I had the incredible privilege of DJing some cinematic soul for friends at their wedding at the end of last month, rounding off a bank holiday weekend!

Loads of funk, jazz, Motown, funky house, hip-hop, broken beat and beyond! Massive shout out to my hosts for inviting and entrusting me with the finale of your big day! Good morning Everyone! I hope that you’ve been having a wonderful year so far! It is #BandcampFriday & #DeLaDay (more on this below) and I’d love to be sharing some new music right now like I’d been planning since late last year, but unfortunately, ill health has scuppered those plans for now. I have quite a few bits in the pipeline, some of which is finished and ready to go, but others, (including the next single) aren’t there yet (in fact, I was literally in the middle of recording the vocals for it when I got sick for the nth time since October with a sinus infection that knocked me out for 2+ weeks and counting, and I know with all my being that this is the one I want you all to hear next. I can’t find the words to express how frustrating this is, but for me, the order of releases matter, especially when you want to tell a story, and you’ve poured your heart and soul into bringing the sounds and words in your head to life. In the meantime, I want to thank you for waiting patiently if you’re looking out for new music from me, and I sincerely hope and pray that when it arrives, it’ll have been worth the wait! If you pray, I’d totally covet your prayers for health and rapid recovery and they’re received with sincere thanks! Shout out to @jammy.dodga who’s been looking after me and our poorly little one over the past month, you are incredible and you’re demonstrating what “in sickness and in health” means, even when you’ve been poorly during this time too.
