VALKYRIE WORKOUT
Alrighty friends! This book has inspired me to get fit and strong again, and of you'd like to join me, here's what I'll be doing in my Novice stage:
CARDIO
Interval running for 2km (1 minute running to 30 seconds walking but adjust to your level)
Hilly walks - bonus points if there are stairs!
BALANCE/CORE
Knee-ups to backward toe touches
Sumo squats and side extensions with pulse
30 sec plank
Deadbugs
ARMS
Tricep dips
45-degree push ups (using a chair or stairs)
LEGS
Squats
Lunges (if you have bad knees, do a reverse lunges instead!)
Bulgarian squats
Reverse lunges
Glute bridges
COOLDOWN
Short, gentle walk
Stretching
Focused breathing
Obviously not all in the same workout, but mixing and matching!
Me: looks up how to do Bulgarian squats......*slows backs away* lolol
