The circumstances of the average ghoul in Vampire: The Masquerade is kind of funny. Like, imagine you regularly fantasize about being taken by some aristocratic bloodsucker, generously adorned with dresses and gems, keeps you as a servant in her mansion, and then your domnitor is Cassandra from Accounting. She takes you to live in her apartment so she can split the rent. She sleeps on a mattress on the floor and she hasn't washed her bedsheets in the past six months. There's a mysterious stain on her pillows. She hasn't taken half of her belongings out of the boxes. And you're blood bound, so you can't even say 'damn bitch you live like this'.
