Hey there peeps!
Life has been so busy! I've gotten a good career under my belt, finished a massive move and lost a precious pet over the time I've been gone. Writing inspo had been down.
But I'mma be back more often! Build back up into my blog(s)! So I was curious, is writing commissions a thing????
I could use some extra cash and I use to do art commissions but those skills are even rustier than my writing ones. So if anyone can let me know if this is a thing that'd be incredibly helpful!
In the meantime, I think I'll post something new to one of my two accounts. (If you didn't know, my other account is "hereliesanotherfic", for more than just Dr. Stone stories.)
I will be posting this same thing on that other acct to spread the question/word. Thanks for any help! :)
A/N: Just a little drabble since I haven’t written anything for almost 5 months T_T Covid crap has taken a lot of spirit out of me. But please enjoy!

You stared at Yuzuriha before taking a bite of your sandwich, in shock to what she just suggested. You two were sitting together at a picnic table outside the school enjoying your lunch until she said those words that made your cheeks turn pink.
“You can’t be serious…?” You asked.
“Of course I am!” She smiled, tapping your hand lightly in comfort. Even in your disbelief, you still went back to eating. “You’re coming to the dance and need a date and Senku will need one too! You should ask him to go with you, even as friends.”
“Senku is going because they asked him for tech support, not because he wants to dance,” you rebutted. “He’s not the type to dance either, it makes sense. Besides, no body NEEDS to have a date, it’s just something peer pressure does.”
“Okay, forget the date part. I think he would dance with you, I think there’s a part of him that treats you a little bit different from everyone else.” Her words had your heart race in excitement, but you didn’t want to believe a possible lie. “But no matter that, I know how you feel about him, (y/n),~ and you should confront those feelings” she stated, glancing up to see the loud child Taiju heading over with Senku in tail, both carrying lunches. She glanced back to you.
“Don’t even…” you warned, earning a giggle from her.
“I won’t…but at the dance, you should at least ask him to dance.”
“I never said I was going!” You huffed quickly before the boys got to the table to join lunch.
You glanced down at yourself in the mirror of home, dressed in one of your finer dresses. It was a deep navy blue with some tints of glitter lightly placed through a mesh overlay. The top fit as a halter and the dress ended above your knees. You added simple black short heels (since high heels hurt horribly on any occasion) and a white, clean jacket to keep you warm. Yuzuriha was a great talker when she wanted to be, you couldn’t believe you were going to this event.
At arriving at the school, you entered the loud cafeteria, running at least a half hour late to the event. Many students were partying to the beat or drinking or snacking, it seemed like fun. That’s when Yuzuriha and Taiju snuck up on you from behind and you let out a small gasp at their cheers.
“Ahhaa! You really did come (y/n)!” Taiju cheered, looking snazzy in his chocolate brown tuxedo, bow tie and all. Yuzuriha seemed to try to match, wearing a chocolate brown dress, it was really cute couple things you didn’t understand.
“Well…she kind of bullied me,” you teased Yuzuriha, earning a grin from the latter.
“You’ll have fun, we’re all here and can dance together! And Senku’s here too!” She smiled and pointed up to the tech booth on the side of the cafeteria. Your eyes automatically followed, seeing the spikey haired man talking to another tech squad on the platform. You didn’t even consider that Senku would dress up a bit too- he was wearing a smile black and white tuxedo, tie done properly and his eyes glowing in the lights. You felt your heart skip a beat watching him work. “C’mon, let’s go!” Yuzuriha interrupted your thoughts and the couple dragged you onto the dance floor.
As you figured, over the time, your feet grew tired and you sat yourself out during a couple high energy songs and now they played some slow, romantic songs. It was nice seeing two of your best friends so happy in each others arms, they really seemed to be made for each other.
“You jealous?” You glanced up at the voice besides you to see Senku suddenly sitting next to you at the table. You knew he looked handsome from afar but up close felt very threatening to your heart. You huffed at his comment, trying to hold your heartbeat in your chest.
“No…I’m just happy for them, that’s all” you responded, looking back to your friends, Senku’s eyes doing the same. You were happy for them, that wasn’t a lie…but you couldn’t help but picture that being Senku and you. Him holding you close around the waist, your arms over his shoulders staring into each others soul. The idea felt so nice…
“Senku?...” He looked over to you, his ruby red orbs meeting your (e/c) ones. You had to be brave like Yuzuriha said, otherwise you’d be dreaming forever. You choked down the frog in your throat. “Do…do you want to dance..with me?” You tried to keep eye contact, it was so hard. He was the one that broke it and looked down to the floor. It seemed like he had a sad smile on his face.
“I’m sorry (y/n), I don’t dance.” He responded somewhat solemnly, refusing to look back up to you. You also stared at the ground now, biting your bottom lip to hold back what felt like tears on the edge of your eyes. You knew that was going to be his answer…you were just hoping you’d be the one above that answer…the only one he would dance with.
“It’s okay, don’t worry about it,” you were able to say and stood up. “I have to head to the ladies room, excuse me,” you muttered and respectfully walked away. No matter what, the last thing you wanted was to make your friendship awkward. Senku probably thought it was a simple offering, but it held more to you, you just needed to let some of it out alone. Little did you know, Senku sighed softly before going back up to the platform, he couldn’t do it.
Eventually, Yuzuriha found you camping out in the restroom and was there to provide some comfort. She got you to dance with her and Taiju for some more fun songs, but your heart wasn’t in it. It wasn’t much longer until students start to leave, the dance floor becoming more empty. Soon, all the students were gone besides a few to clean up, including your trio. You went over to grab your coat when the tables and floors were good before Taiju had grabbed your hands.
“(Y/n)!” he yelled, causing you to wince a bit, but you were use to it. “I..I have something I need you to do before you go!”
“You do?” He nodded vigorously. “What is it?” He quickly covered your eyes with your own hands and proceeded to guide you somewhere.
“Keep your hands on your eyes til I say! It’s a surprise!” Taiju instructed while you two walked.
“Didn’t you just say you needed me to do something? How can I do it if I’m blind?”
Taiju bit his lip, “Uhh, well you’ll do it when I show you!” he grinned, you could basically hear his grin. Eventually, the two of you came to a stop and he let go of your shoulders by which he was guiding you. “Okay, so count down from three and then remove your hands!”
You sighed softly. “Three…two…one.” When you dropped your hands, you saw Senku standing in front of you, a soft smile on his lips and his red ruby eyes large. “S-senku?” You questioned and then noticed you were STILL in the cafeteria, but the lights were darker and soft, no one else was in the room and the doors were closed. You looked at him in confusion.
“I’m no dancer, whether separated or partnered,” he stated, taking a step closer to you and offering a hand. “But I am your friend, I want to be there for you.” He stared directly into your eyes, and you weren’t sure if you were more hurt by his words, or happier. Regardless, you took his offered hand and stepped closer to him. His other hand, seeming to hold a remote, clicked a button before putting it in his pocket, and a slow, romantic lullaby began to play.
He put his hands around your waist, connecting them at the back. It was awkward, he wasn’t the physical touch kind of person. You rested your hands over his shoulders and connected behind his head, and the two of you began to sway side to side, seeming like a good start. You felt over the quiet time, his arms became more relaxed holding you. It wasn’t until you spoke that either of you realized you had been staring each other in the eyes the whole time.
“Senku…” you began, voice as soft as a cloud. “I want to know…if you can be there for me more…than just a friend.” It took so much courage for you to say that. Being you don’t know why he was here right now, dancing with you alone in the cafeteria.
“From what Taiju has told me, I need some time,” he replied, voice almost equally as soft. “I think with time…I can be…just like this dance.” His cheeks grew a tint of red while he watched your reaction. Your eyes were widened by his words, your own cheeks flushing and a smile trying to pry onto your lips, somewhat successfully.
“So..you’re saying..this dance…?”
“…It’s hard for me to do this in general, to be close to someone on this level. But I considered with a little help from two lovebirds, maybe there was another option.”
“You thought of all this for me?” You watched Senku nodded shyly.
“I just need time…” he repeated softly, closing his eyes and dropping his head a bit.
“Take all of it you need Senku, I will wait for you,” you dropped your head slightly too, both heads resting against each other while dancing slowly to the song.
I think Tumblr ate this request again T.T headcanons of Senku with a villager albino or heterochromiac s/o (you can choose either) who was thought to be a spirit, demon or a witch by the village and had to live separately before she met Senku? (Senku giving an hour of scientific lecture that s/o is totally normal with just a unique appearance to the villagers xD).
“Senku!! Senku come quick!” the little watermelon Suika rolled up and popped out of her shell. Her cry immediately caught his attention, turning all his attention to her.
“Suika, calm down, what’s the matter?” he asked seriously, placing a hand on her small shoulder in attempts to comfort and calm her.
“We caught the witch! The witch Chrome had been talking about for a while!! Come on!” She jumped, pulling his hand out of the village towards the edge of the woods. After the words left her mouth, Senku’s face fell into a dead panned expression. He was ten billion percent sure he covered how witches and mythical stories can’t be true to the entire village…and here was Suika pulling him towards their supposed witch. Most logical explanation is they captured a revived person from his time and knew some scientific skills like himself and startled them.
Once past a bit of the trees came a clearing, where Senku laid his eyes upon Kinro and Ginro having tied up, you guessed it, a person. Kohaku was also there, holding a stance ready to attack if you tried anything funny. All three of them must have already threatened you a hundred times. He couldn’t let this go on longer.
“Everyone! I am ten billion percent sure they’re not a witch,” he spoke loud enough to be heard clearly, and thankfully caught everyone’s attention, including yours. Kohaku walked over to him, knife still in hand.
“Senku! How could you be so sure? Look at them!” She swung her blade back to point at you. You had silky, practically snow-white hair and shining heterochromia eyes that were (l/e/c) and (r/e/c). You were different, but that didn’t make you a witch.
“That’s what the modern world calls judging a book by its cover and we don’t want to do that here,” he retorted and patted Kohaku’s shoulder before stepping around her, demanding you be untied. You were obviously scared, head tucked low, avoiding eye contact and beat up a bit from your fight with the trio. They trusted Senku enough to listen and you rubbed your arms a bit from the slight indents the rope pushed into your pale skin. Senku kneeled down in front of you, his team on guard automatically.
“What’s your name?”
“…(y/n). What’s yours?”
“Senku. You’re albino aren’t you?” He smiled, since he already knew he was right. He watched your mismatched eyes widen.
“Wait, you know?” Your voice trembled a bit, having lost the thought that people from thousands of years ago could’ve survived, and you’d have the luck of meeting them.
“Yeah,” he chuckled. “I’m sorry about my friends, they’re from this time so they got scared.” He offered you a hand to aid you standing up, which you accepted. It seems like his friends relaxed a bit too, adding some comfort for you.
“I got scared too,” you countered. “For months now, whenever we accidently crossed paths, I’d be called a witch and threatened or chased. They caught me this time.”
“We were going to burn them at a stake!” Ginro proudly stated before Kohaku appeared besides him and jabbed his ribs. Senku returned his attention to you.
“Do you remember when you woke up?” He wanted to ask so many more questions already, but he knew better than to overwhelm a new person who was attacked by a gang.
“Not quite, but I’ve made a wobbly hutch to survive in.” After that sentence, you noticed the leak-haired man gain a large grin on his face. You felt a bit of worry and confusion, but within the next hour you’d understand a lot more currently happening than your entire time awake in the stone world.
During dinner in the village, Senku took diligent time to explain to the villagers who albino people where and what heterochromia eyes were and why. Being the scientist he is, he left no detail too small, but he made sure to express the importance of not assuming the worst of somebody by how they look, or if they don’t look like you.
You happily ate your meal while he lectured the villagers. In this crazy, stressful world, you were lucky to find somebody who understood you, accepted you and helped others accept you too. If not for Senku, they truly thought you were a witch, someone producing magic and spells like in the games you use to play in your time. It was scary to be attacked, but you hold a special place in your heart for Senku now for saving you. He was a man you could respect.
I’m like really bad with keeping up on even the weekly and I am sorry ^^;; But I’ve also been dealing with life things that have to take priority. With that being said, I’ve lost a bit of my muse and I need inspiration. I’ve been re-watching Dr. Stone too, but I’m opening requests and asking you guys to send in your creativity!
I will complete as many as I can, but if it’s too similar to one I’ve previously written, I may end up declining it. I do have a couple left in my inbox (pre re-opening my inbox) that I will still aim to post first, I just need a kick in the butt to get writing for my lovely science boy!
You may also begin to send in your requests for some other characters, Taiju, Yuzuriha, Tsukasa, Kohaku, etc. and I will test my hand writing them and see your reaction! :)
If you have any questions of what I will write, feel free to ask or message me and I can let you know.
Hey, I saw your requests were open so here I am! You're totally allowed not to write this and I hope you're getting enough sleep and such :) Anyways, could you write about an anti-social reader X Senku, who gets really bad separation anxiety when he leaves because he's the only person they actually know? You're free to decline this, it's your choice!!! Thank you! And make sure you are putting your mental health before writing or else I will be forced to throw a bottle of water at you.
“You can’t leave me,” you breathed in a hushed tone, grabbing Senku’s wrist before he could walk away from you. Your (e/c) eyes were large with worry, gripping his wrist a little bit tighter and trying to stay closer to him. “I can’t stay here with them Senku…and I can’t afford to lose you!” Senku, Chrome and Kinro were preparing for another sulfuric acid trip and about to leave in a few short minutes. In all the time you’ve been awake in the stone world, you’ve been able to stay by Senku, go on the adventures, aid in the projects. This was a trip he refused to let you go on. It was still dangerous even for the three of them and they had stalled on creating more masks to progress other developments.
“(Y/n), you’ll be okay for a couple hours,” Senku said calmly, rubbing your hand a bit to loosen your harsh grip. He knew you’d be anxious, not just being separated but the dangers of the trip. He knew what you were thinking, ‘Senku could go on this trip, be killed and be gone forever’. And…yes there was a 0.001% chance you were right, but he was still confident in the stability of his equipment. “We have to go get more, and I need you here to help finish creating batteries with Gen.”
“He’s a creep- please Senku,” You begged, but the scientist pulled your grip off but held both your hands. He could barely feel you shaking already. Senku hated leaving you scared and anxious like this, but there wasn’t much of a choice. This was the only trip that required separation.
“I’ll be back as soon as I can. Remember to keep breathing slowly if it gets hard,” he said softly as Chrome and Kinro called for him from the forest line. “I know you don’t like them, but everyone in the village is here for you too. We’ve done this before, and we can do it again.”
“That was different! Taiju and Yuzuriha were around, I could call my parents, or I could hide away. I…I have nothing but you Senku,” you whimpered, on the edge of tears. You were so scared; you could feel your blood racing as your anxiety of his departure and absence destroying you. You subconsciously could feel his thumbs rubbing over your hands to comfort you. The small gesture meant so much, it helped you so many times before during school, test, when he went on vacations. He always found a way to help you, so him leaving was the worst.
“And you’ll still have me,” Senku’s smile was very soft, his voice matching it. “I swear I’ll be back, and once I’m back you can stay by me as long as you need too. For now, please take care of yourself (y/n). If we want to see each other again, we both need to be strong,” Senku’s red eyes stared into yours as he spoke, sincerity in his words. You slowly took in a deep breath and nodded painfully, letting go of his hands and watching him walk away. That was the hardest thing to do.
You sat in the hutch with Gen putting together these little batteries. His soft humming could almost be soothing if it was Senku’s voice. You weren’t aware, but Senku and Gen had already discussed about your separation anxiety. Gen noticed your shaky fingertips trying to stick the pieces together, your eyes darting around the room or to the door, biting your lip constantly he was sure you made it bled a bit. Normally, he would do a couple of his social quips and gain approval or hatred, but Senku HIGHLY advised not to, it would just increase your anxiety and give you more reasons to hate him. Gen settled on trying to make his company as relaxing as possible, only talk when need be. At one point, you glanced up at the mentalist and he had also glanced at you. You were immediate to look away, but his eyes felt a bit trustworthy. Still, you gravely missed Senku and prayed for his quick and safe return. You’ve been wanting to vomit for hours. Your fingers were very twitchy and your mind racing with awful fear-filled thoughts. During those thoughts, Ruri had tried to speak with you but your ignored her and lowered your head. Gen had escorted her out and you assumed she hated you now. You didn’t know Gen had cleverly explained the situation to Ruri. Slowly, the village would understand your struggles, but it takes time and they had a lot of it.
Hours passed and it grew closer to nightfall, but thankfully, Kinro’s voice echoed through the village announcing their return. Your eyes grew bright as you ran to the entrance to see all three made it back safe and sound. You ran over to Senku, barely allowing him to put down the hazardous gas before squeezing the life out of him in your hug. He choked out that you were hurting him and you finally freed him. Gen smiled from the hutch to see your immediate relaxation, Ruri standing besides him with a smile of her own.
“I understand now,” the blonde said, her hands clasped together. “It must be very painful, but I know the villagers and myself will do what we can to make her comfortable.”
“Trying to be comfortable until she comes around is all we can do. That’s all Senku did and he can be pretty difficult,” Gen chuckled, Ruri laughed a bit too. Senku ten billion percent knew the villagers would be there for you, whether you wanted it never or later.
If you want, maybe a short little thing about senku and a female reader (a childhood friend) who's having a little bit of a hard time adjusting to the stone world??
You stared into the small fire with a bit of a glare, though others might call it a pout. It’s been roughly two weeks since Senku and the others had woken you from the stone sleep trap but, honestly, a part of you wished to still be trapped. For whatever reason, you couldn’t think, you weren’t hungry or thirsty, or any other problems in the stone. This new world seemed more difficult to deal with. And being real, it was because of your love and slight dependency on technology. Before the stone age you were a nerd, playing video games in your free time, checking out social media, online shopping, you were perfectly happy with all that and your friends. You’re thankful you had your friends still but everything else you loved was gone. You didn’t know what to do with your free time when it wasn’t time for work.
“Ow!” You yelped and looked up rubbing your head. Senku stood beside you with a light smirk on his face and a stick in his hand. He didn’t hit to hurt you for real, just a bump to capture your attention.
“Alright, spill it, what’s on your mind (y/n),” he sighed as he made himself comfortable in the dirt next to you. Anybody could read your moods; you weren’t good at hiding them. But you and Senku have been friends since you were kids, he knows you well. You watched him try his experiments on Taiju and Byakuya. He refused to test on you, even when you offered. He didn’t want to risk something happening to you and Taiju backed him up. But he always let you watch, ask and help in any other way you could. He could see your curiosity in it all so it brought you two together.
“I hate the stone world…” your grumbled looking straight into the small flames. You felt childish for saying it but it was true. And you felt no reason to lie to Senku. He understood what the world was before, so he should understand why you hate this one.
“That’s why you’re pouting?” He laughed, throwing the stick into the dying fire.
“There’s nothing to do in this time period! There’s no video games, my entire PlooStation collection is obliterated! We can’t call each other to check in, all our clothes have to be made by us now…ugh, this sucks,” you huffed, pulling your knees to your chest and resting your head on your knees. You could hear Senku’s low chuckle, but it sounded a bit sad.
“Yeah, I know…all my experiments are gone too, books, chemistry sets…” For a moment, Senku remembered Byakuya, but he set that emotion aside for now. “But they’re all materialistic. Give me some time and I can bring back nearly everything you owned.”
“Wooooooow~ Senku, that’s real cocky of you!” You grinned slyly at him with a light laugh. He laughed in return.
“What, don’t think I can do it?”
“I know you can, I’m just impatient,” you smiled. “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be, that’s the life we knew. We’ll get there again, it’ll take us…”
“If you’re doing the math in your head stop. I’ll be surprised when it gets here.” Senku smiled at you and kicked some dirt over the low fire to snuff it out. You both gazed at the stars for a few minutes and appreciated how bright they were. With no light from Earth, the view of space makes a marvelous canopy to sleep under. You let out a little yawn and pushed some loose hair behind your ear. With no warning, Senku’s hand pat your back before he stood to his feet.
“C’mon, let’s get some rest,” he hummed and left his hand out for you to grab. You smiled as you were aided to your feet, brushing some leftover dirt off your clothes. Senku escorted you to your hutch you shared with Kohaku, Ruri and Suika, the three already asleep inside. “(Y/n)?”
“Yeah?”
“Are you going to let go of my hand now?” Senku inquired in a whisper and you both looked down to see neither had yet to let go from when he helped you up. You glanced the other way, rolling your head to look at multiple objects but still held onto his larger hand.
“Dunno what you’re talking about,” you said softly, mindful of the sleeping beauties in the hutch. Senku rolled his eyes playfully and glanced around him to make sure nobody was awake. He closed the small distance and placed a kiss on your cheek.
“Happy?” He asked, his cheeks already flushed a nice apple red. He never agreed even when you were kids, but he was incredibly cute when flustered.
“Mmm...I still don’t like the stone world...” you whispered playfully, trying to close the distance again but Senku’s free hand was placed on your forehead.
“Time to sleep,” he hummed, removing his hand. You saw the smile on his face. Physical affection was still not his thing, but he was fun to tease and he didn’t take it with any negative weight. You nodded and both said your good nights.
Hey yall, ya CinnaMun here (haha get it? hah..no?...ha haha hahh shucks)
I do plan on opening my ask box up soon (on or around July 1st). I do apologize for how slow it’s been being getting to this point, the ones I have taking a long time to come out and even my main story. Personal struggles vs my muse zone has been imbalanced and I don’t want to write garbage. I am also doing a very specific education requirement these past few months so that takes me a bit more focus from when I started this blog.
On that note, until I get the chance to re-organize the face of the blog, I may decline certain asks that seem similar or are the same to things I’ve already written. It’s that, or those get pushed farther on the back-burner. I understand why certain asks are appealing, specially since started as a reader-insert-into-the-dr.-stone-world blog, but I feel I can only write about a certain topic so much with slight various before it gets repetitive. Ex. meetings in the stone world, anxiety, kidnap/rescue, etc. NOT to say I won’t still fulfill your request, just saying I might decline it or delay it until I have a better muse for it. Feel free to put more requests like AU’s or HC’s too, or if not just give a lil more detail in how you’d like a story to go and I’ll work with that! :)
Thank youuu! see ya soon!
Headcanons for an S/O who got petrified and during the 3700 years, her back got connected with a huge bird’s wings and can now fly?
When you cracked out of your confinement, the first thing you had to do was stretch your sore bones.
At first, nothing felt weird, you felt a bit heavy but that must’ve been from being in stone so long.
When you stood to your feet is when you noticed your back was heavy, and when you looked you were in utter SHOCK.
WHY??? WHY DID YOU HAVE BIRD WINGS?????? WHAT HAPPENED ALL THIS TIME?
You did pull on them to see if they were really stuck to you, and it seemed legit.
You also smacked yourself a bit to see if this was a dream. It was already frightening enough to see the world covered in trees, leaves and no life around you.
You covered up with some leaves and searched for some basic survival items.
When random ass lions found you and began chasing you halfway through this forest, you swore you were done for.
But somehow, your feet started lifting off the ground, and before you knew it you were soaring above the trees.
You could feel bones somehow connected to your spine and back moving, looking over, you saw your beautiful brown wings bringing you high in the sky.
Your brain knew but you didn’t.
From this point out, you accepted your new…. skill, let’s say. You were nervous at the thought of any other people meeting you. But in this new, open world, being able to have wings and fly was incredible.
Senku x reader who who knows a lot about plants, gardening, and animals? Like the nature things but they’re really friendly and supportive and are determined to make a world where everyone can be at peace
“Ginro!! What are you doing?! Stop!!” You ran up to the blonde in a panic as you saw him uprooting the almost ripe carrots and potatoes you have been growing for the past few weeks now. You kept the soil fresh, always brought cool water to them and they were getting close to harvest at their peak and could feed many people in the team and village at their best flavor...and the young boy just ripped up at least a quarter or more of your hard work.
He looked over his shoulder up to you, his cheeks stuffed with the veggies and large eyes like an innocent chipmunk who didn’t know he stole the nuts. You snatched a pale carrot out of his hand and he whined. “
“Pleash (y/n)-shan, Kohako hash bon sho shcares width foood,” (Please (y/n)-chan, Kohaku has been so scares with food) He barely stated, little tears prickling at the corners of his eyes. You hated when boys gave you soft eyes, it wasn’t a sight much to see in modern days but this village boys had much prettier eyes. Just as you felt your morale weakening, a savior’s voice arrived.
“Ginro! Kohaku’s looking for you! Says you’re in big trouble!~” Senku grinned evilly as he walked up next to you. The blonde immediately got panic in his eyes, so as evil as he is, the genius continued. “She’s pretty mad about you ripping up (y/n)’s garden too early in season, it could have a pretty bad affect on the villagers and our overall production rate. Not to mention, you snuck away from training.” In less than a minute, the blonde ran as fast as the chipmunk he looked like straight back to the training grounds. Everyone knew Kohaku would kick his ass for skipping training, let alone setting back the kingdom’s goals.
“Man, I wouldn’t want to be in that kid’s shoes,” Senku chuckled, watching him disappear down the trail.
“How’d she know? I just found out a moment ago,” you asked the red-eyed crush.
“She doesn’t,” he smiled slyly. You stared at him for a moment, trying to process how he--...
You raised a hand to cover your face while you chuckled, noting how you could hear Senku chuckle a bit as well. “So now he’ll be in trouble for skipping training and call himself out on ruining my garden.” You sighed, a bit pleased though, hopeful he’ll learn. “You’re a bit evil Senku-kun.”
“Not the first time I’ve been told. C’mon, let’s get this fixed up,” the scientist patted you on the arm before kneeling down to start repairing the roots and dirt. You cheeks dusted a light blush before getting down next to him. Senku was a genius as most things, but he never took away your knowledge of gardening, plants or animals. Even in the stone age, he admired how you could come up with ideas to keep the bears and lions from ravaging all the food supplies. Or finding the best herbs to allow Senku to form more medications. He knew everything but you were a specialist in your field, and he was proud of you and proud to know you.
After about an hour, you two had repaired the damage done. What was uprooted by the boy couldn’t be saved to grow bigger, so you two deemed it best to just cook it as soon as possible. You two walked together back to the main hub of the Kingdom of Science. It’s not like the silence was awful or that awkward, you felt strangely comfortable around him, but you sensed something was bothering him.
“Senku-kun?” He didn’t respond, walking and staring straight at the ground. Now you were a bit worried, it wasn’t like Senku to publicly stress. “Senku?” You grabbed his wrist which gained his attention, his eyes glanced down at your hand. It was fairly small compared to his own, but you were a bit shorter than him.
“What’s wrong (y/n)?” He muttered.
“No, that’s what I ask you.”
“Everything’s fine,” he barely forced that out as a chuckle, probably hoping you’d believe his tricks like Ginro did.
“You’re thinking about something intense, you don’t go tone-deaf on me much,” your grip on his wrist tightened slightly. Senku felt it. In your grasp, he turned his wrist and wrapped his hand around your wrist, both of you holding onto each other. Senku’s smile was weak as he closed the distance between you two slightly. You two weren’t that far from camp, maybe he was worried someone might hear him.
“It’s a lot of pressure, that’s all,” he whispered looking into your (e/c) orbs, memorizing you in moments, but your worry, concern, love for him didn’t falter.
“We can do this,” you hummed, closing the distance a little bit. You noticed him lean his head down a bit and you tilted yours back slightly. He rested his forehead to yours, each of you just staring into the others eyes. It felt like he was absorbing your soul, sucking the breath from your lungs and pleading for something...but you weren’t sure what. He had recently come back from that walk with Ruri, you wondered what she showed him that was so important, if it impacted him somehow. But those weren’t your thoughts right now.
“I...I think we can get Tsukasa on our side eventually. The world can never go back to how it was, and it shouldn’t. But we can’t just let everyone in the older generation die.” You swallowed the small lump in your throat. “I...I believe we can do it. I believe in your science. I believe in you Senku...”
He was silent as he stared at you speaking. You weren’t sure when he started, but his thumb rubbed small circles in your skin where he held your wrist. For what felt like an eternity was probably a moment before he smiled.
“Thank you (y/n)-chan,” he spoke just above a whisper. You felt your cheeks flush with the added honorific. Senku has always been incredible in your eyes, and the way he could move your heart was thrilling.
If you’re not already writing one, would you do the “do you like that? like being in control?” prompt?
“Whoa whoa whoa there (y/n)! D-don’t you think you’re moving a little fast--!” Senku yelped as he barely dodged another strike from your sparring stick. Yes, he was the big brains of the entire Kingdom of Science in this Stone Age, but Kohaku mentioned the idea of him mastering the basics in fighting and most everybody agreed that was practical. You were sure even Senku knew it was a good idea too even if he didn’t want to do it. With the future throwing any curveball, everyone had to have some level of defense on their own. Since Kohaku was on another level with Ginro, Kinro and Magma, she gave you the trouble of teaching Senku basics. Trouble because it will be a long road…
“That’s the whole point genius,” you huffed, positioning yourself back into a defensive stance. Weapon guarding your core and your other hand tucked at your side in a fist, ready to attack or defend. “Get ready, Senku-kun!” You kindly prepped him a second before sprinting at him full speed. You internally laughed seeing his expression freak out and pull his stick up to defend himself. The two pieces of wood clashed together, you flipped your sideways to attack again and was proud to see him move in motion to block it again. He was learning! You repeated it again and again, watching him start to keep up with your movements. You could still feel the hesitation in his defense, not sure if this was the right move to keep him alive in a fight. You swung down towards his feet and he jumped backwards- he’s doing so good! You had a stupid happy grin on your face as you spoke to him.
“See! You’re getting the hang of it! It comes naturally!” You didn’t miss Senku’s uneasy laughter, but he did get right back in a guarding pose. To your surprise now, he did run at you, now you had your turn to guard. Sadly, his attacks were still somewhat sloppy. It was obvious which way he was going to swing before it happened, you counted how many weak spots he left open to injury and not to mention, the one attack you allowed to make contact barely hurt. There’s still a long…long ways to go.
Both of you were getting a bit tired, Senku more than you. So in the midst of his attack, you hopped to the side and spun on your heel to bring your stick around yourself and to his back, the fluffy part hitting him in the lower spine. The scientist fell down on his hands and knees, his weapon falling out of his hand. He was panting quite heavily for some light sparring, but he didn’t do much fighting or physical labor in general. (Or what he did do was light compared to most villagers.) You immediately sat on top of him, straddling him and pushing down between his shoulder blades as well, guaranteeing his entire body going flush against the dirt.
“I win~” You whispered in his ear, the grin was so obvious on your face Senku could practically sketch it in the dirt. After a couple more huffs of air, he chuckled a bit. “Hm? What’s so funny?”
“Do you like that?” He turned his head to look you in the eye, his typical smirk plastered on his sweaty face. Before you could question, he already answered. “Being in control?”
Your lips puckered a bit, like you just had a bite of some sour worm gummies, and your eyebrows pulled in, a pout on your cute face. You hopped off him and brushed of your clothes. Senku slowly got to his feet as well, brushing the dirt stains away as best he could and cracking a couple sore bones. That noise never sounded good to you.
“Shut it, I don’t care either way…” you muttered, not daring to look him in the eyes. “This is for your own good, you moron!”
Senku let out a hearty laugh, brushing the couple loose strands of hair out of his face. His skin held a thin layer of sweat on the surface which glimmered in the sunlight. His messed up leek-like hair looks as if he just got out of bed. His gorgeous red eyes were as beautiful as a field of red poppy flowers. You’d have a heart attack if you keep looking at this man.
“I know, I have to tease you on it though,” he smiled and pinched your cheek. He noticed the tint of red it held, and knew it wasn’t from sparring. “C’mon, let’s go grab a bite to eat, we still have a lot of work to catch up on in the lab,” he waved his hand in motion and you followed like a puppy.
BONUS:
“Hey, Senku-chan~” Gen smiled the younger boy, earning only a side glance from him.
“What do you need Gen?” Senku sighed.
“I just wanted to kindly note that between the two of you, (y/n) would be best in control as your top~…” Gen grinned evilly as he finally stepped out of the laboratory. Senku stared at his exit with a confused glare…his brain processing each word. A few dots later, his eyes widened and a light blush graced his cheeks. He immediately went back to work while grumbling about the damn mentalist.
If your requests are open could you do a Senku x female reader that is mute (she can talk but just refuses to) and when they get seperted she gets anxious because Senku is the only one that gets her? If not it's all cool too!!
(Y/n) sat on the school’s rooftop with her bento box on her lap, lid still on and backpack by her side. Every day at school, Senku always came up to meet you for lunch. It was one of the few times you felt comfortable, but it was because of Senku.
You had met him during first year in homeroom, the fact that he was a genius was easily noticeable, so many students admired him or were in awe just like you. How did he get along with everyone so easily? He just said what’s on his mind, even if it was a bit too blunt and people accepted him. You didn’t get that, you struggled the opposite. With so many people, so many voices and opinions and thoughts, you choked up quickly and shied away, you were mute. A couple classmates tried to talk to you but they didn’t understand why you couldn’t speak back and shortly left you. It wasn’t until a homeroom assignment a couple weeks into the semester that Senku reached out to you.
The assignment was a simple paper but the teacher wanted everyone to do it in pairs. For whatever reasons, Senku walked over to you, sat backwards in the chair in front of your desk and crossed his arms over the desk, saying with a smile ‘we should work together’. It utterly shocked you and your lips turned into a thin line as you stared down at your desk, anxiety causing your blood to race and your thoughts to be overbearing. He would tire of you and leave you like everybody else, this project wouldn’t work if you didn’t speak and you really didn’t want to speak.
The project was difficult, but Senku never stopped working with you. In the first hour, he figured out you were a mute person. It’s been a long time since somebody figured you out, it gave you a slight uplifting feel. Over time, he kept speaking to you, even though was one way. He brought you to the lab to show you small experiments he was working on, ran with you during gym (and you slowed down for him) and stood up for you when a couple other kids tried to tease you.
A couple upperclassman had cornered you in the hallway, questioning and teasing you about how you never speak. They don’t understand mute, they just make fun of what they don’t understand. You were breathing heavy through your nose, your muscles tensed and curled and your head tucked down. This was a horrible feeling, and after all positive feelings you’ve been having while around Senku…you missed that right now. Insanely missed that. To your surprise, his voice rang in the halls and the moment you looked up, he was standing in front of you, guarding you. That made your heart flutter, watching him defend you even if he may get beaten up for it. Thankfully Taiju arrived, unfortunately he took the beating. But as the kind soul he is, he said he’d take all the beatings that threaten to come towards his friends, and that included you. It was so hard to find the words to thank him, but Senku and Yuzuriha translated your emotional tears to Taiju for you.
Not long after, he invited you to have regular lunches with Taiju and Yuzuriha, but offered you the space that if you’re too uncomfortable, you can leave, no hard feelings. You didn’t want to disappoint him, he went through so much trouble for you. After Senku dully explained what being mute meant to Taiju, they were completely and openly accepting you and your small methods of communication. If it wasn’t for Senku, you would’ve never known you could have these wonderful memories.
“(Y/n)!” You snapped out of your thoughts and looked up to see the scientist walking over to you. The rooftops were quite during lunch (Senku’s recommendation) and he noticed you would slip a couple words out here and there. He knew that you were feeling comfortable then. You waved up to him while he took his seat next to you, bento box in his hand. Once he was finally next to her, now chattering on about Taiju being an idiot again in the lab, you noticed your shoulders relaxed and the breath you’d been holding was released. It seemed kind of sad, but you naturally got a bit anxious when he wasn’t with you. Over the year he became such a pleasurable cornerstone, one who continued to support you.
His crimson eyes glanced over when he felt a bump on his shoulder. You rested your head on him, a pure smile gracing your lips and your eyes closed. He let a soft smile form too. You didn’t have to say a word for him to understand how much all of this means to you. His hand came up and rested on your head, ruffling your hair a bit. Some things are better left unspoken.
Hello! I hope you're well. I was wondering if I could please request a fluffy one shot of senku coming across a similarly science minded reader surviving in the forest. Maybe he realises that he's fallen for her a little bit when he sees how smart she is? Thanks a bunch if you consider it, I love your writing :>
Senku raised his eyebrow as his nose picked up a whiff of smoke in the air around him. He was currently breaking specific stones off a mountain side for their next project at the Kingdom of Science. Thing is, this smoke smelt odd... it’s not your average firewood smoke. It mostly smelt like burning plastic, but his team hadn’t gotten to that molding point yet, so it couldn’t be them. He noticed a trail raising in the sky of thin gray clouds near the beach. It was a bit of a ways walk, but he needed to know what was going on. If Tsukasa was up to something.
He poked his head out of a leafy bush, just about to the sandy beaches now. That burning odor was stronger so logically, he was very close. A light cough surprised him, and after moving a little, he pinpointed a female was the cause. Her clothes were nicely made compared to his rags and even beat out some of the villagers, a mix of animal skin, twin for stitches, fur for comfort. She had a small fire going under a large tree, probably trying to cover or disperse the smoke appearance, with what looked like plastic bottles melting and dripping into another container under it. His crimson eyes grew wide- where did she find plastic?! If she knew what it was, she must have been from their time. He noticed a well-built hutch farther behind her, it was very small so it must only be for her. The leak-head was still studying the woman when she looked directly over at the bush he was in.
“If you’re going to hide and watch me, it’d be better to pull down your hair a bit, sir.” She chuckled, standing to her feet from her stump that’s replaced a real chair. Senku sighed, he figured they might’ve heard him in the bushes, but he didn’t really consider his hair was sticking out. (Even if the tips did match the leaves.) Her aura didn’t give off a defensive or mischievous demeanor, but he was cautious.
“Yeah, I guess you got me there. But the smell of burning plastic gives your location away ten billion percent more.”
“I’m sure it does,” she smiled. “But I have no choice, it’s the only way to get things rolling.” Senku raised an eyebrow with a usual ‘ehh?...’ escaping his mouth. Playing dumb works at times like these, and thankfully it worked on her too.
“I need to disinfect and reform this trash to make other useful items or in other shapes at least. If I can make more containers my food can last a bit longer, or I can store clean water.” She continued on for a bit, describing how melting down the plastic and pouring it into molds she’s previously created will allow her to recycle what didn’t decompose, and how the bacteria would be killed. Senku slowly gained a huge stupid grin on his face and a small chuckle. She looked up a bit worried, almost slightly defensive like a maniac who just lost his last marble.
“No no, I’m sorry to worry you.” He rubbed the back of his neck. “I didn’t think I’d run into any more scientists at this point in time. I was expecting it to be much longer, but I can’t say I’m disappointed.” She made an ‘o’ shape with her lips, before she smiled too.
“So you like science too?”
In that moment, Senku knew he had a new, wonderful addition to his Kingdom of Science. Another person to help with preparations, know proper procedures and safety measures. He never felt alone but to have a person who knows science like he does felt like he was an obsessive gambler who finally won the big lotto ticket.
After he easily convinced her to return to the Kingdom with him, she proved her worth in seconds of being on the grounds. She explained things to Kohaku about how certain rocks played a role when building a furnace, or gave Gen a push when it came to physical labor. It never went unnoticed how much you helped him in the laboratory, giving second opinions or ideas, just having another hand who knows exactly what needs to be done. Gen pointed out to the scientist he always smiled when (y/n) was near, seemed more excited or overall joyful. It earned Gen a light blush from Senku when he realized he may have been falling for you. But you had known your feelings for Senku from the moment he found you.
Helloo, it is I, the anonymous person, who you may call/recognise by the nickname Onion! I wondered if you could write something for a wandering merchant s/o with Senku? They had woken up a while before him and been wandering around, collecting stuff etc. Of course, if you don't want to write this it's perfectly fine! I love your work, it's amazing, 6/5
You carefully climbed back down the steep mountain side, until you felt safe enough to jump to the ground from a height that wouldn’t hurt your limbs. In your side pouch you had collected a bunch of shiny black and grey rocks, some tiny crystals were noticeable in there too. You emptied your findings into your make-shift carriage. To be honest, it was really small, could only hold so much. But in the time you have been awake, you made yourself a tiny home off a large tree, gathered your food and found others here and there. It was super awkward because some acted pretty normal, while others dressed quite differently. You noticed first how odd their shoes were, compared to yours at least.
You started to get a reputation between the few people you stumbled upon to having some sort of supplies they might be interested in, in return them trading you with another useful object. A guy named Tsukasa sent his men out to your shack as a regular customer. He offered you safety in his group, wonderfully cooked food and a progressive new world, but you preferred to be a free bird while you could. Maybe one day though, and he wasn’t forgetting that anytime soon.
As you dragged your cart down a dirt pathway, you heard a call from behind, noticing a blonde boy with a spear and a spiky haired boy walking up to you. You recognized the blonde as Ginro, he found you and came to you on and off for some specialty fish. The taller man was new, but no customer un-welcomed. You stopped your cart and brushed off the dirt from your clothes to be presentable, greeting them with a large, friendly smile and wave.
“Hey Ginro, been a while!”’ you chirped.
“See Senku, this is the girl I was talking about! (Y/n) is really good with finding stuff, she might have more of those magnet things!” You let the fact that he didn’t greet you slide, he was still a kid but it wasn’t your place to teach him basic mannerism. Besides, he was selling your business for you.
“You’re looking for magnets?”
Senku looked up from your cart and met your eyes. “You know what magnets are?” he asked, a little shock in his voice. In a moment, you both made the connection that you guys were from the same time period, like how you connected that with Tsukasa. You proudly nodded, your smile soft.
“Yeah, before the world became to stone. I was majoring in geology but never would’ve figured this is how I’d use my knowledge,” you laughed, opening your cart and pulling out some of the small black sparkly rocks. Senku’s face lit up and he stepped closer to observe them.
“Hehe, they’re the real deal. You do know your stuff (Y/n),” he grinned and your cheeks got a hint of pink. He’s known you for all of five minutes and felt comfortable to call you by your first name, not to mention the small compliment. “From what Ginro’s said, you do trades, since money isn’t much of an object here yet.” You nodded to confirm, glancing at Ginro to see he looked incredibly confused at your conversation with Senku. He was one of those guys in the weird shoes, but a good guy. “How much of what can I trade you for all you have?”
You put a hand to your chin in thought. What you could really use right now was a better weapon, all your rock knifes were pretty dull and your hands had scars from bleeding in the process of making them. Ginro’s staff looked pretty sturdy and it’d be easier to fish with, but you weren’t about to take his personal weapon. “Whomever can make a copy of Ginro’s staff, a sturdy one, that’ll be enough. I’ll give you two magnets as a deposit and the rest will come when the staff is handed over.”
“Sounds fair to me, give us a day. I’ll bring it to you tomorrow,” Senku agreed, taking the magnets from you, a smile gracing his lips. The boys left on their way and you smiled shly to yourself. Senku…he sure was a handsome guy. But now’s not the time to get love on the brain (y/n). Time to head home.
---TIME SKIP---
You didn’t really keep track of how many days or weeks or months have gone by, it was kind of nice just living life like that, you lived more in-the-moment. But the best moments have been when Senku comes by for a trade. He regularly stopped at your shack, seeing what you’ve collected, talking with you for a while, and sometimes sharing a meal you cooked too. You both reminisced on when the world was pre-stone age, remembering all the technological advances versus how simplistic it was now. Senku even shared how the Kingdom of Science was about to create cell phones, which left you speechless. It was getting late, and another day of Senku’s company was coming to an end. It left you feeling bittersweet.
“Are you coming with me yet?” he grinned, which looked a little bit evil to be honest.
“What do you mean?...” You hesitantly asked.
“To the Kingdom of Science. I can’t imagine a modern day girl like you would want to continue living like this forever, even if you are a geologist.” You stared into the fire, a bit of somberness in your eyes, that didn’t go unnoticed by Senku.
“You’re not wrong…but..ugh I don’t know,” You sighed. You knew you had feelings for Senku. It would make your world so much brighter to help him and wake up to see him every day instead of once a week. But he was at war with Tsukasa’s army and had some insane ideas he was putting on an old village. Was it really possible?
“I thought you might be a little apprehensive, so I brought insurance,” he chuckled and pulled out what looked like a flashlight from his side pouch. With one flick, he turned it on and directed it towards the darkening woods, proving how powerful it was. You were surprised he already created a flashlight in such a short period of time. “This only took us a day to complete, thankfully you had all the materials we needed. We’ve created a generator already, amped up our cooking skills like ramen and cotton candy and have a professional craftsman who’s mastered the art of glass making. We can have the world back to normal sooner with your help (y/n).”
Your surprised face slowly turned to a smile, followed by laughter which had the scientist questioning you. You waved a hand down, meaning it was okay. “I’m not laughing at that Senku-kun, it’s just surprising after all of this we can have our normal lives one day soon. Plus, I also get a hint of selfishness that somebody misses his laboratory too.~” You teased, poking the tip of his nose. His cheeks tinted pink and he looked away, rubbing lightly where you poked him. He was cute.
“Of course I do,” he softly hummed. “But right now my top priority is saving humanity. And your help would be very useful (y/n).”
“Don’t worry, I’ll follow you Senku-kun!” You smiled, he returned the grin with his own, rubbing your head and fluffing up your hair while you protested.
BONUS HEADCANONS:
While you were still a wandering merchant, Senku would make it a goal to visit you once a week. He was intrigued by you overall, but still felt without company, loneness would consume you.
He liked to see you alone, but he never stopped his other friends from coming. It helped encourage you to follow his Kingdom of Science as well.
After joining the team, you were the supplier for many items. Though you didn’t need any trades now, Senku still gave you high fives or other trinkets you may like. (Seashells, shiny new weapons, take your pick.) Once your relationship with him got more intimate and he was comfortable, he’d give you little kisses on the cheeks or back of your neck in private.
Senku eventually calculated the day you woke up. It added to the investigation how you woke up earlier then and if the revival fluid had played a role.
Senku would ask for your help in the lab most often. Between you and Gen of the modern world, he liked to get second opinions for how things looked or worked, but it was an excuse for him to have more time with you. (And Gen knew it and encouraged it. He was so proud of the leak-haired scientist to be unconsciously falling for you!)
Can you do the prompt "Bite your lips I dare you " or something like that for Senku? If you don't mind of course. Ps, I love your blog and writing!
You chomped a bit viciously on your tasty chicken leg, staring down at it with an intense gaze. You had to, you needed to distract yourself from Senku. For most of the week, any small thing he did drove you crazy with want- want to touch him, kiss him, hug, you wanted him in every possible way! You had admitted your feelings to him a while back and he shockingly didn’t deny you, but didn’t say yes to becoming a couple. Not surprising he still thought relationships were useless but he was willing to take things slow with you, in his terms that meant he liked you too.
Aaaaaaaaand it was slow. Gen had a blast teasing you about it, he could see you craving the scientist. Even Kohaku and Kinro caught on, but were too kind to do that to you. Chrome and Ginro didn’t notice anything. “You can’t keep this up forever (y/n)-chan~” Gen smirked, sitting next to you watching you take your frustration out of your food. You felt a bit of embarrassment and self-consciousness so you slowed down, cleaning up for face a bit in the process. “You’re going to crack!~” Your cheeks flushed a bit, damn mentalist.
“(Y/N)! Come here a second!” the leek-head called from his shed, sending nervous energy through your bones. Why now? Gen just riled you up too. Ughh…
You pushed the curtain aside and stepped into the shed, where he seemed to be mixing a couple of bubbling chemicals before putting both into one glass up. His red eyes gazed up at you and smiled. Your heart started beating faster, and he motioned you over which you complied.
“I want you to try this, I was thinking of surprising the Kingdom of Science, a little good ol’ ginger ale can be good with the flu season coming around soon.” He handed you the cup, a more serious look on his face. You nodded, not to dare yourself to saying something stupid. You took a sip and once you looked back, he was staring at you with anticipation, his deep red eyes and biting the corner of his lip in curiosity. “Well—“
“Bite your lip again, I dare you,” you muttered quickly, immediately breaking eye contact and your face turning red. God his lips looked so kissable…
“Huhh? (Y/n) what are you talking about?” You bit down on your lip and the hand not holding the glass curled in a ball. He wasn’t actually supposed to hear that but he did. You sighed softly, still unable to look back up at him, but you could feel he was still staring at you.
“Don’t bite your lip in front of me…” You said, a bit of embarrassment laced in your words. You shouldn’t be, in any normal relationship you wouldn’t be. But Senku said to take things slow, and wanting to smash lips together wasn’t slow. You could feel his stare on you for what felt like 3700 years before you heard an ‘oh’ from him. Good, now maybe you could go back to your chicken leg if Ginro didn’t finish yours.
Nevermind—Senku was suddenly close and he leaned to the side where you looked away from him, catching your lips in a light and gentle kiss. You were frozen in shock, and you fully processed it when he pulled away and stood straight again, a small signature smirk on his lips. He knew he got you, your cheeks were so red!
“I won’t do it again,” he laughed, and you pouted playfully. You set the ginger ale cup that was still in your hand back on the table.
“Senku-kun, did you even try that yourself?”
“Not yet, but since you didn’t spit it out, I figure it must be decently close.”
“Try some,” And in a flash, you jumped him. Wrapping your arms around his neck and pressing your lips back together where they belonged. Now the scientist was shocked. He couldn’t hold back your momentum and you both fell to the floor with a soft thud. You continued your playful ministrations while Senku became a flustered mess and had no hopes of controlling you now.
