ㅤㅤhe doesn’t like to CUDDLE. he likes to grip my hips and pull the fibers of pink tissue in shreds from my lip with his teeth. he throws his hands in the air like a messiah and leans his head out the window. we laugh loudly and kiss loudly and moan loudly. he mouths vulgar things that make me giggle in front of our friends. he says “us” like it means “amen” and his eyes burn wild with a fire of passion. we laugh and fuck and play and write and plot and say goodbye and never worry.

They did make her feel more comfortable than most people did, but she was still a little bit awful at telling people how she felt. “I feel like my friends have these cool jobs, so many friends. Most of them are married or have children, or they’re off travelling in really interesting places. I have none of that.”

Wolf wasn't one to get into sensitive topics with anybody; a bottle of vodka in a college party was what gave him the thrill of feeling more like himself, finding sides of himself he wouldn't if sober, and this girl whom he barely knew was here, trusting him. "Love, I'm not the right person to talk, but I gotta ask: is comparing yourself to your friends worth it? I might be happy in the other room, where the party is actually happening, and you might not, does that give me the right to compare myself to yours? We have different likes, and I can guarantee that not everyone is as happy as they look so..." Two shots later and the words couldn't stop spilling out of him. "Now, what is the point of coming to a party to be sad about the things you can't change?"

Having seen the other almost get run over by a car, Nathan breathed a sigh of relief. “Wow, you really know how to scare me.” He’d managed to push them out of the way of the car just at the right time. He couldn’t even comprehend what he’d have done if they were hurt. “Are you okay?” he asked, just to be sure. “Here, I should check…check you out, to make sure you’re okay.” It seemed unnecessary, but he wanted to be safe.

One moment Monica was crossing the street, the next she felt her body being thrown to the side as she made contact with the sidewalk instead. Monica inhaled sharply, looking at the stranger, ready to go off about how stupid the little stunt was when she realised she would have been smashed by an SUV if he didn't. "More like you were ready to scare me. What the fuck was that?" Darling was staring at the stranger and the road sceptically. "No need for the dramatic; I've been through worse." Instead of saying anything else, the shock settled in and her vision blurred, but quickly shook it off. "I need to get drunk after this, baby."
