have a deep rooted love of Garrus's constant calibrations and Joker's snarky comments. You didn't have that in the first game. The first Mass Effect was clunky, short and the animations were wonky. You didn't have a really good feel for the characters yet. Andromeda is the same way. We don't know these characters yet. We don't know what the big threat in the galaxy is yet. We have an idea but I fear at this rate we won't ever find out. A lot of people I feel were huffing and puffing about how a lot of things in Andromeda felt the same as the first trilogy and they wanted to see something different and not the same old thing. It's the same old thing because this is a story of survival in a new galaxy with new rules. And I would like to point out that YOU TRAVELED THROUGH DARK SPACE WITH RACES YOU WERE FAMILIAR WITH!! OF COURSE THEY'RE THE SAME!! I feel like the fans didn't look at the game like a brand new story and were too impatient with the developers. I think the fans shot themselves in the foot really by not being willing to sit and wait for the story to unfold lime they did with the first trilogy. I know Bioware has plans to do more things with the franchise but I fear with how poorly people received Andromeda that it'll taper off. Plans change all the time and if the head honchos don't think something is a good investment they'll pull the plug and leave everyone in the lurch.
Shit shit shit they figured it out!!!!
very, very sorry for your loss
I. Adore. That. Song!!!!! So much!!!!
Sign of good luck?
So can I take it as a good sign that while I was sewing the boning into the bodice for Janjaghee v3 that Lady Gaga's Edge of Glory started playing? .....I'mma take it as one.
I am impressed beyond words. I was also screaming. And laughing. And still chuckling.
Now I have a very important question for the Dragon Age Inquisition people.
Gay or European?
So this comes up while I'm working on a costume. Pardon me while I try not to get my gross sobbing all over my dress as I curl up in a corner.
This is my snarky ass in a nut shell.
Ne işiniz var suzin orda….
